The Twitch Drops WoW Forever campaign ends on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 4:30 pm Pacific time (1:30 am on Friday, November 13, Paris time). Until then, four hours spent watching eligible World of Warcraft streams earn you the Pouch of Violet Dust, a toy that turns your campfire flames purple.

The toy only lasts as long as the Launch Celebration: it leaves your collection in December. Everything below comes from the official Blizzard page, published with the WoW Weekly of November 6, which also introduces Taldramir, the first legendary of the game.

A pouch that extends your campfire by an hour

According to Blizzard, the pouch turns the flames of a campfire purple and adds one hour to all of its benefits, for two hours in total. The effect is shared: once activated, every character resting around the fire gets the same extension.

The toy exists only in WoW Forever. Blizzard states that it is unavailable in the World of Warcraft Classic games and in the modern version of the game, and that it requires a subscription or active game time. If you have neither, our article on the invite codes explains the free week.

The launch event expires in “early December”. Blizzard gives no exact day: past that date, the toy disappears from every player’s collection.

The dates, in Paris time

Blizzard gives its times in Pacific time, and the table below converts them to Paris time. The two columns match. As of Saturday, November 7, less than six days remain.

Twitch Drops WoW Forever: the pouch in five steps

  1. Link your Battle.net account to Twitch at account.battle.net/connections. Changing the password or settings on either account forces you to link them again, and a 7-day delay applies before you can link another one.
  2. Open a stream in the World of Warcraft category with Drops enabled. According to Blizzard Watch, these channels display “Drops Enabled” next to the categories.
  3. Accumulate 4 hours of watch time, in a PC or Mac browser, or in the Twitch app on Android and iOS. Consoles and smart TVs do not count. Switching channels does not reset your progress, but watching two channels at once does not speed anything up.
  4. Claim the drop, meaning the reward: through the message that appears in the stream chat, or from your Twitch Drops inventory. A reward claimed without a linked Battle.net account expires after 7 days.
  5. Log in to Battle.net in the region where you want to receive it: the first region you log in to gets the item, up to 24 hours after the claim.

These Twitch Drops WoW Forever are open to Europe, according to Blizzard’s list of regions. The FAQ on the same page also mentions rewards on YouTube, for those who follow a broadcast of the official channel with a linked account; the 4-hour campaign itself is described for Twitch.

A Discord quest on the side

A single unofficial source, which we could not cross-check, mentions a Discord quest tied to WoW Forever: playing for 15 minutes with the Discord client open earns 700 Orbs (Discord’s virtual currency), or 840 with Nitro (the paid subscription). You have to accept it first, under Direct Messages and then Quests. It would end on November 19. Its availability in France is not confirmed: it shows up, or not, in your own app.
