ENDGAME | PIT PUSH WARLOCK
Build Overview
The Minion Warlock Endgame, designed by @MacroBioBoi on Maxroll, is one of the most complete builds of Season 13 for the Warlock. Its main engine is Bombardment: each cast projects eight minor demons onto enemies, each of them ultimately sacrificed in service of your power.
The Blade of Sight Aflame multiplies this mechanic by causing each killed minor demon to explode for four times the damage of Bombardment, bringing its multiplier to over 120% additional damage.
The build's distinctive feature lies in the density of simultaneous superior demons: two Ae'grom's Schism Aegrom, a Hell Worm via Sigil of Summons, a Brute via
Rampage, and as many Tortured Wretch as you can summon via Command Fallen in the endgame version. The Horazon's Chains 5-piece set transforms this flood of demons into a massive multiplier: each active superior demon grants +30% multiplicative damage via the 2-pc bonus, and the 5-pc bonus triggers ALL Soul Shards demons simultaneously for 10 seconds with ×3 total damage.
The build is also nearly invincible in endgame: Dark Prison auto-triggers via The Pridwen for a permanent 30% damage reduction, the Sacrificial Fragment Soul Shard makes the character unstoppable whenever they would be crowd-controlled (a minor demon dies in their place), and the multiple Tortured Wretch each absorb up to 30% of your maximum Life before exploding. MacroBioBoi confirms he farms Tier 10 comfortably and tackles Pits 5 to 10 levels above.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Near-unkillable survival thanks to multiple Tortured Wretch, the Sacrificial Fragment Soul Shard (permanent unstoppable) and the damage reduction from Dark Prison
- Colossal damage multiplier via the Horazon's Chains 5-pc set: up to ×8 superior demons active simultaneously = +240% multiplicative damage or more
- Smooth and comfortable rotation: Bombardment auto-cast by the Hell Worm, infinite resources thanks to the Legion Soul Shard, permanent unstoppable
- Excellent in open-world farming and Pits, comfortable progression up to Tier 10 and beyond with no survival difficulty
- Natural progression from leveling to endgame with the same core mechanics, no gameplay disruption
Cons
- Not the fastest build in pure movement speed: reliance on the 2 charges of Nether Step for burst mobility
- The "sweaty" endgame version with Tortured Wretch requires active management of summons and a sufficient critical hit level (50% critical strike chance mandatory)
- Dependent on the Horazon's Chains set to reach full potential: the build is truly optimal only with the complete 5-pc bonus
Recommended Gear
Loot Table
The cornerstone of the endgame is the mythic helmet
Heir of Perdition, which directly amplifies the build's demon mechanics and stands as an absolute must-have once your 5-pc set is acquired. In Midgame, it is replaced by the
Godslayer Crown to secure your first Pit sessions.
The Ae'grom's Schism chest is essential: it doubles your Aegrom summon, meaning two additional superior demons permanently, which equals +60% multiplicative damage from that slot alone. With the Horazon's Chains 5-pc bonus, this doubling also translates into an additional activation charge.
The Bindings of Attrition pants passively activate Dark Prison permanently: combined with The Pridwen (off-hand shield that automatically casts Dark Prison), you gain 30% damage reduction without ever placing Dark Prison on your skill bar. You still benefit from all the skill tree bonuses associated with that skill, however.
The main weapon
The Blade of Sight Aflame is the second DPS pillar: each minor demon killed explodes for ×4 the damage of Bombardment, and Bombardment itself gains up to +120% damage. With the eight minor demons generated by each cast of Bombardment, the effect triggers massively with every rotation.
The full Horazon's Chains 5-piece set is the build's absolute goal: the 2-pc bonus grants +30% multiplicative per active superior demon, and the 5-pc bonus simultaneously triggers ALL Soul Shard demons with ×3 total damage for 10 seconds. The priority endgame Greater Affixes are additional ranks of Core Warlock Bombardment (gloves) and critical strike chance (rings).
Horadric Seal S13
The Horazon's Chains set is composed of five charms named Phoba, Fer, Mlor, Linta and Beru. Gathering these five pieces in your Horadric Seal is the prerequisite to unlocking the 5-pc bonus that transforms the build: ALL your Soul Shard demons appear simultaneously and you deal ×3 damage for 10 seconds after each Soul Shard skill activation. This burst of demons combined with your already-active superior demons (double Aegrom, Hell Worm, Brute, Tortured Wretch) creates the build's most devastating damage windows.
The unique slot of the Seal holds Seed of Horazon, the unique charm that directly reinforces your kit: your Demonology skills gain additional damage based on your accumulated Fury, and a reduction of damage taken based on your Dominance. Since you constantly generate Dominance thanks to the Legion Soul Shard (free superior demon casts), Seed of Horazon contributes as much to your survival as to your offensive power. The legendary seal "Havoc Lash / of Glory" completes the setup by adding a passive damage modifier.
Build Variants
The build naturally unfolds across four phases. In the Leveling phase, you lay the foundations with Bombardment and Command Fallen to get a feel for the minor demon mechanics. The Starter version introduces Sigil of Summons for the Hell Worm,
Rampage for the Brute, Nether Step for mobility and Fiend of Abaddon as the main superior demon. The right balance between offense and defense allows you to reach Tier 7-8 without too much pressure.
In the Midgame, acquiring
The Blade of Sight Aflame, Ae'grom's Schism and Bindings of Attrition radically changes the build's profile: you drop Fiend of Abaddon in favor of a maxed Command Fallen, and the double Aegrom begins to deliver its multiplicative effects. Midgame targets Tier 9-10 and the Pit.
The Normal Endgame version (T10 farming) keeps Command Fallen on the skill bar and adds the mythic helmet
Heir of Perdition with the full Horazon's Chains 5-pc set. The "Sweaty" version (Pit T10+ and Boss push) replaces standard Command Fallen with a variant focused on Tortured Wretch: these demons each absorb 30% of your max Life before exploding and Fortifying you, and with several active simultaneously, you become nearly indestructible against Bosses like the Woodland Titan.
Gameplay Tips
Basic Rotation: open with
Rampage to summon your Brute and trigger Fury generation on your minor demons. Follow up with Sigil of Summons to immediately spawn the Hell Worm (thanks to the Summon Hellwyrm upgrade). Spam Bombardment: each cast projects eight minor demons that inflate your death counter, and your Hell Worm casts its own mirrored Bombardment, doubling your base DPS. Recast
Rampage as soon as it is available to keep Fury generation active (5-second window).
Resources: don't worry about your Dominance. The Legion Soul Shard provides free superior demon casts every 200 demon deaths — with the avalanche of minor demons generated by Bombardment, this trigger fires constantly. You can freely spend your Dominance without fear of running dry. Fury is also automated as soon as
Rampage is active.
Mobility and Survival: save the 2 charges of Nether Step for phases where you need to reposition quickly or dodge a Boss mechanic. Otherwise, stand still and farm: the build is tanky enough to face-tank the majority of attacks without dodging. In the sweaty endgame version, summon as many Tortured Wretch as possible before engaging a Boss: there is no limit to the simultaneous number, and each one absorbs 30% of your max Life before exploding and Fortifying your character. Against the Beast in the Ice or any T10 Boss, the stack of Tortured Wretch makes you virtually invulnerable.
5-pc Window: as soon as you activate a Soul Shard skill, take advantage of the 10-second ×3 damage window to maximize Bombardment casts. Synchronize the Soul Shard activation with dense packs so that the demon explosion benefits from the multiplier for its full duration. Seed of Horazon in your unique charm slot reinforces this window by adding Demonology damage proportional to your accumulated Fury.
Talent Tree
Mercenary
Varyana is the build's primary mercenary. Her skills
Rend and
Bloodthirst position her as an effective auxiliary DPS source that integrates perfectly into the demon chaos:
Rend lacerates grouped enemies while
Bloodthirst grants her a progressive power increase with each kill — an environment your demon army guarantees at all times. Varyana also helps maintain pressure on Bosses thanks to her high attack rate.
Raheir is selected as Reinforcement for his exceptional defensive robustness. His role is to serve as an auxiliary tank and Fortify generator in the Starter and Midgame phases where your Tortured Wretch are not yet available in large numbers. His synergy with a minion build is natural: while your demons drain elite attention, Raheir intercepts residual damage and ensures your survival in mid-tier Pits.
Paragon and Glyphs
The endgame build uses five Paragon Boards, each optimized around a level 150 glyph:
The Starter Board hosts the
Eliminator glyph, which amplifies damage against low-health enemies. In a T10 farming environment where your demons constantly finish off targets,
Eliminator triggers almost permanently and constitutes a very solid passive multiplier for the Warlock.
The Dominion board is paired with the Unbound glyph, which strengthens synergies tied to Dominance. Since the build generates and spends Dominance continuously via its superior demons, Unbound fully benefits from this constant flow.
The Demonic Spicules board features the Demonologist glyph, dedicated to Demonology builds. It directly amplifies the damage of Bombardment and Demonology skills when demons are active — which is 100% of the time in Endgame.
The Ritualism board uses Eldritch Sight, which improves the vision and targeting capabilities of demonic skills. In Endgame with many simultaneous targets, this glyph optimizes the spread of Bombardment damage and minor demon explosions.
Finally, the Fathomless board is equipped with the
Guzzler glyph, which takes advantage of demon deaths and resource consumption. With hundreds of minor demons sacrificed per session,
Guzzler transforms this relentless death rhythm into a considerable passive damage multiplier. All these glyphs reach their full potential at level 150, which represents the build's long-term paragon goal.
