ENDGAME | PIT PUSH DRUIDE
Build Overview
This
Pulverize Druid build is one of the best Boss destroyers of the season. It can eliminate any Boss at the highest difficulty in the game while offering a very smooth farming loop thanks to the Purified Lightbringer, which pulls enemies toward a single point on each use of
Pulverize. The balance between damage and defenses is one of this build's greatest strengths this season.
The gameplay loop is straightforward: before entering combat, activate
Lightning Storm, then trigger
Grizzly Rage. Once both skills are active, the build destroys everything in its path. Note:
Lightning Storm cannot be activated during
Grizzly Rage, so always activate it first.
The
Wolves play an important role in this build: each critical hit they land grants 40% bonus attack speed, which is essential for the naturally slow cadence of
Pulverize.
Debilitating Roar acts as a panic button by reducing incoming damage, while
Cyclone Armor passively increases resistances.
This build can kill every Boss on Torment 12, clear past Pit 30, and remains one of the most well-rounded builds of the season.
Pros and Cons
✅ Pros
- Boss destruction at the highest difficulty
- Excellent damage / defense balance
- Smooth farming thanks to the Purified Lightbringer grouping enemies
- Simple gameplay loop, no complicated rituals
- Up to 58 Resolve stacks for near-immortality
- Explosive damage via the charm set's petrification mechanic
❌ Cons
Lightning Storm must be activated before
Grizzly Rage without exception
Pulverize is inherently a slow skill- Overpower generation mechanic can be inconsistent at times
Recommended Gear
Loot Table
The key item for this build is
Tibault's Will. Thanks to the Ká and Nagar runes,
Earthen Bulwark activates frequently, triggering the Unstoppable state and activating
Tibault's Will to massively regenerate Spirit. The
Ring of Starless Skies completes this system by reducing the resource cost of skills, allowing
Pulverize and
Lightning Storm to be cast simultaneously without issue.
The Gift of the Stag Spirit Boon increases the maximum Spirit pool and passively regenerates resources, which is enough to keep skills active at all times.
The Resolve mechanic is one of the most powerful in the build: by tempering Resolve on the helm, chest, pants, and amulet, you can reach up to 58 stacks. Might of the Ursine grants 13% bonus damage per active stack in bear form, totaling a 232% damage multiplier. Combined with the
Aspect of Glynn's Anvil on gloves — which activates through this same system — the build becomes extremely difficult to kill.
On the helm,
Heir of Perdition nearly doubles the damage of Coral skills and provides a crucial critical strike chance affix. On boots, the
Aspect of the Ursine Horror allows
Pulverize to benefit from Earth Magic and Nature Magic attacks — this is currently an exploitable bug in Season 13. On jewelry, the Crushing Aspect increases damage by 98% while a barrier is active. The
Conceited Aspect on the amulet amplifies damage when the primary resource pool exceeds 50.
Fracture runestones increase critical strike damage up to 100%, helping stack even more damage into the build.
For ideal affixes, look for critical strike damage multiplier, physical damage multiplier, Willpower, and weapon damage. On the amulet, bonus ranks to Druid skills are sufficient; vulnerable damage multiplier and critical strike damage multiplier are recommended. On jewelry, critical strike damage multipliers, vulnerable damage multipliers, ranks to
Pulverize, and critical strike chance are the priority affixes.
Horadric Seal S13
The charm set revolves around Fossilization.
Pulverize applies Fossilization stacks very quickly. At 4 stacks, the enemy is Petrified for 3 seconds: they are stunned and take 100% bonus critical strike damage. The 3-piece bonus grants 30% reduced incoming damage for 15 seconds each time an enemy is Petrified — a near-permanent uptime given
Pulverize's attack cadence.
The final set bonus is the core of the system: during Petrification, all damage dealt is absorbed by the target. When Petrification ends, if the absorbed damage exceeds the enemy's remaining life, an explosion deals 200% of the absorbed damage.
Pulverize accumulates massive damage during this window thanks to its high attack speed, producing a devastating explosion.
Gameplay Tips
The combat sequence is as follows: first activate
Lightning Storm, then
Grizzly Rage. Once both skills are active, focus on
Pulverize to destroy everything around you. It is essential to activate
Lightning Storm before
Grizzly Rage, as it is impossible to activate it during the rage.
The Storm Chaser modifier makes the storm follow you automatically, avoiding the need to constantly reactivate
Lightning Storm. The Ká and Nagar runes work together: the Nagar rune triggers the Ká rune, which activates
Earthen Bulwark frequently. This continuously generates Resolve stacks and maintains the Unstoppable state.
Debilitating Roar is your panic button against large waves of enemies: activate it whenever you are overwhelmed to reduce incoming damage. The Meditation modifier also reduces damage taken from elites and large packs. The Gradal modifier on
Cyclone Armor doubles the resistances granted.
Tibault's Will is activated by the rune sequence: each activation of
Earthen Bulwark via the runes triggers
Tibault's Will to massively regenerate resources. The
Earthen Bulwark modifier that reduces cast drift is less consistent than other options since the build lacks reliable ways to continuously generate Overpower stacks — it is preferable to keep those stacks at maximum.
The Calamity Spirit Boon is crucial for extending the duration of
Grizzly Rage. Calm Before the Storm resets the ultimate's cooldown, which is very important.
Pulverize and
Lightning Storm are the skills that contribute most to keeping this boon active. The Obsidian Slam Spirit Boon increases damage with every gain or loss of Resolve, making it a constant bonus.
Skill Tree
The main modifier for
Pulverize is Grand Raider, which increases the area of effect size and grants a 400% damage bonus — particularly decisive against Bosses. This modifier is made possible by the
Aspect of the Ursine Horror on boots, which allows
Pulverize to benefit from Earth Magic and Nature Magic attacks. This is a bug in Season 13, but it is currently exploitable. The signature modifiers also provide additional upfront damage bonuses.
The Travertine modifier on
Earthen Bulwark generates Resolve stacks with each activation of the skill. The Unstoppable modifier is the most important one for activating
Tibault's Will.
Cyclone Armor with its Gradal modifier doubles the resistances from the passive.
Mercenary S13
The recommended mercenary for this build is Subo. He helps activate the Ká rune thanks to the
Wolves associated with him, contributing to frequently triggering
Earthen Bulwark and the Spirit regeneration cycle.
Paragon (Boards and Glyphs)
The Dominate board grants 15% bonus damage. Overpower stacks are maintained permanently thanks to the build's synergies. The Devastation board is extremely powerful for skills: it grants 70% bonus critical strike damage. The associated glyph is
Earth and Sky, which increases the damage of Nature Magic skills — in this case,
Pulverize.
The Survival Instincts board grants bonus damage in bear form. The
Outmatch glyph is associated with this board: it increases physical damage and amplifies damage against Bosses, which is the absolute top priority.
The Constricting Tendrils board grants 40% bonus damage against poisoned enemies and contributes to poisoning them. The
Tectonic glyph is associated with this board: it increases damage by 15% against crowd-controlled enemies.
The board associated with the
Spirit glyph grants additional critical strike damage. Finally, the
Fang and Claw glyph is also integrated into the overall Paragon configuration to reinforce damage synergies.
