ENDGAME | PIT PUSH | SPEED FARM VOLEUR
Build Overview
The Rogue
Dance of Knives build by @M1PY brings back the absolute Right-Click farmer in Season 13 — pure spin-to-win mechanics, where every step automatically launches piercing blades around your character. Updated on May 2, 2026 for Lord of Hatred (patch 3.0.1), this Rank #1 Mobalytics build combines
Poison Imbuement or
Cold Imbuement with the Grenade upgrade for
Dance of Knives to leverage every aspect and grenade talisman synergy available this season.
The core idea is simple: maximize Dance of Knives damage exclusively while keeping full mobility. Combined with
Dark Shroud, the skill now exceeds the 200% Movement Speed cap, literally turning every map into a farming track. The build supports 4 distinct variants — No Bugs, Poison Starter,
The Umbracrux and Push (Cold) — covering Infernal Hordes speed farming, high-Pit pushing and economy starter. Heads-up: the Umbracrux variant is temporarily disabled by a bug at patch launch; the No Bugs variant takes over during this block, and we'll explain further how to swap between poison and cold depending on the content you're targeting.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Right-Click Build with full mobility, ideal for Infernal Hordes speed farming
- Controller friendly thanks to
Dance of Knives auto-targeting - Beginner friendly, simple rotation to memorize
- 200% Movement Speed cap broken via
Dark Shroud - Rogue Combo Points system fully exploited via
Blade Shift
Cons
- Umbracrux variant temporarily disabled due to a bug in patch 3.0.1
- No Warlock or Paladin scaling — weaker absolute pushing than the S13 meta
- Survival relies on Dark Shroud timing in high Pit

Loot Table
The mythic backbone of the No Bugs variant revolves around two axes: maximizing
Dance of Knives damage and ensuring survival in pushing.
Heir of Perdition remains the number-one priority — its massive Core Skill boost and Greater Affixes (2 to Core Skills ·
Worldly Endurance — Armor) make it an undisputed helm.
Ring of Starless Skies and El'Druin, Sword of Justice round out the Mythic priority, followed by
Tyrael's Might which provides the 25 Damage Reduction Greater Affix essential for high Pit content.
On the unique side, Shrouded Gift is central: equipped on the legs, it automatically triggers
Concealment and activates Berú of the Sightless on every
Dash, removing the need to manage the buff manually. For a starter version without mythics, M1PY recommends prioritizing
Cowl of the Nameless on the helm — its Imbuement Skills bonus makes it unbeatable while waiting for Heir of Perdition. If you're farming bossing, swap Cowl of the Nameless for
Saboteur's Signet as a secondary slot: its Attack Speed scales the base damage of Dance of Knives linearly.
Legendary aspects structure the amplification chain:
Aspect of Imitated Imbuement on the gloves doubles the effect of your Poison Imbuement via a second independent imbuement, and
Aspect of Elemental Fate consolidates the multiplier. On the ranged weapon, Aspect of Channeling sustains energy during the rotation. The priority Greater Affixes for each slot are already visible in the interactive grid above — focus your rerolls on "Ranks to Dance of Knives" on the gloves and "Damage over Time Multiplier" on the weapons for the Poison variant.

Build Variants
The build exposes four variants covering all of Season 13's content. The No Bugs variant is the default version since the Umbracrux bug in patch 3.0.1: it combines Poison Imbuement,
Dark Shroud at rank 15 and
Concealment for smooth Infernal Hordes farming. For early-season players without mythics, Poison Starter uses the same rotation but relies on Cowl of the Nameless and Saboteur's Signet instead of mythics — it's the ideal entry ramp to the full build.
The
The Umbracrux variant exploits the unique Umbracrux as a secondary weapon to summon a stationary totem that massively amplifies damage in an area — currently blocked by a temporary bug but to unlock as soon as Blizzard pushes the hotfix. Finally, Push (Cold) replaces Poison Imbuement with
Cold Imbuement to stack Vulnerable and Freeze via
Aspect of Imitated Imbuement; it's the version dedicated to Pit 150+ runs where the control layer compensates the lack of pure Warlock/Paladin DPS.
Gameplay Tips
The Poison No Bugs rotation starts with
Blade Shift to instantly generate Combo Points and sustain Energy regeneration via the Range of Motion and Energy upgrades. Then activate Poison Imbuement, trigger Dark Shroud for the damage reduction stacks, and chain Concealment for the Movement Speed bonus and Vulnerable application via Concealing Fate. On empty maps,
Dash lets you traverse quickly — combined with Shrouded Gift, it automatically retriggers Concealment and Berú of the Sightless. Once in contact with enemies, it's pure Spin2Win with Dance of Knives — the skill keeps charging in the background while you move.
For the Umbracrux variant (after the hotfix), the rotation differs significantly: Dash into the pack,
Smoke Grenade to spawn the Umbracrux totem, the Silhouette Stealth activates Berú of the Sightless, then
Shadow Clone positions itself on the totem to multiply zone DPS. Then activate Cold Imbuement to trigger Aspect of Imitated Imbuement and apply Vulnerable + Freeze, then spin with Dance of Knives. Use Concealment only if you're out of Smoke Grenade charges to respawn the totem.
Skill Tree
Mercenary
The hired mercenary is Raheir, the Shieldbearer — his tank role and crowd control align perfectly with the build's spin-to-win rhythm. His allocated passives cover
Shield Charge to engage packs quickly and
Provoke to magnetize enemies into the Dance of Knives radius, optimizing the multi-target multiplier.
For reinforcement, M1PY hires Varyana, the Berserker Crone, whose signature skill
Bloodthirst provides a recurring offensive buff triggered on your critical hits. The synergy loops naturally: your constant criticals via
Concealing Fate feed Varyana, who returns Healing and Berserking to your character.
Paragon and Glyphs
The Paragon board spans five plates and 333 invested points to reach level 300. The progression starts on the Start plate with
Versatility at rank 150, then continues to Eldritch Bounty where
Bane capitalizes on Poison Imbuement and amplifies Damage over Time. The Cheap Shot plate with
Efficacy reinforces critical hits and Vulnerable damage, two conditions always active via Concealing Fate.
Then comes Cunning Stratagem where
Tracker amplifies ranged damage — crucial since Dance of Knives technically counts as a ranged attack. The final loop is closed by Danse Macabre with
Canny which scales on critical hits. The Str 450 / Int 425 / Dex 653 / Will 152 distribution must be respected strictly — the thresholds unlock adjacent board bonuses and rare Dexterity nodes that multiply Dance of Knives DPS.
