Build Overview
This warrior titan build built around
Plasma Blast relies on a simple principle: deal a single hit so massive that no boss in the game can survive it.
Plasma Blast, the crossbow skill with the highest hit damage in the game, charges for about 3 seconds before firing an energy projectile that pierces every enemy in a straight line. With over 20 million damage in a single hit, this build reaches double the threshold needed to one-shot the toughest pinnacle boss in the game.
The Titan ascendancy brings both damage and defense: the
notable Hulking Form node (Hulking Form) increases the effect of all small passive tree nodes by 50%, which multiplies every investment (damage, armour, speed, area of effect). Thanks to massive armour that also applies to elemental damage, the build comfortably tanks the highest tier of content while staying smooth in mapping.
Important note: since the damage margin is enormous, gear can be largely simplified (generic market items) while still keeping enough damage for the one-shot — which makes this build accessible to players of all levels.
Strengths / Weaknesses
✅ Strengths
- Guaranteed one-shot: over 20 million damage in a single hit, double the threshold needed to kill the tankiest boss in the game
- Very tanky: massive armour (over 21,000) that also applies to elemental damage thanks to crafts on the chest armour
- Accessible to all skill levels: the damage margin allows playing with very budget-friendly gear
- Versatile:
Galvanic Shards ensures smooth mapping clear speed alongside the boss one-shot from
Plasma Blast - Easy-to-play ascendancy: Titan offers damage and defense without complex mechanics to manage
❌ Weaknesses
- Charge time:
Plasma Blast requires about 3 seconds of charge-up before firing, which demands good timing against the most mobile bosses - Berserk drains life: rage generation comes from a constant loss of life, requiring good regeneration (ornate armour) to avoid putting yourself at risk
- Specific crafts required: the « % of armour also applies to elemental damage » roll on several pieces requires a bit of crafting investment

SkillSet 1
6 skills • 29 gemmesRecommended Equipment
- Crossbow: high physical damage + percentage of damage gained as extra lightning damage (perfect essence of electricity in 3rd prefix) + base critical hit chance in suffix (mandatory to trigger the one-shot); +5 levels to projectile skills as an optional bonus
- Body Armour: high spirit roll, lots of armour, and percentage of armour that also applies to elemental damage — craft it on an ornate plate to benefit from its life regeneration (essential to withstand
Berserk) - Amulet: spirit, +3 levels to all projectile skills, critical hit chance, life — apply the
notable Vengeful Fury enchantment so that rage also increases armour - Helmet: critical hit chance, life, percentage of armour applied to elemental damage, with a soul core tzamoto s soul core of ferocity socketed (+4 maximum rage)
- Gloves: critical damage bonus, chaos resistance, life, and a high precision roll (allows removing precision points from the passive tree to reinvest them into damage)
- Boots: generic market boots with tier 1 movement speed, life and resistances
- Rings: flat elemental damage, life, resistances and attributes — one of the two can have evasion (converted to armour thanks to the
keystone Iron Reflexes keystone) - Belt:
Ingenuity recommended if the rings are of good quality (amplifies their elemental mods, which a rare belt cannot offer) - Jewels: a corrupted
Heart of the Well (extra lightning damage gained + increased armour gain from the equipped body armour) and a rare jewel time lost emerald (nearby notables grant increased critical hit chance and effect); the remaining slots are filled with classic rare jewels (attack critical chance and damage, increased damage with crossbows)
Gameplay Tips
- Weapon swap: always keep your crossbow equipped on weapon set 2 to benefit from the damage bonuses of
Rigwalds Ferocity - Crit target: aim for 50% base critical strike chance;
Ambush doubles it against full-life enemies, which is more than enough since
Plasma Blast ends the fight anyway - Boss rotation: charge
Plasma Blast at range by timing it in advance (3-second charge) then release for the one-shot - Managing Berserk: watch your life regeneration (ornate armour) before activating
Berserk so you don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger - Mapping: use
Galvanic Shards as your main clear skill, supported by
Herald of Thunder and
Herald of Ash for area of effect - Budget: this build tolerates very cheap gear — the critical mods (base crit roll on the crossbow, % armour to elemental damage) are the only ones really worth prioritizing
Why This Warrior Titan Plasma Blast Build Works So Well
The strength of this warrior titan plasma blast build lies in a simple
Leverage effect: the
Plasma Blast charge converts your entire damage investment (passive tree, support gems, crit) into a single oversized hit. Since the margin over the one-shot threshold is huge (double what’s needed on the toughest boss in the game), every gear upgrade becomes a comfort rather than a necessity — which is why this build is accessible on any budget.
Titan Ascendancy: Hulking Form, the Build’s Key Node
The ascendancy is built around 4 nodes.
notable Stone Skin grants 50% additional armour from your equipped chest armour, which already accounts for more than 90% of the character’s total armour.
notable Colossal Capacity doesn’t grant anything by itself, but is essential to unlock
notable Hulking Form right behind it: this node is considered the strongest in the game, as it increases the effect of ALL small passive tree nodes by 50% — whether damage, tankiness, speed, or area of effect. Finally,
notable Mysterious Lineage adds 15% total life. A very standard ascendancy choice for a Titan, but devastatingly effective thanks to Hulking Form’s multiplier effect.
Passive Skill Tree: Damage, Armor and Reload Speed
The passive tree focuses on attack and elemental damage, increased crossbow damage, crossbow reload speed, critical hit chance and damage, increased armour, movement speed, attack area of effect, and a lot of strength. Thanks to
notable Hulking Form, each of these small nodes has its effect increased by 50%, which makes investing in the tree particularly worthwhile on this build.
The Build’s Essential Jewels
Three types of jewels make up the setup. The
Heart of the Well (a desecrated jewel with custom mods) is mandatory with two essential mods: additional percentage of lightning damage gained, and increased armour gained from the equipped body armour. A rare jewel time lost emerald with « nearby notables grant increased critical hit chance » and « nearby notables have increased effect » is then strategically placed on the tree to maximize its effect. Finally, all remaining jewel sockets are filled with classic rare jewels targeting attack critical hit chance, critical damage bonus, increased crossbow damage and increased attack damage.
