ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM SORCIERE
Build Overview
This variant of the Sorceress Chain Lightning build pushes the electric archetype to a level of pure madness: between 50 and 100 trillion damage per
Unstable Currents cycle, and most importantly, near-total immortality thanks to permanent uptime on
Flame Shield and
Ice Armor. This is the ideal version of the build for players who want to farm Torment 12 without ever dying, while clearing Pit 125 effortlessly — and with the right gear, all the way up to Pit 150.
The immortality engine relies on three interlocking pillars: the Aspect of Elemental Attunement which reduces the cooldown of defensive skills via lucky hits, the Endurance Faith unique charm which spreads any potentially lethal damage over 4 seconds, and the massive volume of hits emitted by Chain Lightning and
Charged Bolts (35% and 28% lucky hit chance respectively). The result:
Flame Shield is rebooted in a loop, and even Bosses like Torment 12 Mephisto become trivial because they no longer have any window to hit you.
On the offensive side, the build benefits from a rare combination:
Armageddon on a two-handed staff which grants 450% permanent damage during
Inferno,
Aspect of Overwhelming Currents which stacks a 3% buff per critical hit (up to 250-300 stacks per cycle), and Axial Conduit which multiplies the outgoing Chain Lightnings. Synergy with the Tal Rasha Threefold set adds another 200% lightning damage on top.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Near-total immortality thanks to the permanent
Flame Shield + Endurance Faith combo - Massive damage: 50 to 100 trillion per cycle, capable of pushing all the way to Pit 150
- Ultimate mobility via constant
Teleport reset by Overpower stacks - Relatively simple to play: spam Chain Lightning and
Flame Shield - Excellent against Bosses: no mechanic can kill you while immortality is active
Cons
- Requires significant gear investment to reach immortality (Mythics + good aspects)
- Dependent on Endurance Faith which requires gambling ancestral gloves at the cube
- If
Boundless or
Unstable Currents get nerfed, the build loses its power - Requires re-rolling charms at the cube to obtain +3 ranks to lightning skills everywhere
- Less flexible: hardly transposable to fire or frost variants (huge gap with lightning)
Recommended Gear
Loot Table
The offensive cornerstone is the two-handed staff with
Armageddon, which provides a permanent 450% damage boost during
Inferno — non-negotiable for this build. The amulet uses
Aspect of Elemental Constellation with a cube imprint that makes enemies vulnerable via Conjuration skills: this combination adds about 180% extra damage thanks to the 2 fire / 2 frost / 2 lightning setup.
On the gloves,
Aspect of Overwhelming Currents turns each crit into a 3% cumulative damage stack. With the volume of crits generated by Chain Lightning and
Charged Bolts, you regularly reach 250 to 300 stacks during the
Unstable Currents window. For the rings,
Ring of Starless Skies is mandatory in the first slot, and the second carries the Aspect of Elemental Attunement — the key that makes
Flame Shield nearly infinite.
On the legs, Axial Conduit remains the offensive pillar of the build: it allows Chain Lightning to fire multiple instances simultaneously. On the boots, choose between Aspect of Instability (chance to stun with lightning damage, excellent for staggering Bosses and triggering more
Charged Bolts) or an aspect with lucky hit chance against elites to power the immortality engine.
For Mythics, this build favors
Heir of Perdition on the head over the
Harlequin Crest: thanks to the many ranks of
Unstable Currents obtained via charms, the infinite cooldown from the Crest is no longer needed. Heir provides 80% multiplicative damage and a huge amount of crit chance. Tyrael's Might on the chest offers excellent passive survival between hits; without a Mythic, Raiment of the Infinite is the alternative for grouping enemies. If you don't have Heir, keep the
Harlequin Crest or use a
Godslayer Crown with a defensive aspect.
For the amulet, the priority Greater Affixes are ranks to lightning skills and ranks to all skills (up to 7 extra points on
Unstable Currents), accompanied by Intelligence and critical strike damage multiplier. On the gloves: Intelligence, vulnerable damage multiplier, critical strike damage multiplier, plus a third offensive affix (crit chance, all damage multiplier, lightning damage multiplier or attack speed). For Tempering, target critical strike damage on the staff, vulnerable damage on the rings/amulet/gloves, and movement speed on the boots. On armor pieces, prioritize maximum life or armor for survival. For Masterworking, hit critical strike damage multiplier everywhere — except on the amulet where you target ranks to lightning skills or ranks to all skills.
For occult gems, place Intelligence in armor, and a lightning damage multiplier in the staff. In the jewelry, use your three lowest resistances, one gem per slot. On the Runes side, Maintain + One Summon gives +1 to all skills (3 extra ranks on
Unstable Currents) and a crit chance boost to push above 90%.
Horadric Seal S13
The talisman uses the three charms from the Tal Rasha Threefold set which offers 200% extra lightning damage, a stack of resistances, and triggers a
Meteor that generates the Overpower needed to reset
Teleport via
Blaze. The fourth slot is dedicated to the Endurance Faith unique charm which completes the Exodia immortality combo: any potentially lethal damage is now spread over 4 seconds, leaving plenty of time for
Flame Shield to come back.
Farming tip: to get Endurance Faith quickly, use the cube to gamble ancestral gloves until you hit it, then convert them into a charm. For the set charms, re-roll each charm at the cube until you obtain +3 ranks to lightning skills — it's faster than waiting for a native drop.
Gameplay Tips
The gameplay boils down to three simple reflexes. First, keep
Ice Armor active permanently: the green bar above the skill icon should always be visible. Second, mash
Flame Shield as soon as it comes off cooldown — thanks to Aspect of Elemental Attunement, it returns almost instantly each cycle. Third, trigger
Unstable Currents before each pack, then hold down the Chain Lightning button.
For enchantments, Chain Lightning in the first slot (extra Chain Lightning cast) and
Charged Bolts in the second (releases bolts from stunned enemies — massive synergy with
Lightning Spear which provides the stun).
Hydra is on the bar only to check the "frost skill" box of the 2/2/2 setup — don't spend a point on its cooldown reduction.
Regarding
Teleport, the
Blaze upgrade enables reset via Overpower stacks (generated by
Meteor from the Tal Rasha Threefold set). This mechanism powers the infinite mobility: you teleport from pack to pack without ever waiting. If you exhaust your Overpower stacks, lucky hits will still end up resetting the cooldown.
Talent Tree
The tree is built around two main engines: Chain Lightning 15/15 (with Additional Chain,
Critical Strike Chance, and Power Flux) and
Unstable Currents 15/15 (with
Fierce, damage bonus, and the unmissable
Boundless).
Charged Bolts receives the damage bonus, the movement speed bonus, and
Surging Charge to serve as a pool dump and secondary generator.
On the defensive side,
Ice Armor 12/15 receives the cooldown reduction, the duration bonus, and
Permafrost — calibrate the exact rank to reach 99% maximum absorption (anything beyond is wasted).
Flame Shield takes the cooldown reduction and the duration bonus, with Burn or Phoenix interchangeably.
Hydra just gets Frigid Hydra to check the frost box.
For utilities,
Lightning Spear takes
Projectile Speed and
Reverse Polarity to stun enemies.
Ball Lightning picks up
Fierce and
Orbital to stay near the player.
Firewall receives the damage bonus and
Grounding to convert it into a lightning skill.
Meteor just gets
Overpower.
Mercenary S13
The main mercenary is Subo with his Opening Fire skill in focus — it's the best source of auxiliary damage for this setup. His ability to chain shots synergizes perfectly with lucky hits and indirectly powers the immortality engine.
For backup, take Varyana for the 10% attack speed she provides — much more useful than the additional defense of Raheir since the Endurance Faith +
Flame Shield combo already handles all survival. Attack speed accelerates the Chain Lightning rotation and the volume of lucky hits.
Paragon
The Paragon path starts on the
Paragon Starting Node board where you cross
Elementalist and
Resilience before activating the
Exploit glyph at the dedicated slot, grabbing as much Dexterity as possible to power it up. Then go through Elemental Balance and Studied.
The second board is
Static Surge, where you head straight to the glyph slot to activate
Tactician, picking up
Electro and Incapacitate along the way. Exit the board via the legendary node and
Blessing.
Next comes
Enchantment Master: activate the eponymous legendary node before reaching the glyph slot through Ruinous and Toughened, plus Elemental Balance. At the slot, activate
Eliminator and grab Tactical nearby. The next route crosses
Resilience to reach the fourth board.
The fourth board is
Frigid Fate, oriented so that Oppressive sits at the top right. Head straight to the glyph slot to activate
Elementalist, scooping up
Elemental Favor and Weakness II. Then loop around to reach the legendary node
Frigid Fate and Oppressive for vulnerable damage.
Final board:
Ceaseless Conduit. Loop around to activate the
Ceaseless Conduit legendary node via
Conduit, then go down to the glyph slot to activate
Destruction while grabbing every bit of Dexterity in the area. It's the most rewarding board of the build for the end of the path.
The Exodia Immortality Combo
The central mechanism that makes this build immortal deserves to be detailed.
Flame Shield normally only lasts a few seconds with a long cooldown. The Aspect of Elemental Attunement changes the deal: 20% chance, on lucky hit, to reduce the cooldown of a defensive skill by up to 10 seconds. Since
Teleport is never on cooldown thanks to the
Blaze + Tal Rasha Threefold Overpower synergy, the only applicable targets are
Ice Armor (rarely used) and
Flame Shield.
With a massive volume of hits (35% lucky hit chance on Chain Lightning, 28% on
Charged Bolts),
Flame Shield is rebooted in a loop as soon as it expires. If there's ever a 0.2 to 0.5 second gap where the
Ward is down, Endurance Faith takes over: any damage that would have one-shot you is spread over 4 seconds, leaving plenty of time for
Flame Shield to come back. The combo is mathematically infallible.
Why Lightning Dominates in Season 13
The power gap between lightning and the fire/frost schools this season is massive, almost cartoonish.
Unstable Currents coupled with
Boundless allows for huge multiplicative damage scaling: 16.7% multiplicative and 0.67 seconds of cooldown refund per stack. By stacking the extra ranks of
Unstable Currents via the charms, the amulet, and the Runes, you reach durations of 46 seconds per activation, and with 120 Overpower stacks (very easy to generate), the cooldown is fully refunded.
Current fire and frost builds barely manage to exist at Torment 12 and to push past Pit 100. Hard to say if the gap will close before the end of the season, but as it stands, lightning is by far the most performant option. If
Boundless gets nerfed or capped, the entire pool of shock builds will be affected — that's a risk to keep in mind.

Points Forts
sinon super boulot continue 🙂
Orso
Salut ShinTaga, bienvenue !
@Kami, super, merci !
