LEVELING | ENDGAME | PIT PUSH DRUIDE
Build Overview
The Storm Pack build for Season 13 is one of the most formidable Druid compositions currently available in Diablo 4, rated S-TIER by its creator @Zaior and validated in Pit 110+ pushes with remarkable ease. Its identity revolves around a pack of
Wolves driven by the Storm Companions tag, turning each companion into an electrifying war machine capable of dealing massive damage fully autonomously while you manage the defensive mechanics.
The build's philosophy is radically different from a classic Druid: you do not spam offensive skills manually. Instead, you build a survival foundation — stacking Resolve charges via
Earthen Bulwark to trigger regular Overpower procs, maintaining
Debilitating Roar to reduce incoming damage, and activating
Grizzly Rage as often as possible thanks to
Flickerstep which resets Evade. Your
Wolves handle the rest.
Grizzly Rage grants up to +200% multiplicative damage, permanent Berserking and +100% Fortification — an absolutely broken ultimate in Season 13.
This build is recommended for experienced players who are comfortable managing multiple simultaneous buffs and who are aiming for high Pit pushes. It demands a significant gear investment (notably the
Flickerstep boots and the mythic helmet
Heir of Perdition), but once the endgame configuration is reached, it tears through Season 13 content with devastating efficiency.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- S-TIER in Pit 110+ pushes — exceptional burst damage via
Grizzly Rage (+200% multiplicative damage, Berserking, Fortification) - Fully automated damage —
Wolves with the Storm tag deal constant damage without any manual offensive actions - Exceptional survivability — 46 Resolve charges +
Earthen Bulwark Overpower +
Debilitating Roar mitigation - Very strong Nafian's Bestiary Horadric Seal set — summons an additional bear companion, +60% companion damage and auto-cast of
Debilitating Roar - Near-permanent
Grizzly Rage uptime via
Flickerstep (Evade reset = -10s cooldown on each dodge)
Cons
- Not optimal for farming — the build is designed for high Pit pushes, less efficient for speed farming low-level content
- Dependent on
Flickerstep — without these unique boots,
Grizzly Rage uptime drops drastically - Charge management complexity — Resolve, Fortification, Overpower and cooldowns must all be tracked simultaneously
- High endgame gear investment curve — the mythic helmet
Heir of Perdition and the three uniques are essential for the STORMPACK configuration

Loot Table
This build follows a progression in three distinct phases. During leveling 1-30, it relies on accessible legendaries with
Spirit Bond Aspect on the helmet,
Aspect of Disobedience on the chest and
Aspect of the Wildrage on the gloves to maximize Willpower and
Wolves ranks. The ancestral 30-70 phase introduces
Aspect of the Rabid Beast on the gloves and
Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast on the second ring to improve synergies with
Grizzly Rage. The STORMPACK endgame phase is the final and most powerful configuration.
In endgame, the helmet becomes the mythic
Heir of Perdition, a major investment that significantly improves Critical Strike Chance (Greater Affix 15% Critical Strike Chance) and multiplies the build's overall power. On the chest,
Overcharged Aspect amplifies
Grizzly Rage damage — it can alternatively go on the boots in configurations where
Flickerstep has not yet been acquired.
The pants Storm's Companion are the central piece of the Storm Pack concept: they grant the Storm tag to your
Wolves, which activates the build's elemental synergies and multiplies their output in extended combat. The boots
Flickerstep are described by @Zaior as essential — each Evade reduces the cooldown of
Grizzly Rage by 10 seconds, enabling near-permanent uptime of the ultimate as long as you manage your dodges properly. Look for a Greater Affix on Maximum Life or Movement Speed.
The amulet carries
Aspect of Reanimation to extend the duration of active companions. The first ring is the unique Accord of the Wilds, which directly amplifies companions — target a Greater Affix on Critical Strike Chance. The second ring receives
Aspect of the Stampede: +1 additional companion and +35% companion damage, an indispensable multiplier for endgame pushing. The weapon is reserved for
Shepherd's Aspect, which multiplies all companion damage by 26% — this is the offensive foundation of the entire composition. Look for Willpower, the Lightning damage multiplier and Critical Strike Damage as Greater Affixes on this weapon.

Build Variants
The Storm Pack build progression follows three well-defined stages. During leveling 1-30,
Wind Shear and
Lightning Storm are played as primary offensive skills to generate Spirit quickly, alongside one rank of
Wolves,
Poison Creeper and
Ravens to lay the groundwork for the companion composition.
Blood Howl provides mobility and survival. From level 30-70, the build switches to
Claw as the Spirit generator, maxes out
Wolves, pushes
Lightning Storm to 15/15 and starts investing in
Poison Creeper rank 15. The priority is to accumulate ancestral aspects and reduce
Grizzly Rage cooldown through dedicated affixes. The STORMPACK endgame configuration fully replaces
Earthen Bulwark for any manual offensive skill, adopts the full 5-piece Nafian's Bestiary talisman and integrates the mythic
Heir of Perdition along with the three uniques (Storm's Companion,
Flickerstep, Accord of the Wilds) to reach Pit 110+ push potential.
Gameplay Tips
The endgame rotation of this build is simpler than it looks once internalized. Start by casting
Earthen Bulwark to trigger an Overpower and stack Resolve charges — aim for 46 charges via Tempering Greater Affixes on the chest, amulet and pants, which activates the Might of the Ursine Horadric Seal charm for +500% companion damage. Follow up with
Debilitating Roar to debuff enemies (-X% damage taken, duration extended via the Increased Duration upgrade), then activate
Grizzly Rage as soon as it is available. In bear form, you gain +200% damage, permanent Berserking and +100% Fortification — your
Wolves handle all the DPS autonomously.
The key to
Grizzly Rage uptime relies on
Flickerstep: each Evade reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds. Dodge proactively even when out of danger to maximize time spent in bear form. Maintain Critical Strike Chance around 70-75% to regularly trigger the Pack Leader passive node (companion skill reset on each critical strike), which further amplifies the
Wolves damage rate. For Spirit Boons in Pit pushes, @Zaior recommends Pack Leader combined with Calamity to extend the duration of
Grizzly Rage. When farming or if your defenses feel insufficient, opt for Advantageous Beast (Movement Speed) or Weariness depending on your comfort level.
Regarding runes, the Nagu set is recommended to keep your companions permanently active, while Ignikay is used to trigger
Earthen Bulwark from the out-of-combat bar. Finally,
Poison Creeper via
Shepherd's Aspect remains passively active and contributes to overall DPS without requiring any manual action.
Skill Tree
The STORMPACK build's skill tree is built around two pillars: maximizing companion charges and the Overpower machine via
Earthen Bulwark. The latter, maxed at 15/15 with the Travertine Bulwark upgrades (Fortification on activation), Fortify and Healing (+3 seconds Fortified, +20% life) and Overpower, is the defensive and offensive cornerstone of the build — each activation stacks Resolve charges and triggers an Overpower that amplifies subsequent damage.
Wolves at 15/15 with the Werewolf Pack upgrade is the primary damage engine.
Ravens (rank 1, Raven Flock) add a layer of passive DPS and synergize with
Shepherd's Aspect.
Cyclone Armor at 11/15 with the Resistance upgrade covers the elemental resistances essential for Pit pushing.
Debilitating Roar at 10/15 with Increased Duration, Maximum Life and Booming Roar ensures lasting mitigation and frees up room for the Horadric Seal to handle the auto-cast. The skill
Claw (rank 1, Célérité) remains present as an emergency Spirit generator.
Grizzly Rage at 15/15 with the Cornered Beast upgrades (+damage when life is low), Fortify (+100% Fortification on transformation) and Cooldown Reduction further increases uptime. The key passive node is Lust for Carnage, which synergizes directly with the Werebear Paragon glyph to reduce damage taken in bear form. The Storm Howl node is allocated to grant the Storm tag to companions in conjunction with Storm's Companion pants, thereby activating the build's entire elemental synergy chain.
Mercenary
The primary mercenary recommended by @Zaior is Raheir, hired with the skills
Ground Slam and
Bastion accompanied by 2 mitigation passives.
Bastion provides an additional protective shield that synergizes with the build's Fortification mechanics, while
Ground Slam ensures crowd control against dangerous enemies. For Mid-game Skulls dungeon variants, Varyana as a reinforcement is recommended to maximize burst DPS. In the endgame Chains configuration, Aldkin as a reinforcement with the
Field of Languish skill brings valuable area control for dense packs in high Pit pushing.
Paragon and Glyphs
The STORMPACK endgame Paragon configuration uses 254 nodes spread across 5 boards, each optimized around a dedicated glyph for companion damage or elemental multipliers. The starting board is completed with the
Guarded (Keeper) glyph which grants +15% non-physical damage — a solid base for the
Wolves' Lightning damage.
The second board Untamed houses the Wilds glyph, focused specifically on companion damage: it is the most direct Paragon multiplier for amplifying your pack. The Lust for Carnage board receives the Werebear glyph, which reduces damage taken in bear form during
Grizzly Rage — a fundamental defensive combo for surviving Pit 110+. The Heightened Malice board is paired with the
Spirit glyph for increased critical damage and the enemy poisoning bonus. Finally, the Thunderstruck board carries the
Earth and Sky glyph which grants +18% Nature Magic damage — a devastating multiplier applied to all Lightning damage from Storm companions.
