LEVELING | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM DEMONISTE
Build Overview
This Warlock build, designed by @MacroBioBoi (Maxroll.gg), revolves entirely around the signature skill Blazing Scream (Blazing Scream), a Hellfire skill that bounces off walls and repeatedly strikes enemies. The fantasy of the build is to become the Archfiend yourself through Metamorphosis: your character enters a permanent transformation that massively scales your damage, at the cost of continuous Burning damage you need to learn to manage in order to get the most out of it. Blazing Scream stacks an unprecedented combination of skill tags (Greater and Lesser Demon, Hellfire, Demonology, Fire damage), letting it restore its own resource, count as summoning a Greater Demon for Paragon purposes, and generate Volatility. The archetype combines near-permanent mobility, driven by Command Abodian and
Rampage, with an area burst obtained by bouncing projectiles down corridors or off walls. According to the author, this build suits players ready to manage two separate resources (Wrath and Dominance) and to work around the self-inflicted damage from Metamorphosis to maximize their damage output.
Strengths / Weaknesses
✅ Strengths
- Extremely mobile thanks to Command Abodian and
Rampage, letting you chain movement continuously - Dynamic and satisfying gameplay: spamming Blazing Scream and watching projectiles bounce off walls
- Easy transition from leveling thanks to constant skill spam, with no complex rotation
❌ Weaknesses
- Requires aiming at walls or tight corridors to maximize bounces and therefore damage
- Managing two separate resources (Wrath and Dominance) that must constantly be balanced
Recommended Equipment
Table de Loot
Moloch's Beating Flame requires your Hellfire skills to be empowered by Volatility, gained from Metamorphosis and fed by every Blazing Scream cast.
Crown of Lucion and
Ring of Starless Skies offset one another to manage resource costs.
Undying Aspect (
Undying Aspect) provides the healing needed to generate Barrier from
Temerity.
Aspect of Heavenly Strength requires you to equip a two-handed weapon, while
Aspect of Accursed Touch, placed on the boots, applies Vulnerable. On the rune side,
Gar grants extra Critical Strike Chance, and
Que generates Barrier every 3 seconds, on top of the one from
Temerity. The
Anathema of the Primes charm only adds a small amount of damage scaling, but it turns
Rampage's cost from Dominance into Wrath, making it an essential mobility option.
Horadric Seal S14
The seal used in Endgame is a Legendary Horadric Seal granting +1 charm slot along with a damage reduction bonus (from Demon Skin). The first five slots are filled by "Abaddon's Flesh" set charms (Phoba, Fer, Mlor, Linta and Beru), which keep their bonuses even if you drop Metamorphosis and double your damage for several Blazing Scream casts that spend Infernal Hunger stacks. The sixth slot holds the unique charm
Anathema of the Primes, whose main benefit is turning
Rampage's cost from Dominance into Wrath.
Gameplay Tips
Hop onto your summon's back with Command Abodian to charge into battle: this skill quickly breaks crowd control and grants Unstoppable, and can be recast to hop off early. Cast Metamorphosis once and don't click it again — only recast it if the buff happens to fall off. Dark Prison drastically increases your survivability: killing enemies inside its area resets its cooldown, so only use it while actively fighting to avoid it falling off prematurely. Use Command Fallen whenever you run out of Wrath to summon your demonic allies, who passively generate it while attacking.
Rampage remains your main mobility option, but it should also be cast on every new Elite you encounter to trigger the bonus from
Anathema of the Primes. Then spam Blazing Scream: this skill bounces off walls and can hit the same enemies multiple times. Whenever possible, aim for a tight corridor or an enclosed area to maximize the bounces, especially against a Boss or a tanky Elite — the DPS gain is noticeable. Finally, stay close to enemies so the AoE Burning damage from Inferno Fragment hits as many targets as possible.
Talent Tree
Mercenary S14
In Endgame, the main mercenary is Raheir, who adds considerable survivability and can even slightly scale your damage when he Taunts enemies. He's backed up by Aldkin as reinforcement, who further reduces incoming damage. On the Starter and Midgame variants, Varyana can be used instead to increase your in-combat healing rate.
Paragon
Prioritize survivability over damage early on: hit the minimum requirements of each glyph instead of maxing them out, and complete the board first before going back for small damage or armor bonuses. The glyph priority order is as follows: Hellforge, Unbound, Eliminator, Demonologist, then Vanguard. The associated boards are Start/Eliminator, Pyrosis/Vanguard, Fathomless/Demonologist, Demonic Spicules/Hellforge and Dynamism/Unbound.
