Build Overview

This Rogue build for Season 15 puts everything into Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows as its main endgame skill, with the author @p4wnyhof stating his ambition to deal damage without relying on any bug or exploit. The character starts out in the 1-70 leveling range with a simple loop built around HeartseekerHeartseeker to generate Energy, BarrageBarrage to spend it continuously, then switches to Shadow ImbuementShadow Imbuement against groups or Poison ImbuementPoison Imbuement against bosses and elites. Once Torment is reached, the rotation changes nature: DashDash is used to stack Ferocity before unleashing volleys of Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows, while ConcealmentConcealment guarantees the critical strike chance between two waves of enemies. The talisman completes the setup with the Beru of the Narrow Eye charm set, which directly boosts the Rogue's marksman skills. As of this writing, the author notes that the build is still being fine-tuned and tested live, which explains why some settings may still change.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Readable endgame rotation: build Ferocity with DashDash, unleash Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows, lock in critical hits with ConcealmentConcealment
  • 0 Bugs & Exploits claimed by the author: the damage comes solely from mechanics intended by the game
  • The Beru of the Narrow Eye charm set adds extra ranks directly useful to marksman skills
  • Two Energy thresholds (225 then 300) let you progress the build without rebuilding it entirely
  • Simple 1-70 leveling loop to execute with HeartseekerHeartseeker and BarrageBarrage

Weaknesses

  • Build still presented as a work in progress by its author
  • Requires a high Energy baseline (up to 300) before running at full strength in Torment
  • Finding optimal gear means relying on a dedicated community loot filter
  • Little active survivability outside of DashDash and ConcealmentConcealment

At 1-70, the High Velocity AspectHigh Velocity Aspect grafted onto a legendary amulet is enough to support the leveling loop. In Torment, the gear is built around the uniques Beastfall BootsBeastfall Boots, Scoundrel's KissScoundrel's Kiss and the weapon AzurewrathAzurewrath, completed by a series of legendary aspects: Aspect of MightAspect of Might and Aspect of Heavenly StrengthAspect of Heavenly Strength for maximum resource, Vehement Brawler's AspectVehement Brawler's Aspect on the gloves, Aspect of Debilitating Toxins on the pants, Aspect of Aftermath on the amulet, Aspect of Inner CalmAspect of Inner Calm on a ring and Aspect of Frozen MemoriesAspect of Frozen Memories on the offhand. The "Early Torment" variant (225 Energy minimum) favors cooldown reduction on the gloves, while the "300 Energy" variant switches to critical strike damage and vulnerable damage multipliers once the Energy threshold is reached. To find these pieces faster from Torment 6 onward, the author recommends relying on a dedicated community loot filter rather than sorting through your inventory by hand.

Horadric Seal S15

The Horadric Seal used here is a generic legendary seal, chosen solely for the extra unique charm slot it provides. Most of the talisman's power comes from the six socketed charms: five of them complete the Beru of the Narrow Eye set, which grants extra ranks to the Rogue's marksman skills and increases available maximum resource, while the sixth, Gladiator's Triumph, rounds out the loadout without being part of the main set.

Gameplay Tips

At 1-70, the loop stays simple: generate Energy with HeartseekerHeartseeker, spam BarrageBarrage continuously, then imbue your bow with Shadow ImbuementShadow Imbuement against groups or Poison ImbuementPoison Imbuement against bosses and elites. In Torment, the rotation changes: use DashDash four times in a row to reach 16 stacks of Ferocity, then unleash Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows continuously, slip in ConcealmentConcealment between two waves to guarantee the critical strike chance, and fire a HeartseekerHeartseeker every 4 seconds to pull enemies together and trigger the talisman set's bonus. The "Early Torment" version runs with at least 225 Energy and a Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows cooldown of around 15 seconds, while the "300 Energy" version needs at least 300 Energy for a longer cooldown, around 20 seconds. From Torment 6 onward, the author recommends activating a dedicated community loot filter to speed up the search for missing pieces.

Talent Tree

Mercenary S15

Subo serves as the main mercenary in this build, with his signature skills Wire TrapWire Trap and Cover FireCover Fire along with two allocated passives. His usefulness lies mainly in the crowd control and ranged pressure he provides, complementing a Rogue fully focused on Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows damage.

His presence lets the Rogue focus on the Ferocity and shooting rotation without having to single-handedly manage the enemies grouped up by HeartseekerHeartseeker.

Paragon

The Paragon plan relies on five boards — Start, Cheap Shot, Eldritch Bounty, Exploit Weakness and Danse Macabre — each running a glyph pushed to rank 150/100: VersatilityVersatility, ControlControl, CannyCanny, CombatCombat and DeviousDevious. This layout aims for a balance between survivability, crowd control and damage amplification for the Ferocity / Rain of ArrowsRain of Arrows rotation described above.
