ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM SORCIERE
Build Overview
This Season 13 Sorceress build elevates
Charged Bolts to the primary skill by leveraging a guided missile mechanic: the bolts fire in all directions and automatically home in on nearby enemies, freeing you from the need for precise aiming. The single keystone of this synergy is the
Staff of Lam Esen, which greatly amplifies
Charged Bolts damage while enabling the tracking effect — bolts chase targets regardless of the direction you cast the spell. The result is a particularly relaxed, ranged playstyle that melts Pit 100 Bosses and beyond at an impressive pace.
The build offers two variants covered by the interactive iframes below. The No Mythics version is fully equipped with legendary items and accessible uniques, featuring the
Godslayer Crown as the helmet and the
Aspect of Heavenly Strength to support two-handed weapon use. The Endgame Mythic version replaces the helmet with the
Harlequin Crest, the chest with
Tyrael's Might, and the first ring with the
Ring of Starless Skies to reach the damage ceiling. Esu's Heirloom at the boots and the
Staff of Lam Esen remain unchanged across both configurations.
On the enchantment side,
Ball Lightning and
Charged Bolts are placed in the Sorceress enchantment slots to generate additional passive damage.
Unstable Currents serves as the central offensive cooldown: it multiplies the cast rate of
Charged Bolts and must remain active at all times.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
- Guided missiles: no precision aiming required, bolts automatically track enemies
- Relaxed and highly accessible gameplay, ideal for a relaxing ranged lightning playstyle
- Excellent clear speed — Pit 100 Bosses vaporized in seconds
- Two clear variants: a fully functional No Mythics version, and an Endgame Mythic version to push even further
- Lightning skills are particularly powerful in Season 13
Weaknesses
- Missiles do not round corners 100% of the time — aiming slightly past the target maximizes damage
- Dependent on the
Staff of Lam Esen: without it, the homing effect is lost
Unstable Currents must be kept active at all times or DPS will drop significantly

Loot Table
No Mythics Version — This configuration is the entry point for the build. The
Staff of Lam Esen is the only indispensable piece: it activates bolt tracking and increases their damage, with a Greater Affix on critical strike chance to push the offensive multiplier. The
Godslayer Crown provides survivability through maximum life charges. Esu's Heirloom boots bring the movement speed needed for mobility and appear in 100% of competitive Sorceress builds. On the chest, the
Aspect of Heavenly Strength compensates for wielding a two-handed weapon. The gloves receive the
Aspect of Overwhelming Currents to amplify critical strike damage, the
Pants carry the
Mage-Lord's Aspect for shock damage, and the off-ring bears the
Aspect of Armageddon for a massive damage multiplier on ultimate activation. The
Galvanic Azurite is used to group enemies by pulling them in, making group clears easier. Ferocious Aspect on the amulet is critical: each stack of Ferocity increases the number of bolts fired by
Charged Bolts.
Endgame Mythic Version — Once you gain access to Mythics, three swaps transform the build. The
Harlequin Crest replaces the
Godslayer Crown for its exceptional universal stats.
Tyrael's Might takes the place of the legendary chest for its outstanding damage reduction. Finally, the
Ring of Starless Skies replaces the
Galvanic Azurite: its resource cost reduction keeps your mana flowing freely at all times, allowing you to cast
Charged Bolts without interruption. All other slots — boots, gloves,
Pants, amulet, weapon, and off-ring — remain identical to the No Mythics version.
Horadric Seal S13
The Tal Rasha set is used in both variants of the build. It is by far the easiest to keep active for a Sorceress since it triggers naturally by alternating multiple elements — which this build already does organically through its varied enchantments. The entire Horadric Seal setup is identical in the No Mythics and Endgame Mythic configurations.
Gameplay Tips
The tracking mechanic of
Charged Bolts has one important limitation to understand: the missiles do not round corners 100% of the time. If a Boss is positioned behind a wall or at the corner of a corridor, they may not turn sharply enough to reach it. The correct technique is to aim slightly past or on the other side of the target: the bolts charge in the opposite direction then return while tracking the enemy, delivering far more DPS than a direct shot. Apply this logic especially against Bosses that summon adds — aiming past the Boss simultaneously multiplies the number of hits.
The cooldown rotation revolves around
Unstable Currents: this ultimate must be used as soon as it is available, without exception. It increases your damage over its duration and generates additional bolts each time you cast
Charged Bolts. Always pair it with the
Aspect of Armageddon to trigger the massive damage multiplier.
Ice Armor activates whenever you need to absorb a heavy hit — it also generates Frost charges that increase the number of bolts produced by
Charged Bolts via the Surging Charge passive. Flame Shield and
Teleport are your two other defensive tools to use for dodging explosions or repositioning quickly in combat.
For mana management, the paragon board Static Surge (glyph
Destruction) restores mana on each hit against an enemy, which is never an issue in group combat. In the No Mythics version, the Pac and Mot or Q runes also help smooth out regeneration. In the Endgame Mythic version, the
Ring of Starless Skies directly reduces resource cost, making management even more comfortable.
Skill Tree
Charged Bolts is maxed to its highest rank. The most critical passive in the tree is Surging Charge: it adds one extra bolt per Frost charge, which exponentially multiplies damage as charges stack up.
Ice Armor and the
Familiar (Ice version) help generate these charges in combat.
Ball Lightning is invested to 15 ranks for the enchantments and also produces Frost. Chain Lightning stays at 1 rank to activate additional passive synergies.
Hydra,
Meteor, and
Lightning Spear are present for their passive bonuses — notably cooldown reduction, the Overpower stacks from
Meteor enabling rapid teleports, and the duration extension of
Lightning Spear on critical strike.
Mercenary S13
The chosen mercenary is Subo, specialized in control and ranged support. His signature skills Wired Trap and
Cover Fire provide valuable utility: the trap slows and immobilizes enemies in an area, helping concentrate bolts on targets, while
Cover Fire disrupts Boss patterns. Two passives are allocated to maximize his impact in sustained combat.
Paragon
The paragon path revolves around five boards chosen for their direct synergy with
Charged Bolts and resource regeneration. We start with the starting board featuring the
Unleash glyph, which improves mana regeneration — essential for maintaining cast rate. We then move to the Enchantment Master board with the
Tactician glyph: each
Teleport grants a temporary damage bonus. The Frigid Fate board hosts the
Elementalist glyph to amplify damage against Vulnerable enemies. The Static Surge board with the
Destruction glyph feeds mana regeneration on each enemy hit, ensuring full resource autonomy in combat. Finally, the Searing Heat board closes the loop with the
Exploit glyph, of which only the critical strike damage portion is exploited — impactful enough to justify the slot.
