ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM NECROMANCIEN

Article by Kami

Build Overview

The Bonerdin Necromancer, popularized by @MacroBioBoi, is a speed farm build designed for Pits up to level 110 in Season 13. Its name is a nod to the Diablo 2 Paladin — because this build pushes Necromancer durability to the extreme while dealing massive damage through Bone SpiritBone Spirit. The core principle: turning Bone SpiritBone Spirit into a Core Skill via the Astral Projection upgrade, which allows the skill to consume essence to multiply its damage (up to ×3 per cast) while maintaining essence efficiency above 80%.

Mobility relies on SeverSever, used as a near-instant teleport — both on controller and keyboard/mouse — enabling you to blaze through levels at full speed. The build is robust: Bone StormBone Storm generates barriers and damage reduction, the GolemGolem triggers the Unstoppable bonus from Tibault's WillTibault's Will, and the Bone Weaver set from the Horadric Seal massively amplifies Overpower scaling. Gear-intensive but accessible once you obtain the mythic helm Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition, this build is one of the best efficient farm choices for Season 13.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional mobility thanks to SeverSever spam (teleport with no cooldown)
  • Very tanky: barriers, damage reduction via Bone StormBone Storm, automatic Fortification
  • Powerful Overpower scaling in Season 13 (Bone Weaver + Tibault's WillTibault's Will + Red Blessing)
  • Efficient essence management above 80% thanks to Skeleton Mages and Lucky Hit procs
  • Smooth and easy-to-pick-up gameplay, suited for both farming and Pit Bosses

Cons

  • Gear-intensive: requires the mythic helm Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition to fully function
  • Depends on several rare unique items (Banished Lord's TalismanBanished Lord's Talisman, Tibault's WillTibault's Will, Ring of Starless SkiesRing of Starless Skies)
  • The Bone Weaver set from the Horadric Seal (including Red Blessing as a Boss drop) may take time to complete
  • The Fortification tempering on minions is mandatory to activate Tibault's WillTibault's Will

The mythic helm Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition is the cornerstone of the build: it transforms Bone SpiritBone Spirit into a Core Skill via the Astral Projection upgrade, allowing the skill to consume essence to multiply its damage. Without it, the build does not hold together. Look for a bonus rank on Core Skills.

The chest piece Vengeful Sinew provides passive essence regeneration per second, offsetting the intensive essence consumption of Bone SpiritBone Spirit. The PantsPants Tibault's WillTibault's Will are the other offensive pillar: they grant 50 essence on Unstoppable (triggered by the GolemGolem), allowing you to fill the essence orb twice per second. Look for a Greater Affix on Armor.

The amulet Banished Lord's TalismanBanished Lord's Talisman boosts Overpower scaling — it is one of the most important items after Heir of PerditionHeir of Perdition. It has a secondary slot for a defensive aspect via Aspect of Shielding Bones. The Ring of Starless SkiesRing of Starless Skies (mythic) reduces the resource cost of repeated Core Skills, enabling even more sustained Bone SpiritBone Spirit spam.

The legendary boots carry the Undying AspectUndying Aspect, which directly increases the rank of Bone SpiritBone Spirit and therefore its damage. Ring 1 (Soulwatch HoopSoulwatch Hoop) carries the Aspect of Rapid Ossification to speed up Bone PrisonBone Prison and improve overall cast speed. The gloves roll the Aspect Bone Breaker's to reinforce core damage.

For weapons, the Obsidian BladeObsidian Blade (weapon 1) carries the Tidal AspectTidal Aspect, which amplifies the area damage of Bone SpiritBone Spirit. The Bone Shield (weapon 2 / off-hand) carries the Aspect of Splintering ShardsAspect of Splintering Shards, ideal for pack clearing. Look for high Greater Affixes in Intelligence on both weapons.

Horadric Seal S13

Season 13 introduces the Horadric Seal (Talisman), and the Bonerdin Necromancer exploits this system to the fullest with the Bone Weaver set at 5/5. This set consists of five charms — Phoba, Fer, Mlor, Linta, and Beru — which synergize to amplify Bone SpiritBone Spirit damage and boost the build's Overpower scaling. Once the full set is active, Bone SpiritBone Spirit damage against Overpowered targets is considerably increased.

The unique charm Red Blessing completes the Talisman by providing an Overpower bonus tied to Blood Orbs. This charm drops from Pit Bosses — it may take a few runs but represents a significant DPS gain. Combined with the Bone Weaver set, it takes the build to a whole new level of performance against Bosses and elites.

Finally, the legendary seal Rift Hate grants an extra charm slot (+1 Charm Slot), unlocking 6 slots in total. This is what allows you to equip all 5 Bone Weaver charms and Red Blessing simultaneously — making this seal virtually mandatory for the build.

Gameplay Tips

Essence management is at the heart of the build. Skeleton Mages (variant B, 3 skeletons) offer a 160% multiplier per skeleton, totaling 480% combined — a permanent passive damage source. The real magic comes from Tibault's WillTibault's Will: each time Unstoppable is triggered via the GolemGolem (very short cooldown), you instantly gain 50 essence, filling the orb twice per second. Combined with Lucky Hit (18 to 36 essence per proc), the orb refills continuously even while spamming Bone SpiritBone Spirit.

Bone PrisonBone Prison plays a dual role: it generates essence on each cast and is empowered by the attack speed cap (100% + weapon bonus). Keep it active on packs to maximize regeneration. Its rank 10/15 is intentional — it offers the best cast speed / essence generation ratio without overloading the skill tree.

The optimal rotation: activate the GolemGolem to trigger Unstoppable (and thus Tibault's WillTibault's Will), apply Iron MaidenIron Maiden via the Watt Rune (automatic proc on attack), cast DecrepifyDecrepify via the Dreadful Blood MistDreadful Blood Mist, activate Bone StormBone Storm for damage reduction and barriers, then spam Bone PrisonBone Prison and Bone SpiritBone Spirit in a loop. SeverSever serves as a constant repositioning dash between casts.

For Overpower scaling, the build stacks 4 base charges + 4 from Tibault's WillTibault's Will + 4 from Red Blessing = 12 total Overpower charges simultaneously active. Fortification is obtained automatically thanks to the "minion attacks grant Fortification" temper on armor — essential to activate the bonus from Tibault's WillTibault's Will (4 charges required). Survivability relies on Bone StormBone Storm barriers, damage reduction from DecrepifyDecrepify via Resolve, and the GolemGolem's Unstoppable cycles. The build holds comfortably up to Pit 110.

Skill Tree

The Bonerdin Necromancer skill tree features 32 allocated nodes for a total of 83 points invested. Bone SpiritBone Spirit is maxed at 15/15 with the three core upgrades: Core Skill (activating essence consumption for ×3 damage), Astral Projection (reducing essence cost by 50% each subsequent cast) and the standard damage bonus. Bone StormBone Storm is also at 15/15 with the Roll The Bones (extra damage), Damage Reduction, and Barrier paths for survivability.

Skeleton Mages are pushed to 15/15 with the Death's Gift upgrades (for the passive damage multiplier), Critical Strike Chance, and the Ferocity/Overpower path. Bone PrisonBone Prison is intentionally capped at 10/15 to maximize cast speed and essence generation. Iron MaidenIron Maiden takes the Ferocity, Overpower, and Execution/Fortification paths. DecrepifyDecrepify maxes Resolve (Fortification) and Cooldown Reduction. The GolemGolem takes the Unstoppable upgrade to trigger Tibault's WillTibault's Will, along with Grave Blossom and the Resolve path. SeverSever takes only the cost reduction node to spam the teleport indefinitely.

Mercenary S13

Raheir is the build's main mercenary, hired in his Shieldbearer role (Shieldbearer). He uses ProvokeProvoke to aggro elites and Bosses in his place, and Shield ChargeShield Charge to interrupt enemy attacks. His two allocated passives — Raheir's GuardRaheir's Guard and Iron Wolf's Ward — enhance the Necromancer's durability by absorbing a portion of incoming damage, which is crucial for high-level Pits.

As reinforcement, Aldkin is selected for his Field of LanguishField of Languish skill, which slows enemies in a wide area and applies a damage taken multiplier. This synergy works particularly well against Bosses and elite packs, where the slow combined with Iron MaidenIron Maiden and DecrepifyDecrepify procs maximizes the Overpower window. The player's Bone SpiritBone Spirit skill is also allocated via Aldkin's Reinforcement system.

Paragon

The Bonerdin Necromancer's paragon tree spans 5 boards and 297 allocated nodes, with all glyphs leveled to rank 150. The starting board hosts the EssenceEssence glyph, which directly amplifies damage tied to essence consumption — the core mechanic of Bone SpiritBone Spirit. The Bone Graft board hosts the CorporealCorporeal glyph, which boosts damage based on corporeal attributes allocated nearby, particularly Intelligence.

The Frailty board carries the DominateDominate glyph, perfect for amplifying damage against enemies under Crowd Control — Bone PrisonBone Prison and DecrepifyDecrepify permanently keep enemies in that state. The Bloodbath board hosts the AmplifyAmplify glyph, which scales directly with the number of active Overpower charges, making each Bone SpiritBone Spirit cast even more devastating during damage spikes. Finally, the Flesh-eater board completes the build with the GravekeeperGravekeeper glyph, which strengthens synergies between minions and the Necromancer, contributing to passive resource and Fortification generation.
