LEVELING | ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM SACRESPRIT
Build Overview
Raxxanterax says it himself without hesitation: "this build is the best in the game for Spirit". This Season 13 Spiritborn build is a two-speed machine — an ultra-efficient leveling phase built around
Rock Splitter and a devastating endgame based on infinite Evade via
Rushing Claw. The transition happens naturally: both phases share the same skeleton (no resource management, passive survival, ever-present damage) but rely on different key skills.
Leveling —
Rock Splitter:
Rock Splitter is a generator, meaning you never run out of resource. Combined with the Gorilla Spirit Hall, each hit applies 150% of your Thorns to nearby enemies — a free synergy, requiring no legendary aspect, that catapults you directly into Penitent difficulty from the very first levels. You then take
Armored Hide to tank hits,
Ravager for Bosses, and
Soar for mobility. This is arguably one of the best leveling builds in the entire game, across all classes.
Endgame — Evade: Once in endgame, you switch to an infinite Evade loop.
Rushing Claw counts as an Evade and automatically resets as long as
Ravager is at level 20 (guaranteed minimum of 4 Ferocity stacks, triggering the charge refund). Result: you are literally unstoppable, surrounded by pestilential swarms that orbit around you and hit for trillions of damage.
Counterattack generates new swarms,
Scourge applies Vulnerable, and the
Ring of Writhing Moon makes the swarms orbit automatically around you even without any action. Widow's Web detonates all active poison stacks via critical hits for 300% instant damage — and you don't even need to stack critical strike chance; a single critical hit is enough to trigger everything.
The Spiritborn benefits from a unique combination through the Spirit Hall: Gorilla as the primary choice, Eagle via the Harmony of Ebewaka helmet. Every skill simultaneously receives both tags, which triggers a 30% damage bonus per spirit type present on each one. Resolve stacks scale both armor and damage through the
Colossal glyph. This build reached rank 1 of the Pit for the Spiritborn class, with hits of 9 trillion damage on an imperfect character.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Leveling among the best in the game —
Rock Splitter + Gorilla Hall active from the very first levels, unlimited resource, passive survival through Thorns - Infinite Evade in endgame:
Rushing Claw permanently reset thanks to
Ravager level 20, extreme movement speed even without movement stats - Colossal damage via orbiting poison swarms — up to 9 trillion on an imperfect build, rank 1 Pit Spiritborn
- No resource management: neither in leveling (generator), nor in endgame (free evade)
- Solid survival through Resolve stacks (up to 60 armor stacks) +
Armored Hide as a barrier
Cons
- "Eagle tag" bug on the Harmony of Ebewaka helmet: if the Eagle tag deactivates,
Ravager can drop below level 20 and break the infinite evade loop — workaround required (over-level
Ravager to 22+) - Leveling → endgame transition requires a full skill tree respec: leveling skills are dropped except
Ravager and
Armored Hide - Horadric Seal and endgame uniques required to reach full potential — Widow's Web,
Ring of Writhing Moon,
Temerity can be hard to obtain early in the season - Movement speed so high it can cause motion sickness in open world — Raxxanterax deliberately reduced his speed to stay comfortable
Recommended Gear
Loot Table
Leveling —
Rock Splitter: During the leveling phase, all your gear is legendary and focused on one thing: amplifying Thorns and survival. The
Bulwark's Aspect on the helmet protects you with a constant shield, while the
Aspect of the Fortress on the chest reinforces your overall resistance. On gloves, the
Aspect of Unyielding Hits boosts
Rock Splitter damage, and the
Pants carry Glynn's Anvil Aspect to optimize Gorilla interactions. The
Wildbolt Aspect on boots improves mobility, Waiting Aspect on the amulet supports durability, and the rings carry
Aspect of Lapa's Scripture and the Ferocious Aspect to fuel Ferocity. On the weapon, the
Edgemaster's Aspect maximizes generator damage. No Greater Affixes required during leveling — priority is ease of access.
Endgame — Evade: Endgame relies on four major unique pieces. Harmony of Ebewaka on the helmet is the centerpiece: it grants the Eagle tag to all your skills via the secondary Spirit Hall, unlocking a 30% damage bonus per spirit type on each skill. Look for Greater Affixes Dexterity and Cooldown Reduction on it.
Temerity on the
Pants ensures endgame survival, with Greater Affixes Dexterity and Maximum Life. Widow's Web on the amulet is the absolute multiplier: your critical hits detonate all active poison stacks for 300% of their damage instantly — target Greater Affixes for DoT multipliers and Vulnerable.
Ring of Writhing Moon on ring 2 automatically orbits poison swarms, also reducing Eagle skill cooldowns with each hit.
For endgame legendary pieces: the
Aspect of Pestilence on gloves directly amplifies your swarm damage, the
Aspect of Kinetic Suppression on boots maintains your movement speed (with the Greater Affix
Natural Motion), and the
Aspect of Infestation on the weapon multiplies damage over time. On the chest, look for ranks of
Counterattack — each activation sends new pestilence swarms. Universal priority on all endgame gear: damage over time multipliers, Vulnerable damage multipliers, and maximum Resolve stacks (Greater Affix "
Worldly Endurance").
Horadric Seal S13
The Horadric Seal is an exclusively endgame mechanic — no point investing in it during leveling. Once in endgame, the target set is Balazan's Bite at 5/5 active, with the Phoba, Fer, Mlor, Linta, and Beru charms equipped. This set activates a powerful poison damage bonus that synergizes with your swarms. Complete it with the Protean Heart as the unique charm: its power doubles your primary stats (100% bonus to base stats) with each active bonus change — an absurd multiplier that stacks with your Paragon. On the Legendary seal, the goal is to obtain +1 Charm Slot and a multiplicative damage bonus to maximize the value of each equipped charm.
Gameplay Tips
Leveling rotation: Spam
Rock Splitter constantly — it's a generator, you can't run out of resource. Activate
Ravager on Bosses for massive damage (the big gorilla hits hard). Use
Soar to move quickly between packs.
The Protector handles elite groups.
Armored Hide as an emergency shield.
Scourge at 1 point to apply Vulnerable when needed. As soon as the Gorilla Hall and the 3rd upgrade of
Rock Splitter are active, switch directly to Penitent difficulty.
Infinite Evade mechanic (endgame):
Rushing Claw counts as an Evade and refunds both charges if you consume 4 Ferocity stacks. The key:
Ravager at level 20 permanently guarantees a minimum of 4 Ferocity stacks. Result: you can never drop below the threshold, so you can spam
Rushing Claw indefinitely. Pestilence swarms swirl around you with each Evade, hitting everything in range. Activate
Counterattack regularly to generate new swarms and reduce cooldowns.
Vortex management:
Vortex is used via the Cry rune in rune-words — it automatically pulls enemies in and, with the "1000-Year Storm" upgrade, grants 20% damage reduction. It's a passive defensive AND offensive tool, not something to spam manually.
"Eagle tag" bug — mandatory workaround: The Harmony of Ebewaka helmet has a bug: the secondary Eagle tag from the Spirit Hall may not correctly apply to certain skills. When this happens,
Ravager can drop below level 20 and break your infinite evade loop. Workaround: only place Gorilla skill charms in your Talisman (never Eagle). Gorilla is native and bug-free. If you use Eagle charms, over-level
Ravager to 22+ via charms to compensate for the loss when the bug triggers. Raxxanterax is reporting this bug to Blizzard — it should be fixed soon.
Resolve = armor AND damage: Maximum Resolve stacks (tempered everywhere via the Greater Affix "
Worldly Endurance") each grant 25% armor. But the
Colossal glyph in the Paragon converts those same stacks into 2% multiplicative damage each. At 60 stacks, that's titanic armor and a colossal damage multiplier simultaneously.
Skill Tree
Leveling —
Rock Splitter: Level
Rock Splitter to 15/15 with the "Crowd Control Damage", "Resolve", and "Shattered Stone" (Thorns) upgrades.
Soar to 4 points for mobility (Free Bird).
Ravager to 15/15 with "Ferocity Maximum" and "Strength of the Forest".
Armored Hide to 15/15 with "Thorns", "Trampled Under Foot", and "Barrier".
Scourge at 1 point for Vulnerable.
The Protector to 15/15 with "Thorns Damage" and "Brutal Barrage". Spirit Hall: Gorilla primary (mandatory — 150% Thorns on Gorilla skills).
Endgame — Evade: Fully respec the tree.
Vortex at 1 point (Cry rune + "1000 Year Storm" for 20% DR).
Ravager at 1 base point but with the "Ferocity Minimum" and "Flurry of Claws" upgrades — charms and the Spirit Hall raise it further.
Armored Hide to 15/15 ("Ferocious Meal", "Barrier").
Scourge to 15/15 with "Hive Mind" and "Vulnerable".
Counterattack to 15/15 with "
Counterattack of the Swarm" and "Duration Increase" — generates pestilence swarms on each activation.
Rushing Claw at 1 point with "Charge Refund", "Evasive Swipe", and "Incarnate Duration" — this is your permanent Evade button.
The Devourer at 1 point with "Spew Putrefaction" — massively amplifies poison damage. Spirit Hall: Gorilla primary (bug-free) + Eagle secondary via Harmony of Ebewaka.
Mercenary S13
Subo is the endgame mercenary for this build. He revolves around two complementary signature skills:
Wire Trap, which places an explosive impact-triggered trap, and
Trip Mines, which litters the ground with proximity mines to slow and damage enemies. During the leveling phase, the mercenary is not yet available — focus on your own skill tree. Once in endgame, Subo brings complementary defensive and offensive support that works perfectly with your Evade mobility: your enemies walk into the traps while you swirl around them.
Paragon
Paragon is exclusively endgame — during leveling, no nodes are allocated. Once in endgame, the 5 priority boards are as follows:
- Start (40 nodes) — Canny Glyph rank 100: optimizes basic skill damage and general multipliers.
- Viscous Shield (55 nodes) —
Fester Glyph rank 100: amplifies poison damage over time, a direct synergy with your pestilence swarms. - Drive (60 nodes) —
Consumption Glyph (
Consumption) rank 100: boosts Vulnerable damage, complementary to
Scourge which applies Vulnerable. - Revealing (62 nodes) —
Scourge Glyph (Bane) rank 100: further strengthens damage against Vulnerable enemies. - Convergence (51 nodes) —
Colossal Glyph rank 100: 2% multiplicative damage per Resolve stack. With 60 stacks, that's a 120% multiplier — the reason you temper maximum Resolve everywhere on your gear. This armor/damage synergy through Resolve is the core of the endgame build.
Raxxanterax's glyphs are at rank 107 at the time of the video — pushing to maximum rank will easily push you past 10 trillion damage. Simply copy the boards — the Paragon is designed to maximize damage without compromise.

Hey !
