Thursday, October 15, 8 pm in Paris (11 am PDT): the Play-In opens League of Legends Worlds 2026 in Los Angeles. The tournament lasts a month, moves through Texas and ends on November 14 in Brooklyn. Karmine Corp plays its very first Worlds, having qualified on September 5 in Madrid.
Below you will find the schedule converted to Paris time with the original US local times, the channels to follow the matches, how the Swiss format works and the list of the 19 teams. The slogan of this tournament is « This is our moment », printed on the official visual.
League of Legends Worlds 2026 schedule in Paris time
GosuGamers lists the dates, cities and start times of the matches. The table converts them to Paris time and adds the US local time.
| Dates | Stage | Venue | Start in Paris time (indicative), US local time in brackets |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 15-18 | Play-In: 4 teams, best-of-five, double elimination | Riot Games Arena, Los Angeles | 8 pm (11 am PDT) |
| October 23-31 | Swiss stage: 16 teams | Credit Union of Texas Event Center, Allen (Texas) | 7 pm and 10 pm until October 24, then 6 pm and 9 pm from the 25th (12 pm and 3 pm CDT throughout) |
| November 3-8 | Quarterfinals and semifinals, best-of-five | Allen (Texas) | 11 pm (4 pm CST) |
| November 14 | Final | Barclays Center, Brooklyn (New York) | 8 pm (2 pm EST) |
Two clock changes muddy the maths. France moves to winter time on Sunday, October 25, the United States on November 1. From October 25 to 31, the gap with Texas therefore drops to six hours instead of seven, and the Swiss stage starts an hour earlier in Paris than the week before. In US local time nothing moves: it stays at 12 pm and 3 pm CDT. In November, Texas is seven hours behind Paris and New York six.
These times are indicative. They come from a single source, and Riot can move a day. Check the schedule on lolesports.com before you block out an evening.
Riot arrives at these Worlds in a busy period: the studio is ending active development of 2XKO at the end of December 2026, and our article on the League of Legends MMO covers the leak of a playtest that is already playable.
Where to watch League of Legends Worlds 2026
Riot streams the tournament for free. GosuGamers names five official Twitch channels: riotgames, ltasul, ltaespanol, lolesportstw and leagueoflegendsjp. Subscribers get emotes, badges and ad-free viewing. RFT.GG adds the LoL Esports YouTube channel and Riot-approved co-streams, meaning the same match commentated by a content creator.

None of these sources names a French-language channel or co-stream, and RFT.GG does not list the approved co-streams, so I can’t promise you one. The post above links to the official guide on lolesports.com: check the commentary language there.
Riot’s Pick’Em (its prediction game) is played on lolesports.com/pickems or in the game client. According to GosuGamers, picks lock before each stage begins.
The Swiss format, without the jargon
Four teams contest the Play-In in best-of-five series (first to three games), with double elimination: a team is out only after its second loss. Simple arithmetic gives the rest: 15 teams go straight to the Swiss stage, and the Play-In supplies a sixteenth.
The Swiss stage therefore pits 16 teams against each other over five rounds at most. LoL Theory sums up the rule: each round pairs teams with the same record (1-0 against 1-0, 1-1 against 1-1), and no two teams meet twice. Three wins qualify. Three losses eliminate.
Matches with no qualification or elimination at stake are best-of-one. Those that can qualify or eliminate a team are best-of-three. Two losses can be recovered from; the third closes the door.
The eight qualified teams then enter a single-elimination bracket: quarterfinals, semifinals and the final, all best-of-five. There is no third-place match. The two semifinal losers finish tied.
The 19 teams of League of Legends Worlds 2026, league by league
GosuGamers and esports.gg publish the same list. Teams are ordered here by their seeding within their league.
| League | Teams |
|---|---|
| LCK (South Korea) | Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, Dplus KIA |
| LPL (China) | Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, Top Esports, Shanghai Invictus Gaming |
| LEC (Europe) | G2 Esports, Movistar KOI, Karmine Corp |
| LCS (North America) | Team Liquid Alienware, LYON, Cloud9 KIA |
| LCP (Asia-Pacific) | Team Secret Whales, CTBC Flying Oyster, MVK Esports |
| CBLOL (Brazil) | LOS, FURIA Esports (order to be confirmed) |
The total is indeed 19. Both Brazilian teams have a place, but their seeding depends on the CBLOL 2026 Split 2 final, scheduled for October 10. GosuGamers flags this in the introduction to its list.

Eight of the nineteen teams come from South Korea and China. For Karmine Corp, that makes eight possible opponents out of eighteen. The sources publish no predictions, and I offer none.
One point to watch on the Chinese side: esports.gg reports that Top Esports’ toplaner, ZUIAN, did not yet have his US visa. His team has named 369 as a temporary replacement.
Karmine Corp at League of Legends Worlds 2026: three wins to aim for
On September 5, 2026, in Madrid, Karmine Corp beat GIANTX 3-1 and dropped only the second game, according to Sheep Esports. That win opens the first Worlds in the club’s history. It represents the LEC as third seed, behind G2 Esports (first) and Movistar KOI (second).

The target fits in one number: three wins in the Swiss stage. The club’s schedule depends on the draw. The pages I read do not say whether it starts in the Play-In or goes straight to the Swiss stage, so check lolesports.com.
If it advances, its first best-of-five would land in Allen between November 3 and 8, around 11 pm in Paris (4 pm CST). The Swiss stage itself starts on October 23: 7 pm or 10 pm in France depending on the slot (12 pm or 3 pm CDT).
