Since August, Cyberleek has been drip-feeding GTA 6 videos. On October 8, he stepped things up: about 25 minutes of gameplay from a development build, with a camera Rockstar has never shown. This GTA 6 leak raises a simple question: does the first-person view cover the whole game, or just a few prepared sequences? The game is due on November 19, 2026.
A warning before the details: the video is not linked here, and no hint will tell you where to find it. It contains story spoilers, and its content is that of an internal build, not the finished game.
What the 25-Minute GTA 6 Leak Shows
According to Push Square, the clip shows Jason driving several vehicles in first person, then getting out of the car and continuing on foot, still from that perspective. VideoCardz also describes vehicle customization followed by a street race, car chases and scenes with Jason and Lucia.
RockstarINTEL and Notebookcheck add a motocross race at the Thrillbilly Mud Club. Several of these outlets also flag nudity, including Jason’s. It changes nothing about the camera debate, but it explains why the video is spreading so widely.

A Known Leaker, an Unfinished Build
Cyberleek is no stranger. He had already shared footage before Netflix published the official Extended Look, according to Push Square. His career has taken a commercial turn: the site has already covered the sale of his cryptocurrency, then the sale of ad space around his videos.
The technical point matters more than the person. This is a development build. A studio tests cameras, animations and modes there that don’t all survive to the final disc. The fact is established: this camera exists in a build. The deduction stops there. Nothing proves this camera will ship in the final game.
What Rockstar Has Already Said About the Camera
In August, Rockstar invited content creators to Rockstar North in Edinburgh. According to Dexerto, Rob Nelson, the studio’s co-director, explained there that the game would not have a full first-person mode, as the team focused its work on third-person animations. First-person view would remain available when aiming certain weapons.
Brazilian YouTuber Davy Jones reports the phrase « primarily built around a third-person camera perspective ». Spanish creator Elrubius, for his part, mentions a mode that is « not yet implemented ». These statements come from creators, not a press release: Rockstar has published nothing on the subject.

Full View or Scripted Sequences: What the Build Lets Us Say
Three readings of this GTA 6 leak hold up. The first: the first-person view is a full mode, set aside for launch. The leak would then show free play, with driving and walking. The second: Rockstar designed it for specific moments, and the build chains them together. The third: a team prototype, since abandoned.
One clue favors the first: you drive, get out and walk, with no visible cut. Another works against it: the build also contains cutscenes and missions, so a 25-minute clip can mix everything. An internal build doesn’t tell you what will ship.
A cautious position: the full view is technically possible, since it runs. It is neither announced nor promised. The precedent of GTA 5, which arrived without a first-person mode in 2013 and got one more than a year later on PS4 and Xbox One, leaves a door open after release.

What Remains to Be Verified Before November 19
Three points are still missing from the GTA 6 leak. Rockstar had not reacted to the video by the time the media relayed it. Nobody has authenticated the build, so the capture date is unknown. And nobody knows whether the nudity, widely discussed, will survive the final rating.
Technology also weighs in. A first-person camera across the whole map costs memory and processing time, especially as GTA 6 targets 30 frames per second on consoles. Rockstar polishes its communication even in LOVE magazine, but has not said a word about its camera. On November 19, the question will be settled in the options menu.
