Build Overview
The Adonia’s Trifusion Stormweaver is a caster build for the Sorceress designed for Season 0.5, created by OperatorOtter. It is one of the most complex — and most rewarding — builds of the moment, built around a true chain-reaction engine called « Trifusion. » The idea: run three different elemental spells, each consuming an infusion of a distinct element.
Spark consumes cold infusions,
Arc consumes lightning infusions, and
Comet consumes fire infusions. Hence the name Trifusion.
The core mechanic revolves around freeze. We use
Spark to freeze and critically hit enemies, which triggers our two meta-gems: Cast on Elemental Ailment (which casts
Arc) and
Cast on Critical (which rains down
Comet).
Pinnacle of Power allows all our elemental damage to simultaneously inflict ignite,
Shock and
Freeze, which constantly feeds infusion generation through
Siphon Elements. The result is a self-sustaining engine where every spell cast is infused, and mana regeneration becomes so powerful that at the final stage, mana barely moves despite around fifteen spells being triggered per second.
In terms of performance, the build handles all content in the game: juiced maps at 200 % delirium all the way to bosses with 120 million health points. Some community players reach
Spark at 2.6 million DPS — and
Spark represents only 20 % of total damage. The best part: the initial investment is ridiculously low (around ten divine orbs are enough to chain T15 6-mod maps), thanks in particular to the Adorned Ego Siphoning Wand, a wand at around 3 divine orbs that outperforms weapons worth over 500 divine orbs.
Strengths / Weaknesses
✅ Strengths
- Near-unlimited scaling:
Spark at 2.6 million DPS, while
Spark accounts for only 20 % of total damage. - Very low entry cost: around ten divine orbs are enough to comfortably clear T15 6-mod maps.
- Versatile across all content: juiced Mapping at 200 % Delirium as well as Bossing on targets with 120 million HP.
- Non-repetitive hybrid gameplay: alternates between multi-spell « piano » mode and single-button mode depending on the situation.
- Perpetual mana engine: the mana bar barely moves, which makes
keystone Mind Over Matter viable at the Giga stage. - Active community: a Discord of over 1 100 members dedicated to this build for min-maxing.
❌ Weaknesses
- Extremely complex: the Trifusion engine requires time and reading to master.
- Sensitive to tuning mistakes: a poorly thought-out adjustment can ruin the gameplay experience.
- High skill ceiling: the learning curve is steeper than average.
- Entirely freeze-dependent: if your targets are not frozen, the entire engine falls apart.

Four items are enough to get the build running. Beyond that, gear is built up progressively, variant by variant, all the way to the chase items of the Giga stage.
- Adorned Ego Siphoning Wand: the cornerstone item. For around 3 divine orbs, it outperforms wands worth 500+ divine orbs and fuels the engine’s charge generation.
- Sceptre (194+ spirit): you need to reach a total of 294 spirit to run all the build’s reservations, spread across the sceptre, amulet, body armour, and jewels.
- Choir of the Storm: required unique item from the very start to sustain the lightning engine.
- Maligaro’s Virtuosity: required unique item that boosts critical strike damage.
- Mnemonic Rings: these new rings provide the mana cost efficiency essential at the Giga stage. Very expensive (from 1 500 divine orbs up to mirror-tier pieces).
- Key Jewels: jewel unique Against the Darkness (spirit),
jewel unique From Nothing and
keystone Eldritch Battery at the Mid stage, then Timeless Sapphire and Heart of the World at the Late stage.
Gameplay Tips
- Prioritize freezing: everything relies on
Spark in cold infusion. Without freeze, the entire engine stops. This is rule number one. - Aim for 294 spirit: this is the build’s operating threshold, spread across the sceptre, amulet, body armour, and jewels.
- Follow the variant progression: Starter first, then Mid (with
jewel unique From Nothing and
keystone Eldritch Battery), then Late (with Timeless Sapphire), and finally Giga. - Learn your rotations: the build alternates between multi-spell « piano » phases and single-button phases depending on the situation.
- At the Giga stage, take Mind over Matter: mana regeneration is so strong that the mana bar effectively becomes an extra life pool.
- Join the community: OperatorOtter’s Discord (1 100+ members) is the best resource for min-maxing the build.
The Trifusion Engine Explained
The build’s entire power lies in a chain reaction loop.
Spark is our main spell: with cold infusion, it freezes enemies. That freeze is non-negotiable — it’s what kicks off the entire machine. When a target is frozen, we generate a large amount of energy for Cast on Elemental Ailment, which then triggers
Arc.
Arc consumes the lightning infusion to deal three times more damage and amplify
Shock. Paired with Sione’s Temper, it literally « explodes » the screen by firing eight
Arc simultaneously, which is enough to clear all white mobs. For rares, magic enemies, and tougher bosses,
Cast on Critical takes over: every critical hit from
Spark generates energy that rains down
Comet, renowned for their massive damage — especially with fire infusion. We add
Spell Cascade and Vaal
Arc to secure the kill.
Pinnacle of Power: the trigger for all ailments
The pillar that ties everything together is
Pinnacle of Power. By generating charges through infusions (via a passive), we consume power charges that grant
Pinnacle of Power. Under this effect, all of our elemental damage can inflict ignite,
Shock and
Freeze, regardless of the spell’s original element.
In practice, when
Comet fall,
Arc fire, and
Spark fly, we apply all three elemental ailments to everything, all at once. This sends
Siphon Elements into overdrive, producing infusions endlessly. The direct consequence: every triggered spell stays permanently infused, and the loop never stops.
The perpetual mana engine: Siphon Elements and remnants
The subtle point is that infusions count as remnants. With
notable Arcane Remnants, picking them up restores our mana. On top of that, we add
Mana Remnants: when we critically strike an enemy affected by an elemental ailment — which is everyone, in our case — we produce a mana remnant. At full mana, that remnant causes our mana to overflow by 50 %, which, combined with
notable Arcane Intensity, translates into a huge spell damage bonus.
Combined with the mana cost efficiency from mnemonic rings and Mana Remnants, these mechanics create a perpetual engine. At the Giga tier, mana regeneration is so high that the bar barely moves even when triggering around fifteen spells per second. This is precisely what makes
keystone Mind Over Matter viable: mana becomes a second life pool.
Progression: from Starter to Giga
The build is constructed in four tiers, each unlocked by key pieces. The Starter costs around ten divine orbs and already lets you farm T15 6-mod maps: all you need is the Adorned Ego Siphoning Wand, a total of 294 spirit,
Choir of the Storm, and Maligaro’s Virtuosity.
The Mid tier introduces
jewel unique From Nothing and
keystone Eldritch Battery — two allocations that online planners cannot display correctly, which is why following the dedicated resource sheet is necessary. The Late tier adds the Timeless Sapphire and precise jewel rolls. Finally, the Giga tier aims for perfection: each upgrade then costs between 200 and 600 divine orbs, with mnemonic rings potentially reaching mirror price. Expect around two mirrors for a fully complete character — keeping in mind that most pieces are significantly cheaper to craft than to buy.
The Overcharge + Commiserate combo
To push
Shock to its maximum, the build relies on the
Overcharge +
Commiserate combo. Note: a display bug in the interface causes
Commiserate to show the wrong multiplication value on the
Shock from
Spark — but the combo does work correctly and has been rigorously tested. In practice, it turns a meager Shock value of 20 % into a comfortable 150 %, which multiplies the damage of the entire elemental chain.
