⚠️ Build PTR — Serveur de test

Ce build a été testé uniquement sur le serveur de test (PTR) et peut subir des modifications majeures lors de la sortie officielle.

Build Overview

The Spiritborn Pestilent Swarm build combines near-permanent Evade uptime with a poison aura that automatically strikes anything that gets close to the player. CounterattackCounterattack is the main damage engine and scales up with every stack of Resolve, a mechanic carried by uniques like the Ring of Writhing MoonRing of Writhing Moon.

On top of that foundation, Toxic SkinToxic Skin keeps the poison aura active at all times, while The DevourerThe Devourer and RavagerRavager keep up the offensive pressure. The result is a highly mobile Spiritborn that plows through waves of enemies without ever really stopping: most of the damage comes from the aura and from Counterattack triggering on contact, rather than from a manual skill rotation.

Near-mandatory requirement: Ring of Writhing MoonRing of Writhing Moon.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Extreme mobility thanks to near-permanent Evade uptime, which gives time to weave the poison aura
  • Damage that scales on its own with Resolve stacks on CounterattackCounterattack
  • Automatic poison aura that clears packs without constant micromanagement
  • Mercenary Raheir provides tanky support during rotations

Weaknesses

  • Requires +15 ranks in several spirit-family skills, a specific gear investment (boots, amulet, charms, or the Vex rune)
  • Depends on several specific uniques: Ring of Writhing MoonRing of Writhing Moon, Harmony of EbewakaHarmony of Ebewaka, and Fists of FateFists of Fate, that are hard to replace
  • The Tome's charm set buff must be refreshed every 10 seconds with ScourgeScourge, or it falls off mid-fight

The gear for this Spiritborn Pestilent Swarm build revolves around four uniques that shape the whole kit. The Harmony of EbewakaHarmony of Ebewaka helm and the Fists of FateFists of Fate gloves form the defensive backbone, while the Ring of Writhing MoonRing of Writhing Moon directly fuels the scaling of CounterattackCounterattack. On the chest, the Squirt's Blouse unique closes the loop with a direct bonus to that same Counterattack. On the aspect side, the Aspect of DisobedienceAspect of Disobedience on the pants, the Aspect of ApprehensionAspect of Apprehension on the boots, and the Aspect of Supremacy on the amulet lay down the defensive base, rounded out by the Aspect of PestilenceAspect of Pestilence on the second ring and the Aspect of InfestationAspect of Infestation on the weapon to thicken up the poison aura. Without the chest or glove uniques, an all-legendary variant, with the Aspect of Debilitating Toxins and the Writhing Aspect, is still perfectly viable.

Horadric Seal S15

This Spiritborn's Seal relies on the Beru of Balazan's Bite charm set, rounded out by the unique charm Protean Heart, which grants a bonus based on the last spirit summoned. This is the set that requires recasting ScourgeScourge every 10 seconds: without that regular refresh, the Seal's offensive bonus falls off and Counterattack loses a good chunk of its power. The interactive grid below details the exact placement of each charm.

Gameplay Tips

The rotation is about keeping The DevourerThe Devourer, CounterattackCounterattack, RavagerRavager, and Toxic SkinToxic Skin up at all times, then casting ScourgeScourge every 10 seconds to refresh the Seal's buff. Between those key moments, spam Rushing ClawRushing Claw to fill the rotation gaps and keep Evade constantly moving. The build needs a minimum of 4 Ferocity along with +15 ranks in several skills tied to the Gorilla, Eagle, and Jaguar spirit families, an investment that comes through boots, amulet, the Vex rune, or, more simply, charms. In support, mercenary Raheir soaks up the group's attention with Shield ChargeShield Charge and ProvokeProvoke, letting the Spiritborn focus on its poison aura.

Talent Tree

This build's talent tree is built around CounterattackCounterattack and Toxic SkinToxic Skin, with complementary investments in RavagerRavager and VortexVortex to group enemies up before the poison aura does the rest. The interactive tree below shows the exact point allocation.

Mercenary S15

Raheir is this build's main mercenary thanks to his pure tank role: his Shield ChargeShield Charge and ProvokeProvoke skills draw enemy attention and let the Spiritborn manage its poison aura without being interrupted.

On top of that, Raheir's GuardRaheir's Guard and Mocking LureMocking Lure further boost his ability to soak up damage, which proves especially useful against dense packs where Counterattack needs time to ramp up.

On the S13 variant, mercenary Subo takes over instead: his Wire TrapWire Trap and Cover FireCover Fire bring ranged support damage, while Ready At HandReady At Hand and Opening FireOpening Fire add further offensive pressure: a more damage-oriented profile than Raheir, useful when the group doesn't need an extra tank.

Paragon and Glyphs

This Spiritborn Pestilent Swarm's Paragon setup is built around five boards devoted to CounterattackCounterattack and the poison aura. The starting board carries the MenageristMenagerist glyph, followed by CannyCanny on Revealing, then ConsumptionConsumption on Prodigy's Tempo to speed up the power curve. Convergence adds the BaneBane glyph to maximize damage against weakened targets, and the brand-new Swarm of Storms board, introduced in Season 15, rounds out the setup with the RevengeRevenge glyph, an addition tailor-made for this poison-aura playstyle.
