WoW Forever Tier List
The best DPS and tank specs, ranked by simulation · October 28, 2026 · checked on October 29, 2026
What is the best DPS class in WoW Forever? According to MythicSim’s simulations of October 28, 2026, it is Survival Hunter (1,241 DPS), ahead of Demonology Warlock (993 DPS, 80% of the leader) and Fury Warrior (983 DPS, 79%). Among tanks, Guardian Druid tops the standard specs with 1,634 threat per second (TPS), ahead of Protection Warrior. Tanks are ranked by threat, the measure of how well they hold enemies; survivability is not measured. This WoW Forever tier list ranks 24 DPS specs and 6 tanks from S to C; every standard spec links to our build guide, and experimental hybrids open the talent calculator.

Healers
No healer ranking yet
MythicSim does not simulate healing yet, so there is no reliable healer ranking to show. Until it does, here are our build pages for the five healing specs:
WoW Forever tier list: frequently asked questions
Which DPS spec is the best in WoW Forever?
Survival Hunter leads the simulation with 1,241 DPS: 25% more than Demonology Warlock and 26% more than Fury Warrior. The gap is clear, but it holds for a 2-minute fight against a single target; on several targets or a longer fight the order can move.
Which tank is the best in WoW Forever?
Among standard specs, threat per second (TPS) ranks them: Guardian Druid (1,634 TPS, 572 DPS), Protection Warrior (1,402 TPS, 624 DPS), Protection Paladin (1,099 TPS, 663 DPS). Threat measures how well a tank holds enemies on itself; survivability is not measured, so this says who holds aggro best, not who takes hits best.
Why is there no healer ranking?
MythicSim does not simulate healing yet, so no reliable figure exists to rank healers, and we chose not to invent one. The Healers tab links to our build pages for the five healing specs: Restoration Druid, Holy Paladin, Discipline Priest, Holy Priest, Restoration Shaman.
How is the ranking made?
The ranking reuses MythicSim’s simulations: each spec plays 10,000 times a 2-minute fight against one target, in dungeon and crafted gear with the best trinket pair for the spec. Tiers follow the median: S is at least 20% above it, A above it, B up to 15% below it, C lower still.
How often is the tier list updated?
The ranking on the page is the snapshot of October 28, 2026. The game is in beta, so each patch can change talents and therefore the figures. The page is replaced when MythicSim publishes new results; the date shown always matches the snapshot displayed.
Where can I find the build guide for my spec?
Each standard spec in the ranking opens our build page, with its talent tree. All the guides are gathered on the WoW Forever hub. Experimental hybrids have no build page yet: they open our talent calculator, pre-filled with the simulator’s build.
