ENDGAME | BUDGET | SPEED FARM BARBARE
Build Overview
This Barbarian build revolves around a unique chain mechanic in Season 13:
Leap applies
Rend to all enemies hit thanks to the combination of
Chainscourged Mail and
Ring of the Ravenous. This permanent bleed application then triggers the
Skullbreaker's Aspect every time an enemy is incapacitated, unleashing massive bursts of damage over time.
The
Chainscourged Mail is the central key: it makes
Leap permanent, as it is the only melee-type skill the build uses. With a base cooldown of 13 seconds,
Leap can be recast indefinitely thanks to accumulated cooldown reduction. The
Ring of the Ravenous then transfers this bleed from
Rend, creating a continuous stream of damage over time.
The
Mosh upgrade for
Leap is particularly powerful here: it causes the Ancients summoned by
Call of the Ancients to also apply
Rend to their targets, with no internal cooldown. The result: each Ancients summon exponentially multiplies the active bleed stacks on the battlefield.
On the raw damage side,
Shattered Vow amplifies damage over time while executing enemies below a certain health threshold. The
Blood Sworn rune provides a massive damage multiplier — Rob2628 cites an improvement of around 20 times compared to other tested runes, with an additional healing bonus.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Insane bleed damage thanks to the Leap → Rend chain via
Chainscourged Mail - Exceptional mobility: permanent
Leap with
Rage of Harrogath massively reducing cooldown - Versatility: two configurations depending on priority (DPS with two-handed mace or speed with dual-wield)
Mosh +
Call of the Ancients synergy: Ancients apply
Rend with no ICD- The
Blood Sworn rune multiplies damage by roughly 20x while also providing healing - Compatible with high-difficulty Pit and intense endgame content
Cons
- Build still in optimization phase according to Rob2628 — gem powers are not yet applied to the gear
- Relies on key items (
Chainscourged Mail,
Ring of the Ravenous) that must be perfectly geared - Does not use the bleed set — relies on the Berserker set for damage multipliers
- The speed configuration requires specific one-handed weapons with an attack speed aspect
Recommended Gear
Loot Table
The build relies on several essential gear pieces that Rob2628 details in the video. The
Chainscourged Mail pants are the absolute centerpiece: they transform
Leap into a trigger for
Rend. Without it, the build's core mechanic does not function.
The
Heir of Perdition occupies the helmet slot. Rob2628 also mentions he has a
Crown of Lucion in the Cube, not equipped on the character — it is a reserve piece, not an active item in the build.
The
Ring of the Ravenous is the second critical item: it transfers the bleed from
Rend via Overpower stacks during weapon swaps. Combined with the
Chainscourged Mail, it creates the core damage loop.
The
Shattered Vow is the main weapon for the DPS configuration: this two-handed weapon amplifies damage over time and executes weakened enemies. For the speed configuration, Rob2628 opts for two one-handed weapons combined with an aspect providing 50% additional attack speed with one-handed weapons.
In the chest slot, the
Rage of Harrogath is central to the speed configuration: it reduces
Leap's cooldown and stacks attack speed with each jump. The
Banished Lord's Talisman amulet and the
Arreat's Bearing pants round out the unique item slots presented in the video.
Key Aspects
The
Skullbreaker's Aspect is the massive damage trigger: it activates on every enemy incapacitation, amplifying damage over time in spectacular fashion. The
Aspect of Limitless Rage ensures Fury generation through jumps, guaranteeing resources never run dry. The Crushing Aspect is among the equipped aspects mentioned by Rob2628 to amplify the build's overall damage.
Horadric Seal S13
Rob2628 mentions an interesting alternative with the Spirit Diamond Seal combined with the Bloodletter set pieces. This combination can serve as an alternative option for players who want to explore a different direction, without being the main configuration of the build.
Gameplay Tips
The rotation revolves around a single trigger:
Leap. Each jump applies
Rend to enemies hit via the
Chainscourged Mail, then the
Ring of the Ravenous transfers this bleed with each weapon swap. The goal is therefore to loop jumps between monster packs while keeping shouts active.
On the defensive side, Rob2628 chains
Challenging Shout,
Rallying Cry, and
Iron Skin to keep Fury high and maximize mitigation in Pit 150.
Call of the Ancients is unleashed on Bosses to multiply bleed applications thanks to the
Mosh upgrade on
Leap. During pure movement phases, the "Leap Speed" configuration favors two one-handed weapons to max out attack speed and zoom between tiers.
Skill Tree
The build's active skills are
Rend,
Leap,
War Cry,
Rallying Cry,
Challenging Shout,
Iron Skin, and
Call of the Ancients. The
Mosh upgrade on
Leap is absolutely fundamental: it allows the Ancients from
Call of the Ancients to apply
Rend to every enemy struck, with no internal cooldown restriction. This behavior is what pushes active bleed to levels otherwise impossible to reach.
The mobility rune in
War Cry is also mentioned: it triggers on mobility skills like
Leap, ensuring
War Cry remains active at all times during dynamic combat phases.
Mercenary S13
Subo — Active Mercenary
Rob2628 uses Subo as his mercenary, with
Wire Trap. Subo reaches extraordinary damage numbers in this configuration — Rob2628 mentions peaks of 23,000 billion damage for the mercenary alone. Subo's "scorch urge" buff contributes to this damage spike, creating an effective synergy with the Barbarian's bleeds.
This is one of the best options for this build in S13 according to Rob2628, who highlights that Subo performs better than the alternatives tested in this context.
Paragon
Rob2628 details the Paragon boards used in the build. The main glyphs are
Might,
Challenger,
Dominate,
Wrath, and
Marshal. These glyphs are placed on the
Blood Rage,
Decimator,
Warbringer, and starting boards.
On the Paragon node side, the build benefits from
Executioner (a node that works with polearm weapons, like a two-handed spear) to amplify damage against Vulnerable targets. The
Carnage node completes the damage multiplier chain.

@Kami merci pour les infos 👌
