ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM SORCIERE

Build Overview

Season 13 patch 3.0.2 made waves on the Sorceress side. Ball LightningBall Lightning accidentally lost its "core" tag, which temporarily strips it of bonuses from Ring of Starless SkiesRing of Starless Skies and Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition, while also breaking the synergy with Fractured WinterglassFractured Winterglass. A fix is on its way, but in the meantime, Chain Lightning steps up — and not by a little.

This immortal Chain Lightning build by @RageGamingVideos leverages the synergy between Axial ConduitAxial Conduit, the Aspect of Elemental Attunement, and massive Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation to achieve permanent zero-cooldown Flame ShieldFlame Shield and TeleportTeleport. The result: a Pit 130 speed-farm where dying becomes literally impossible — no support shield, no cooldown management, just a torrent of lightning erasing everything on screen.

This isn't a build that pushes Pit 150+, it's an absolute endgame experience build: comfortable, fast, indestructible. If you're chasing the "I delete the dungeon while walking" feeling, this is the right address.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Near-total immortality — Flame ShieldFlame Shield and TeleportTeleport without effective cooldown
  • Extremely comfortable Pit 130 speed-farm
  • Massive Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation via Ball LightningBall Lightning and Charged BoltsCharged Bolts
  • Not dependent on critical Greater Affixes to function
  • Incredible mobility with zero-cooldown TeleportTeleport

Weaknesses

  • Limited damage ceiling — not a Pit 150+ push build
  • Requires well-rolled Axial ConduitAxial Conduit to explode
  • Seasonal affixes and specific runes required for optimal results
  • Very repetitive gameplay (spam Chain Lightning + TeleportTeleport)

The Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition helm remains the centerpiece of the build for its massive crit chance and damage bonus. The current bug around skills tagged "core" doesn't prevent it from working fully on Chain Lightning, which keeps its core tag. If you don't have the mythic, Harlequin CrestHarlequin Crest is the survival/cooldown alternative, or a well-rolled Fractured WinterglassFractured Winterglass for the 3:1 conversion.

On the chest, Raiment of the InfiniteRaiment of the Infinite bunches enemies up so Chain Lightning ricochets at full force. Tyrael's MightTyrael's Might offers more survival but is useless when you're already immortal — better to maximize clear speed. The gloves carry the Aspect of Overwhelming CurrentsAspect of Overwhelming Currents, which stacks charges via Charged BoltsCharged Bolts and unlocks up to 500 damage charges in full action.

The PantsPants Axial ConduitAxial Conduit are mandatory — they turn every Chain Lightning into an additional lightning shower. The Esu's HeirloomEsu's Heirloom boots free up the crit chance slot on the staff, which we then replace with attack speed for more Chain Lightnings per second.

On the amulet, the Aspect of Elemental ConstellationAspect of Elemental Constellation provides the triple two-fire / two-frost / two-lightning bonus. The Aspect of ArmageddonAspect of Armageddon on the staff signs the irreplaceable 450% damage bonus. For the rings, the Ring of Starless SkiesRing of Starless Skies as the mythic remains a must, and the Aspect of Elemental Attunement on the second ring reduces defensive cooldowns by 10 seconds — that's what makes TeleportTeleport permanent.

Priority affixes on weapons: Intelligence, Critical Strike Damage, Maximum Life. On rings: Intelligence, Critical Strike Chance (or a damage multi if you already have Esu's HeirloomEsu's Heirloom), Critical Strike Damage multi, Vulnerable Damage multi. The amulet specifically demands Ranks to Shock Skills and Ranks to All Skills.

On tempering: Attack Speed on the staff, Vulnerable Damage on jewelry and gloves, Life on armor pieces, Movement Speed on boots. For masterworking, aim for Critical Strike Damage multis everywhere they exist except on the amulet (Ranks to Skills); Critical Strike Chance on the ring and helm.

For runes, five Ex runes give the "+1 to all Exhausted skills" effect, and the second set stays flexible — Druid's Bulwark Rune by default, but nothing critical. Gems are Lightning damage multi on rings, and the weakest resistance (or all-resistance if balanced) on the rest.

Horadric Seal S13

The Talisman revolves around the complete Threefold Way of Tal'Rasha set (5/5), with Linta of the Threefold, Phoba of the Threefold, Fer of the Threefold, Beru of the Threefold, and Mlor of the Threefold. The trick: use the Horadric Cube to reroll each charm until you get +3 to Shock Skills — which stacks 15 additional ranks onto Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents. That's the hidden optimization that takes the build from pleasant to devastating.

The sixth slot goes to Enduring Faith, which adds the final safety net: if Flame Shield ever takes half a second too long to come back, the extra barrier prevents any incident. It's the insurance piece that closes the immortal concept. The central seal stays flexible — a mythic seal with attack speed is a good choice since crit chance is already covered elsewhere.

Gameplay Tips

The gameplay pattern is dangerously simple. Activate Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents as soon as available and hold down the Chain Lightning button. Spam TeleportTeleport constantly for mobility — the cooldown resets constantly thanks to the Aspect of Elemental Attunement and OverpowerOverpower procs.

Activate Flame ShieldFlame Shield and Ice ArmorIce Armor as soon as they're back — since their cooldown is negligible, they remain near permanent. Collect the Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy forming around you to stack charges of the Aspect of Overwhelming CurrentsAspect of Overwhelming Currents up to several hundred.

HydraHydra is essentially a reactive empty slot: drop it between dungeons if you want to bring Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents back faster, but otherwise it stays a filler. Ball LightningBall Lightning, Lightning SpearLightning Spear, and FirewallFirewall are there for the passive bonuses and Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation via enchantments.

On enchantments: Chain Lightning in the first slot (essential), MeteorMeteor in the second for the Lucky Hit procs that keep infinite TeleportTeleport. You can swap MeteorMeteor for Lightning SpearLightning Spear or Ball LightningBall Lightning for more Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation — it's a matter of preference.

Talent Tree

The tree maximizes Chain Lightning at rank 15/15 with its damage bonus, critical strike chance, Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation, and Power FluxPower Flux. Charged BoltsCharged Bolts also receives points for the damage bonus via Surging Charge and movement speed — the goal is to send out as many lightnings as possible to stack the Aspect of Overwhelming CurrentsAspect of Overwhelming Currents.

Flame ShieldFlame Shield goes through cooldown reduction and duration, TeleportTeleport picks up WeakenWeaken, Crackling EnergyCrackling Energy generation, and BlazeBlaze for the OverpowerOverpower reset. Ice ArmorIce Armor inherits duration and Permafrost. HydraHydra in Frigid Hydra version stays filler. Finally, Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents at rank 15/15 with its FerocityFerocity, damage bonus, and the Boundless passive that multiplies everything by 20% per Crackling Energy stack — it's the cornerstone of the damage.

Mercenary S13

Subo is the main mercenary, equipped with Wire TrapWire Trap and Cover FireCover Fire leading to Opening Fire. His role is purely utilitarian: control enemies and ease clear speed while we completely drop positioning management.

As reinforcement, Varyana brings Bloodlust to boost offensive stats via her triggered passive. The synergy stays light but sufficient — on an immortal build, the mercenary is a cherry on top rather than a centerpiece.

Paragon

The route starts on the Start board with the ExploitExploit glyph at rank 150, passing through ElementalistElementalist and ResilienceResilience. We then move to Static Surge with TacticianTactician at rank 150, the Insulated node, and a detour through Incapacitate for resistance coverage.

The third board Enchantment Master activates EliminatorEliminator at rank 150 with Tactical and Elemental BalanceElemental Balance in passing. The fourth, Frigid Fate, opens the ElementalistElementalist glyph rank 150 and the legendary node with Elemental FavorElemental Favor, WeakenWeaken, and Guarded.

The fifth board Ceaseless Conduit closes the route with the DestructionDestruction glyph rank 150, Galvanic, Devastate, and ConduitConduit along the way. If you have leftover points, fill in with Restorative then Paralyzing, and finally Restorative for the final layer.
