Thursday, October 22, 9:30 a.m., Porte de Versailles: the line to try the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, playable the day before release, is likely to be the longest of the day. Paris Games Week 2026 celebrates the show’s 15th anniversary from October 22 to 25, and organizers expect 316,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibitors. Before you pay for a ticket, here are the prices, the hours, what you can actually play, and the day when the crowd will be most bearable.
Dates, hours and prices: the budget for a day
The official website announces opening hours of 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Paris 15th arrondissement). The ticket office offers day tickets, two-day passes, the PGW Nights evening shows and a Business Class package. The Early Bird rate, valid until August 31, is over.
Day prices come from Sortir à Paris: €29 for an adult, €20 for ages 8 to 25, free under 8. Visitors with disabilities pay €20, and their companion gets in free. A family package (two adults, two young people) exists, but sources disagree on its price, between €70 and €80. Check the ticket office before you buy.

The math is simple for Paris Games Week 2026: two days for two adults already costs more than €100 before a single meal. One day is enough if you target two or three booths. Planning two days only makes sense for the esports finals or a demo marathon.
Games to play: what is worth the wait
Journal du Geek details the confirmed booths, and the lineup is concrete:
- Activision: the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, playable from October 22, the day before release.
- Bandai Namco: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve and Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
- Capcom: Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Mega Man: Dual Override, Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha, PRAGMATA, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and Street Fighter 6.
- Ubisoft: Rayman Legends Retold on more than 20 stations, a Kung Foot area and Heroes of Might & Magic III Remake.
- Game France Pavilion: 300 m² (about 3,200 sq ft) for some thirty French studios, with more than 12 stage presentations a day, including Cairn, Windblown and The Witch’s Bakery.
My pick: Capcom, for the density. Seven games on a single booth is the best ratio of demos to minutes walked. The French pavilion is the place to find what will never show up in TV ads, with teams on hand to answer your questions.
Sortir à Paris adds Microids (Marsupilami 2, Garfield: Escape From Monday) and says Nintendo and PlayStation will be there, without detailing their booths. Xbox is not mentioned in any of the sources consulted. On the Switch 2 side, the useful question is whether the September 9 Nintendo Direct will have playable follow-ups on site, for example for Ocarina of Time, due October 29. Nothing announces it so far.

Esports, stages and evening shows at the Dôme de Paris
VL Media confirms a bigger esports stage and guest creators, with rapper Bigflo as artistic advisor. The detailed schedule of the finals was not published in the sources consulted: if a specific final is why you are coming, wait for the official program before picking a day. The only dated competition event is the broadcast of the Street Fighter League EMEAA 2026, noted by Sortir à Paris.
The PGW Nights evening shows take place at the Dôme de Paris, with tickets sold separately, from 8 p.m., according to Journal du Geek:
- Thursday 22: Curieux.exe, an orchestral concert where ZeratoR, Marianne and PV Nova see their universes reworked in new arrangements, €35 to €50.
- Friday 23: Game of Rôles, a live tabletop role-playing game run by FibreTigre with MisterMV, €35 to €50.
- Saturday 24: mystery night, program not revealed, price not confirmed.
What’s new this year: app, badges and the city
Running through Paris Games Week 2026 is a life-size game inside the show: the official app offers challenges, collector badges and rewards. Bring a full battery. The show also adds an « Outside the Walls » program, with activations alongside cultural players in Paris and the Île-de-France region in the weeks before the event, a first of its kind according to the organizers.
The announced zones cover Made in France, manga, retro gaming, the Campus (training programs), cosplay and esports. The new art direction, by studio aPART and illustrator Massy Puster, introduces a robot mascot. For a visitor, the only practical consequence is spotting the booths on the poster and in the app.
Paris Games Week 2026: when to go and how to get there
No source publishes daily attendance. My advice for Paris Games Week 2026 therefore rests on the calendar: the show falls during the All Saints’ Day school holidays, the weekend will be the densest, and Thursday concentrates the Call of Duty effect. Friday 23 is the best bet to play without waiting an hour per demo. Arrive at 9:30 a.m. sharp and start with the most coveted booth.
To get there, JDS and the official website point to metro line 12 (Porte de Versailles), line 8 (Balard), tram T3a and bus 80. The official website also mentions on-site parking and a Vélib’ bike station on Avenue Ernest-Renan. RATP is a partner of the event, but I could not check the details of its offer: look at its page before buying a transit ticket.
