Build Overview

This Blazing Scream speed farm Warlock build runs on one button. You switch on demon form, race across the screen, and the hellfire skills fire off by themselves. Every enemy gets dragged behind you and dies under a flood of skills your character casts without any input from you. P4wnyhof's video presents it as the fastest Warlock of Season 15, built for every farming activity.

It is a spin-off of his pit pushing version (progression in the Pit). Three items are enough to switch from one to the other, so you keep a single gear base and swap according to the day's content. The original idea comes from Slaydra, whom P4wnyhof thanks in the video before pushing the concept much further.

This is not a boss build. The author says so himself: Mephisto does not enjoy it. Power climbs with kills and attack speed, so give the ramp-up time before expecting the big numbers. Once you have packs to run through, though, nothing goes faster.

Pros and Cons

Strengths

  • One button to hold, everything else casts automatically: ideal on a controller.
  • Very fast in Helltide, Undercity and Nightmare Dungeons.
  • Only three items to change from the pit pushing version.
  • Plenty of unique and mythic options to round out the gear.
  • Survivability built on maximum life and the barrier gained from kills.

Weaknesses

  • The build feels clunky until attack speed builds up.
  • Bosses need a few seconds of ramp-up before the real damage shows.
  • Made for farming, not for high-end pit pushing.

The backbone stays the same as the pit pushing build: Leoric's Crown on the head, Enigma on the chest and Hand of ApotheosisHand of Apotheosis on the gloves. Enigma brings roughly 70% extra maximum life, and that is the key point: more maximum life means more life on kill, so more damage with Metamorphosis and more barrier with TemerityTemerity. Hand of ApotheosisHand of Apotheosis doubles the bonus of every demon form upgrade, which amplifies the whole thing further.

Boots carry the Sadistic Aspect: each demon kill has a 50% chance to count twice. That feeds straight into the Wendigo BrandWendigo Brand on the ring, which gains damage and attack speed with every string of kills. The other ring, Stone of Jordan, fixes resistances in one go: once it is equipped, the author no longer has to think about them.

Your weapon is In-Geom, a new item that shortens your skills' cooldown by ten seconds when you finish an elite pack. Between packs, your command skill's cooldown drops to 3.9 seconds instead of 4.64 thanks to the boots (movement speed and mobility cooldown reduction). On the weapon and offhand, favor cooldown reduction upgrades: the author does not want to depend on a single item to keep the cadence. The amulet carries Moloch's Beating FlameMoloch's Beating Flame, and you can transfigure the Sadistic Aspect onto it to free up the boots slot.

Horadric Seal S15

The talisman builds on the Flesh of Abaddon set: five set charms and a sixth charm, unique this time. The set bonus adds about 200% damage, extra maximum life and more damage for volatile hellfire skills. The seal leaves room for one unique charm on top of the set.

For the speed farm version, that unique charm is the Hellhound's SabatonsHellhound's Sabatons. They are the key to the automatic casting: using them as a charm frees the boots slot for the Sadistic Aspect. In the pit pushing version, The Furnace takes their place. With the Sadistic Aspect on the amulet, the sabatons move back to the boots and another charm fills the freed slot.

Gameplay Tips

With the Blazing Scream speed farm Warlock build, the move never changes: switch on demon form, advance with simple dashes, then cast Command Fallen to drag the whole pack behind you. It comes back almost immediately thanks to the very low cooldown, and you chain it again. Undercity is the best experience zone if you are aiming for Paragon level 300: drop the brazier, which also helps with cooldowns, and let it run.

Remember to kill an elite now and then, otherwise the In-Geom cooldown reduction never triggers. Plan the odd detour to pick up experience orbs too, since you never stop. Against a boss like Belial, just roll back and forth in front of him: attack speed and demon kills climb within seconds and the boss goes down. If an obstacle blocks you, the teleport with stealth lets you clear it without losing your rhythm.

Talent Tree

Bombardment casts on its own around you: invest in it for more damage and extra Bombardment demons. Blazing Scream deals more damage the more enemies it hits and the faster you move. The author picks Skull Splitter for its fast pace: the orbital version offers a 3000% damage bonus, but when it casts by itself, it only refreshes its duration without speeding up the rotation.

Umbral Chains stays on your character permanently, deals notable damage and knocks enemies back. Dark Prison provides fortify, weaken, healing and slow, while Metamorphosis grants damage that follows your life, unstoppable status and the damage stacking of the Destruction Demon.

The trigger for the automatic casting is Command Fallen, paired with the Hellhound's SabatonsHellhound's Sabatons. It does not appear in the tree displayed below for this variant, which shows only the other five skills.

Mercenary S15

Raheir is the main mercenary. The author picks him for the extra resistances and the damage bonus, two perks that matter when you run through entire packs. The grid shows a reinforcement with Varyana.

Paragon

The Paragon board is the same as in the pit pushing build, with different glyphs. You keep the EliminatorEliminator glyph at the start, Death Aura for the elemental resistance that also raises maximum dominance, and Ichor Carapace on the third board. The WrathWrath glyph is not there to generate wrath here, it mainly raises the critical strike damage multiplier, and Hellforge comes ahead of Unbound because wrath regeneration is useless in this build.

How the Blazing Scream speed farm Warlock build works

It all rests on a virtuous circle. Command Fallen, paired with the Hellhound's SabatonsHellhound's Sabatons, makes the hellfire skills cast automatically: Blazing Scream, Bombardment and Umbral Chains. Every summoned demon dies right away, feeding the Wendigo BrandWendigo Brand with attack speed and damage. Life on kill fills the TemerityTemerity barrier, and that is it: the further you go, the stronger and better protected you are.

Switching from the pit pushing version to speed farm

The build data shows three gear differences between the two versions. The boots go from the Undying AspectUndying Aspect to the Sadistic Aspect. The weapon changes to In-Geom, and the offhand drops the Infernal HomunculusInfernal Homunculus for the Brutal Aspect. Everything else, including the main Paragon glyphs, barely moves.
