ENDGAME | PIT PUSH DRUIDE
Build Overview
The Druid
Stone Burst Companion build, popularized by @NeverMind, stands as one of the most powerful builds in Season 13 — Vessel of Hatred. Capable of reaching 454 trillion damage and clearing the Pit at level 325, this build leverages the unique synergy between
Stone Burst channeling and the wolf pack to multiply damage to astronomical levels.
The principle is simple yet devastatingly effective: you channel
Stone Burst continuously while your wolves summoned through
Wolves stack tens of millions of independent damage hits. The mythic helmet Heir of Perdition amplifies all your skills and drastically reduces cooldowns, while Storm's Companion keeps
Grizzly Rage active permanently thanks to its built-in cooldown reduction.
Offensive buffs are provided by
War Cry and
Debilitating Roar, which weaken enemies to maximize wolf output. Cyclone Armor provides an additional layer of survivability. The Gift of the Stack Boon is the key multiplier that pushes this build into S-Tier territory. NeverMind does note the absence of a Druid armory in S13, a shortcoming he hopes Blizzard will address soon.

Recommended Gear
Loot Table
The mythic helmet Heir of Perdition is the absolute centerpiece of this build. It amplifies all your skills, significantly reduces cooldowns, and inflates your maximum life — an unbeatable combination that justifies crafting it as the top absolute priority. The runes
Nagu and
Ceh are socketed in it to trigger additional effects.
The unique pants Storm's Companion are the other indispensable piece of the build. They drastically reduce the cooldown of
Grizzly Rage, allowing you to maintain this rage almost permanently and therefore keep the damage buffs from your wolves active continuously. Two Sapphires in the gem sockets optimize resistance.
The unique boots Flickerstep exploit every evade to amplify the build. Their synergy with Evade is particularly valuable for maintaining mobility while generating resources. The Greater Affix Willpower is the priority on this piece.
The unique ring Accord of the Wilds directly boosts your animal companions. NeverMind describes it as the "best ring in the build," notably thanks to its natural synergy with Willpower and critical strike damage. The Topaz gem secures resources.
The second ring carries the
Aspect of the Stampede, which massively amplifies your wolves' damage on every proc — a critical multiplier for reaching the extreme damage numbers seen at Pit 325. Ruby to maximize life damage.
The amulet is equipped with the
Aspect of Reanimation, which keeps your wolves alive even against the toughest Bosses. Greater Affixes target lightning damage multipliers and critical strike damage. The Sapphire improves overall resistance.
The chest carries the
Aspect of Anger Management in the
Stone Burst variant, paired with the runes
Igni and
Que. The gloves receive the Hellbent Commander Aspect, which directly amplifies the damage of all your companions. The weapon carries the
Shepherd's Aspect, ideal for buffing wolves, with two Topaz for resource generation.
The Charm Might of the Ursine is mentioned by NeverMind as particularly effective for this build, further reinforcing the bear/wolf synergy of the entire kit.
Horadric Seal S13
The Horadric Seal for this build is configured around Old Mountain (Song of the Old Mountain), the talisman that activates and amplifies seasonal effects in synergy with the Earth Set. It provides an essential damage multiplier for pushing the Pit to level 325 and beyond.
Gameplay Tips
The basic rotation revolves around permanently channeling
Stone Burst. Position yourself at the center of enemy packs and maintain the channeling — your wolves will do the rest. Before engaging a dense pack, activate
War Cry for the damage buff, then
Debilitating Roar to weaken targets. These two skills are your main offensive amplifiers and should never be overlooked.
Cyclone Armor is your passive defensive layer — make sure it stays active at all times, particularly during Boss fights in the Pit. Under heavy pressure, use Resilient Rage to absorb damage spikes.
Managing Evades with Flickerstep is paramount: each evade generates resources and procs effects. Do not hesitate to evade frequently even when you are not in immediate danger — the uptime of Flickerstep effects is directly tied to your overall DPS output.
Regarding
Aspect of Anger Management: NeverMind notes that this aspect can cause resource management issues in certain situations. Monitor your Spirit during long channeling sessions and adapt your Evade rhythm accordingly. The Gift of the Stack Boon is your main multiplier — make sure charges are properly stacked before engaging major Pit Bosses.
Skill Tree
Mercenary S13
Raheir is the recommended primary mercenary for this build. His
Shield Charge immobilizes Bosses and elites in the Pit, providing a critical damage window during which your wolves can stack millions of damage hits. His
Provoke skill generates aggro, allowing you to channel
Stone Burst without interrupting your rotation.
As reinforcement, use a secondary mercenary with additional crowd control abilities for the most demanding content such as high Pit tiers. The Shield Charge + active wolves combination forms a formidable damage/control duo that NeverMind uses to reach extreme Pit levels.
Paragon
The paragon board for this build relies on five carefully selected boards to maximize wolf damage and
Stone Burst output. The starting board is equipped with the
Keeper glyph (rank 100), which amplifies companion damage and forms the offensive foundation of the build. The Untamed board carries the
Wilds glyph (rank 100), key for boosting the raw damage of Druid skills during sustained combat.
The Thunderstruck board hosts
Earth and Sky (rank 100), optimized for lightning damage multipliers that apply to
Stone Burst and the wolves. Heightened Malice receives the
Spirit glyph (rank 100), which amplifies the generation and usage of Spirit — a critical resource for maintaining continuous channeling. Finally, the Lust for Carnage board carries
Werebear (rank 100), a direct multiplier for bear/companion damage.
Important note: NeverMind reports that the Loss of Carnage glyph is broken in Season 13 and does not function correctly. This glyph should not be used in the current setup — the build above accounts for this and works around the bug via the five glyphs listed.
