ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM SACRESPRIT
Build Overview
The Season 13 poison Spiritborn means business: this is the fastest clearing build of the season, capable of wiping an entire room of monsters in a fraction of a second. The principle relies on an instant execution mechanic triggered by poison. When a poisoned enemy dies from their ailment damage, the
Instant Kill upgrade of
The Devourer triggers an immediate explosion — no death animation, no delay. The result: a room full of monsters disappears on contact, and the combat loop begins again.
The gameplay loop revolves around
Rushing Claw, your signature mobility skill. You activate your cooldowns, then dash through enemy groups at full speed. Each pass applies poison,
Scourge permanently maintains Vulnerability around you, and
The Devourer converts death by ailment into an instant execution with an AoE explosion. The power of
Rushing Claw also comes from its
Incarnate Duration upgrade: each charge consumed extends the duration of all your Incarnation skills, keeping
Counterattack and your other Incarnations active indefinitely as long as you keep chaining dashes.
The Spirit Hall is at the core of this build's viability. Gorilla as the primary spirit builds a Barrier that feeds a significant damage multiplier through the Paragon boards. Eagle as the secondary spirit provides 20% Vulnerable damage as well as a Critical Strike Chance bonus — two key stats for Season 13. This build is particularly effective in Hellride for instant contact kills, in Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, and beyond Torment 12 for bosses — with some adjustments on
The Devourer depending on the activity.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Near-instant mass clearing: entire rooms of monsters evaporate on contact with poison
- Extreme mobility thanks to repeated
Rushing Claw charges and passive cooldown reset via the
Prodigy's Tempo board - Permanent Vulnerability guaranteed by
Scourge and the Eagle bonus from the Spirit Hall - Excellent survivability thanks to the Gorilla's constant Barrier and the ailment damage reduction from
Counterattack - Very versatile: Hellride, Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, Torment 12+
- Bugged variant available for Pit pushing (x600% damage on all skills)
Cons
- Cooldown rotation to memorize: the loop requires some practice to chain dashes without interruption
- Dependent on
Ravager ferocity stacks: without a sufficient rank or +skill affixes to reach the guaranteed minimum ferocity, the
Rushing Claw reset does not work - Some poison-resistant bosses require swapping the upgrade on
The Devourer to maximize poison duration rather than the instant kill - The x600% variant relies on a bug (rune interaction) — liable to be fixed at any time
- The
Ring of Writhing Moon and certain unique items have specific drop requirements

Loot Table
The centerpiece of the build is undoubtedly Ebewaka's Harmony at the helm, the iconic Spiritborn unique that directly synergizes with the Incarnation loop. On the chest, a legendary breastplate bearing the Aspect of Glynn's Anvil converts each Resolve stack generated by
Rushing Claw into damage reduction and an offensive multiplier — the Resolve stack is therefore a resource to maintain as much as a defense.
The legendary gloves are equipped with the
Aspect of Pestilence, which amplifies the spread and intensity of poison applied to enemies on contact. The
Pants receive the
Exploiter's Aspect: this piece leverages the slow mechanic to trigger the Fear state, and Feared enemies take 40% bonus damage — a particularly effective passive damage bonus on large packs. On the boots, the
Aspect of Kinetic Suppression is fundamental: each
Rushing Claw charge grants 3 Resolve stacks, continuously feeding Glynn's Anvil systems and the Paragon boards.
The amulet houses the Aspect of Supremacy, which grants 11.7% damage per stack up to 117% as long as your ultimate
The Devourer is active. It is therefore imperative to keep the ultimate up permanently to benefit from this multiplier. The
Ring of Writhing Moon, a unique obtained by defeating Lord Zur, is the second unique piece of the build: it automatically summons a pestilential storm every 4 seconds and reduces the cooldowns of Eagle skills, easing cooldown management. The second legendary ring houses the Neurotoxic Aspect to further amplify poison damage.
The legendary weapon bears the
Aspect of Infestation and must imperatively have a Greater Affix on the Damage over Time Multiplier — this is the only piece in the build with this priority Greater Affix, not to be overlooked during crafting and re-rolling. For general affixes, Dexterity is the absolute priority stat: every piece capable of rolling Dexterity must have it. Round out with poison damage, Vulnerable damage, and ailment damage on rings and jewelry.
Regarding tempered affixes, prioritize Resolve generation on the helm, chest,
Pants, and amulet. These tempering affixes directly feed the stack pile that activates both damage reduction and offensive multipliers. The
Ring of Writhing Moon drops from Lord Zur — plan a targeted farming session to obtain it.
Horadric Seal S13
This build's Horadric Seal revolves around the Balazan's Bite set at 5/5, which extends poison ailment duration and automatically applies a weakening effect to poisoned enemies — a valuable bonus that removes any need to seek a "Weaken" affix on gear. The set also adds healing on poison application and increases Maximum Life, two stats that bolster survivability during fast clearing. The seasonal bonus every six seconds (free execution of the most poisoned enemy + triggering Aspect of Scorching Heat) remains active in standard clearing, and grants 250% bonus damage on every Aspect of Scorching Heat cast — a multiplier you keep even when the boss variant of
The Devourer is equipped.
The unique charm Pertan Heart completes the composition: when you chain a skill from a different spirit base after
Rushing Claw, your primary stat doubles for a few seconds — Dexterity then goes from ~1,700 to ~3,200 in the rotation, representing a massive damage multiplier across the entire build. Pertan Heart drops from the Harbinger of Hatred. The legendary seal occupies the 6th slot: it grants +1 charm slot, which unlocks all six full slots in the grid.
Gameplay Tips
The rotation starts by activating all your available cooldowns, then you dash through enemy groups with
Rushing Claw by chaining charges.
Scourge permanently applies Vulnerability around your character and requires no active management — keep it active and let it do its job.
Ravager must reach an effective rank of at least 20 to guarantee the minimum of 4 ferocity stacks: this threshold is critical for
Rushing Claw to reset its cooldowns through the
Evasive Swipe mechanic. Make sure your items provide the +5 bonus to
Ravager to reach this threshold without difficulty.
Maintaining the infinite dash loop relies on the
Prodigy's Tempo Paragon board: after the 3rd consecutive cast of the same skill, all active cooldowns are reduced by 30%. If you consistently chain your
Rushing Claw charges with other skills in the right order, this bonus triggers permanently and you never run out of available charges. The key is not to interrupt the cast sequence.
For bosses resistant to poison or at Torment 12, swap the
Instant Kill upgrade on
The Devourer for an upgrade that increases poison ailment duration. This noticeably improves DPS pressure on targets that don't die instantly. Raheir with
Bastion as your primary mercenary is recommended for the damage bonus in boss fights. The Aspect of Glynn's Anvil on the chest requires an active Resolve stack: as long as you use
Rushing Claw normally, the
Aspect of Kinetic Suppression on the boots automatically feeds these stacks — don't worry about it between fights.
Spirit Hall management is simple: Gorilla as primary for the Barrier (and the damage multiplier at Paragon that depends on it), Eagle as secondary for Vulnerable damage and Critical Strike Chance. Don't try to alternate — this combination is optimal for the build. Finally, the Charm obtained from the "Harbinger of Hatred" boss can swap your base spirit and grant +100% to your primary stat, which represents a significant gain if you obtain it in good quality.
Skill Tree
Mercenary S13
The primary mercenary is Raheir, equipped with
Ground Slam and
Bastion. His
Bastion is the cornerstone of the combination: it adds a layer of damage reduction during boss fights while generating a solid damage multiplier during longer phases.
Ground Slam provides a knockdown on grouped enemies, perfect for complementing the build's
Vortex crowd control and keeping packs locked down while poison does its work.
As reinforcement, Varyana is slotted with Bloodthirst for the additional attack speed. A relevant alternative would be Aldkin with
Field of Languish, which would reduce damage taken on each
Rushing Claw cast — a swap worth considering for very hostile content such as Torment 12+.
Paragon and Glyphs
The build's Paragon boards rely on five carefully arranged boards around Resolve, poison, and ailment damage mechanics. The starting board houses the
Menagerist glyph (rank 150), which amplifies damage based on nearby spirit skills — ideal for a Spiritborn alternating between Gorilla and Eagle. The second board,
Prodigy's Tempo, carries the
Consumption glyph (rank 150) and is the central piece of the entire cooldown loop: this is where the three consecutive cast rule resides, reducing all cooldowns by 30% and making
Rushing Claw dashes nearly infinite.
The third board,
Drive, carries the Cunning glyph (rank 150), which exploits surrounding Dexterity to amplify Critical Strike Damage — consistent with the priority placed on Dexterity across all gear. The fourth board,
Convergence, features the
Colossal glyph (rank 150), focused on maximizing raw damage when the Gorilla's Barrier is active, which is the case permanently in this build. Finally, the fifth board
Viscous Shield is paired with the
Scourge glyph (rank 150), which reinforces ailment and poison damage — the core of this build's damage system.
The nodes to prioritize around each glyph are those that increase poison damage, damage over time, and Vulnerable damage. Dexterity is the primary stat: every core stat node should be allocated to it as much as possible. Mercenary Raheir completes the picture with
Ground Slam and
Bastion skills, providing a solid damage bonus during boss phases and an additional layer of survivability through the
Bastion mechanic.
600 % Damage Bug (Zik + Buc Runes) — Pit push variant
The main build presented above is the Instant Explosion variant, optimized for general farming, Infernal Hordes, Nightmare Dungeons, and all content through Torment 12 — the
Instant Kill upgrade of
The Devourer triggers an execution as soon as an enemy dies from poison.
There is also a variant known as x600% DMG (Bugged) designed exclusively for Pit pushing. It relies on an unintentional interaction between the Zik rune (triggering
Concussive Stomp on cooldown cast) and the Bucrani's Grip rune (movement trigger). When
Concussive Stomp is summoned through this rune chain, its Crushing Blow upgrade applies its 500 to 600% bonus to all Spiritborn skills simultaneously, not only to
Concussive Stomp. Concretely,
Rushing Claw and
The Devourer also benefit from the multiplier.
To activate the variant, simply add
Concussive Stomp to the skill bar (rank 1 is sufficient) and socket the Zik + Bucrani's Grip runes on compatible gear. Since this is unintended behavior, this interaction may be fixed at any patch — using it for pushing therefore carries season-long risk.
