⚠️ Build PTR — Serveur de test

Ce build a été testé uniquement sur le serveur de test (PTR) et peut subir des modifications majeures lors de la sortie officielle.

Build Overview

The Sorceress Firewall build designed by Mekuna rests on a simple and devastating principle: turning FirewallFirewall into a permanent ring of flames, triggered automatically by the charms of Tal Rasha's Threefold Way, inside which you absolutely must remain to keep dealing damage. That constraint is what gives the build its name, Ring Of FireKuna, and makes it one of the most reliable Sorceress setups for farming Torment 12 without requiring extreme gear. Around that ring sit Charged BoltsCharged Bolts for resource generation, HydraHydra and Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents to boost damage, plus TeleportTeleport to constantly reposition inside the circle of fire. Three progression stages are offered: a T1-T12 variant available from level 70, an Endgame version meant for all content once the Mythic items are secured, and a Tower Rank 1 variant dedicated to pushing the highest possible Pit tier. This guide follows Mekuna's recommendations to gear, play and progress this build across those three stages.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • The most reliable Torment 12 farmer on the Sorceress, with no extreme gear requirement.
  • Simplified rotation: most FirewallFirewall casts happen automatically thanks to Tal Rasha's Threefold Way, with no manual casting.
  • Solid survivability once Raiment of the InfiniteRaiment of the Infinite is obtained, which provides a large amount of toughness.
  • The Endgame variant remains the most versatile setup, suitable for every type of content.

Cons

  • All of your damage depends on staying inside the ring formed by FirewallFirewall: step outside and it drops to almost nothing.
  • The build only reaches full power from five Tal Rasha's Threefold Way charms onwards, which means farming the Talisman before it is fully functional.
  • The Tower Rank 1 variant, built solely to climb as high as possible in the Pit, demands a high Cooldown Reduction threshold and is not suited to anything else.

Gear for this Sorceress Firewall build evolves across the three progression stages. Early on (T1-T12), the priority goes to Raiment of the InfiniteRaiment of the Infinite for toughness, backed by Aspect of Elemental ConstellationAspect of Elemental Constellation, which brings a significant damage gain once set up. On the Endgame variant, Raiment of the InfiniteRaiment of the Infinite remains the first Mythic to chase because it carries most of your survivability; next come the Vision of the Firestorm helm, the Drognan's Anguish ring and the Tibault's WillTibault's Will pants to complete the setup. Against Tormented Bosses, Aspect of Elemental Attunement can be swapped for Aspect of Inner CalmAspect of Inner Calm, which does not break its effect when you TeleportTeleport, or for Aspect of Ancient FlameAspect of Ancient Flame to kill the boss faster. Whatever the stage, aiming for at least one mana regeneration affix on the chest or the pants prevents rotation gaps, and a healthy amount of Cooldown Reduction helps keep Ice ArmorIce Armor up at all times.

Horadric Seal S15

Your Horadric Seal is built around the charms of Tal Rasha's Threefold Way: the build equips six of them in total, but the automatic ring of flames only fully activates from five charms of that set onwards. On the remaining charms, a Pyromancy Skills bonus and a Mastery Skills bonus are equivalent for this build: pick whichever one you happen to have. On the Tower Rank 1 variant, also make sure one of your Talismans carries a Greater Affix to All Stats if no All Stats Transfiguration is equipped, so you do not lose versatility as you push tiers.

Gameplay Tips

Aim for at least 40,000 Maximum Life so nothing one-shots you in the hardest content, and favour Cooldown Reduction to keep Ice ArmorIce Armor permanently active, even while Aspect of Elemental Attunement is equipped. In combat, most of the work is spamming Charged BoltsCharged Bolts for resource while FirewallFirewall fires on its own through the Talisman charms; TeleportTeleport is there to reposition inside the ring often, which is made easier by the Overpower stacks you build up, while HydraHydra helps with cooldowns and Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents provides a burst of damage when you need it.

On the Tower Rank 1 variant, the rotation changes with the phase of the fight: favour BlizzardBlizzard during the clear phase and only recast Charged BoltsCharged Bolts to keep Fundamental ReleaseFundamental Release at its maximum bonus, then alternate roughly two Charged BoltsCharged Bolts for every BlizzardBlizzard once the Boss is engaged. This variant exists purely to climb as high as possible in the Pit and is not meant for anything beyond that push.

Talent Tree

The talent tree covers every active skill this build allocates: Ice ArmorIce Armor, FirewallFirewall, Unstable CurrentsUnstable Currents, Charged BoltsCharged Bolts and HydraHydra take the main bar, while points also go into MeteorMeteor, BlizzardBlizzard, Lightning SpearLightning Spear, TeleportTeleport and Ball LightningBall Lightning to benefit from their passive bonuses without necessarily casting them. The three progression stages (T1-T12, Endgame, Tower Rank 1) share the same talent backbone, with 83 points to spend at each stage; the adjustments happen mostly in the gear and the Talisman rather than in how the skill points are spent.

Mercenary S15

The main mercenary for this build is Subo, whose MolotovMolotov extends the fire theme of the build by covering an area on the ground, complementing the ring formed by FirewallFirewall. His ranged support profile suits a Sorceress who stays put at the centre of her ring of flames.

Raheir steps in as the Reinforcement to soak damage and secure the moments when you have to leave the ring briefly to reposition, before getting back inside as fast as possible to keep dealing damage.

Paragon

The priority on the Paragon boards is to level AdeptAdept to 50 before anything else, then unlock all the Legendary Nodes before investing in the glyphs and their requirements. The remaining points are spread according to what you need: nodes around the glyphs generally give more damage, Maximum Life nodes strengthen survivability, and the remaining Rare nodes offer a bit of both before the last points go into main stats. For the glyphs themselves, the recommended progression is to take TacticianTactician, AdeptAdept and FlamefeederFlamefeeder to 25 first, one by one, then bring each to 50 in turn, before levelling them evenly to 150 once they are all at 50.

Staying Inside the Ring: the Key Mechanic of the Sorceress Firewall Build

All the power of this build rests on a mechanism that is simple to grasp but demanding to execute: as soon as enough Tal Rasha's Threefold Way charms are equipped, FirewallFirewall triggers automatically around you and forms a permanent ring of flames. As long as you stay inside that ring, your damage stays at its peak; the moment you step out, even for a few seconds, it collapses. That constraint forces you to rethink your movement: TeleportTeleport becomes the main tool for getting back inside the circle quickly rather than a simple mobility option, and it is better to pull the fight towards you than to chase enemies outside the ring.
