Six outfits, zero new playable characters. Since October 20, 2026, the Dead by Daylight Diablo collection has been on sale, and it changes nothing about killer or survivor powers. According to Diabloz, it is a purely cosmetic crossover, not a chapter.
Dead by Daylight Diablo: three demons on three existing killers
Behaviour Interactive picked three Diablo IV figures and grafted them onto killers already in the game. According to Diabloz and Game8, the split is as follows:
- Lilith becomes an outfit for The Artist, in Visceral rarity, with an exclusive Mori (the killer's finishing execution) and unique menu animations.
- Belial, the Lord of Lies, dresses The Dredge.
- Mephisto takes the look of The Nurse.
Diabloz states that the three killer outfits fall under the Visceral or Ascended tiers. Only Lilith's is explicitly listed as Visceral. The rarity of the other two is not given.

The chosen classes: Sorcerer, Barbarian, Necromancer
On the survivor side, the collection draws on three Diablo IV classes. Zarina Kassir wears a Sorcerer outfit, David King the Barbarian one, and Taurie Cain a Necromancer look. Game8 and Diabloz agree on these three names.
Their names, shown on the Bloody Disgusting page: Necromancer's Duty, Sorcerer's Perspective and Barbarian's Plight. Five classes are missing: Rogue, Druid, Spiritborn, Paladin and Warlock, and Behaviour has not explained the selection. If you follow Season 16 and its October 20 PTR, the crossover lands the same week, with no announced link.

Why Lilith on The Artist works
Lilith is the central figure of Diablo IV, and The Artist's Visceral outfit is the one that gets the most care: exclusive Mori, menu animations. That is a player's reading, not an explanation from Behaviour. Game8 also notes that Lilith is the only real highlight of the collection, even if her Mori left some fans wanting more.
On the voice side, Diabloz says Caroline Faber reprises the role of Lilith. Ray Porter and Steve Blum also take part in the crossover, though the site does not name their characters. In Diablo IV, Lilith left center stage long ago: the game is at patch 3.2.3 of its fifteenth season.
A lukewarm welcome for the Dead by Daylight Diablo crossover
Game8 describes a mixed reception. Belial on The Dredge is praised for its design, but judged hard to recognize, neither as Belial nor as a killer. Mephisto on The Nurse divides people the most: a stiff posture, and extra arms that add almost nothing to the animations. The survivor outfits come across as generic fantasy costumes.
The main complaint: Diablo gets a collection, not a chapter. Fans hoped for an original power, perks and a map inspired by New Tristram. Diabloz says it bluntly: "a cosmetic crossover rather than a full chapter". Players also suggested figures like Deckard Cain, Leah, Prince Aidan or Tyrael.

Price, announcement and dates
For the Dead by Daylight Diablo collection, pricing remains unclear. Diabloz writes that Behaviour has not provided full price details for each outfit, and neither Game8 nor Bloody Disgusting gives an amount in Auric Cells, the game's premium currency. Bloody Disgusting does confirm that the collection is available on PC and consoles.
The Dead by Daylight Diablo crossover was unveiled in June, during the game's 10th anniversary livestream, according to Game8. Four months of waiting for six costumes: in Sanctuary, even the cow armor demanded less patience.
