Build Overview
P4wnyhof’s Archon Djinn Blaster is a Sorceress build with the Disciple of Varashta ascendancy, built entirely around minions and
Commandment skills. Its originality lies in the simultaneous
Invocation of three Djinn —
notable Barya of Kelari,
notable Barya of Ruzhan and
notable Barya of Navira — which transform the character into a true orchestrator of chaos.
The core of the build revolves around
notable Archon of Undeath, a buff that completely removes the cooldown of Djinn skills. In practice, you spam your command skills without any interruption: boss rooms melt instantly and, during Mapping, you cruise on a permanent
Wave of Frost. Even better, you don’t even need to cast
Ice Nova yourself — thanks to the
Cast on Minion Death mechanic, your minions chain-explode and automatically trigger the spell all around you.
On the survivability side, the build relies on
keystone Chaos Inoculation (full immunity to chaos damage) paired with a large Energy Shield pool exceeding 8,000 points, instantly recharged on demand via Navira. The whole setup remains surprisingly accessible: a budget of roughly one divine is enough to blast Tier 15 maps, while leaving virtually unlimited room to scale for those who want to invest more.
Strengths / Weaknesses
✅ Strengths
- Exceptional Clear speed: zero cooldown on Djinn, the screen explodes continuously on a wave of frost.
- Excellent survivability: over 8,000 Energy Shield,
keystone Chaos Inoculation and instant recharge via Navira. - Accessible budget: viable from around one divine, ideal for starting the season.
- Semi-automated gameplay:
Ice Nova triggers on its own via
Cast on Minion Death, minimal clicks during Mapping. - Near-unlimited scaling: damage can double with more minion skill levels, Spirit and Time Loss jewels.
- High mobility: no movement speed penalty thanks to Puppet Master charges, boots with 35% movement speed.
❌ Weaknesses
- Technical build: many gems, minions and interactions to master before running at full efficiency.
- Dominion dependency: optimal zero cooldown requires the Contempt suffering in isolation jewel (around 11 divines).
- Limiting Spirit: at 349 Spirit, it is impossible to add
Despair or
Heightened Curse; further optimization requires costly gear. - Visual overload: the number of active minions can be overwhelming during the first few hours of play.

Wolf Pack, Spirit, and skill levels — the build’s key piece, around one divine for +1, up to +4 minion skills for big budgets. - Rings : two Ever-grasping rings (25% bonus chaos damage for your allies; the chaos penalty doesn’t affect you thanks to
keystone Chaos Inoculation). - Helmet : +2 minion skill levels with maximum Energy Shield.

- Body Armour : maximum Energy Shield and Spirit.
- Focus : +2 minion skill levels (the most expensive piece, around 6 divines).
- Belt : maximum Energy Shield, dual resistance, and ideally Strength.
- Gloves : resistances and Energy Shield.

- Key Jewel : Contempt suffering in isolation to unlock the Dominion passive.
Gameplay Tips
- Activate notable Archon of Undeath : before a boss, spam
notable Barya of Ruzhan (zero mana cost, zero cooldown) to quickly enter shadow form. - Stack your damage : once Archon is active, maintain
notable Barya of Kelari — its damage climbs with each consecutive cast, up to +300%. - Spread the frost : while mapping, use Navira to shatter frozen ground and extend the cold to the entire screen.
- Recharge on demand : after taking a hit, recast Navira to instantly restart your Energy Shield recharge.
- Leveling : play the sword version (
notable Barya of Ruzhan) until the 4th ascendancy, then switch to the full Navira setup.
The build engine: Archon of Undeath and zero cooldown
Everything revolves around one buff:
notable Archon of Undeath. While it is active, your Djinn skills have no cooldown whatsoever — you chain them as long as your mana holds. To keep it permanently active, the build allocates the hidden Dominion passive through the Contempt suffering in isolation jewel (around 11 divines). Dominion reduces the effect of Archon buffs on you by 50%, but removes their recovery period: you reactivate Archon instantly, again and again.
If you don’t yet have the budget for the jewel, invest instead in passives that increase the Archon buff duration and reduce its recovery period. You’ll recover Archon quickly enough to maintain smooth gameplay, while working toward affording Dominion.
Cast on Minion Death: automating Ice Nova
The core trick of the build is to make your own minions die in a loop to trigger spells for free. The
Wolf Pack summoned by
Wolf Pack is linked to
Infernal Legion I: the wolves burn and die on their own.
Minion Instability makes them explode at 35% life remaining, while
Essence Harvest returns mana to you with each explosion.
Each minion death feeds
Cast on Minion Death, which automatically casts
Ice Nova around you. Combined with Powered by Verisium, this setup generates the cold infusions needed for every
Ice Nova to leave chilled ground — the foundation of your clearing and your damage. You advance on a wave of frost without barely pressing the spell key.
The three Djinn: Kelari, Ruzhan and Navira
The build summons three Djinn with complementary roles.
notable Barya of Ruzhan is primarily used to activate
notable Archon of Undeath: with no cost or cooldown, you spam it to trigger the buff at will.
notable Barya of Kelari is your main damage dealer: each consecutive cast of its command skill increases damage, up to +300%.
notable Barya of Navira completes the setup by shattering chilled ground and spreading frost across the entire screen. Its skill also acts as a survival button: it instantly restarts your Energy Shield recharge, making you extremely difficult to kill once Archon is in place.
Progression and leveling
P4wnyhof took this character from level 65 all the way to the Arbiter of Divinity. Until the 4th ascension (around level 85), he was playing a sword version with
notable Barya of Ruzhan, which erupts runes on the ground into tornadoes, supported by Kelari’s skills for clearing.
It is only after the 4th ascension and obtaining the right amulet that switching to the full Navira setup (and Dominion) becomes relevant. There is no need to rush: the starter version is already more than sufficient to progress comfortably toward endgame.
Optimizing the build: spirit, jewels and alloys
The main bottleneck remains spirit. At 349 spirit, you settle for
Blasphemy with
Temporal Chains to slow enemies; to add
Despair (which reduces chaos resistance) or Heightened Curse, you need to climb above 400 spirit, which requires significantly more expensive gear.
Beyond that, the scaling is virtually infinite: additional levels of minion skills on the amulet, focus and sceptre, Time Loss jewels with a large radius for notable passives, or risky alloy crafts (such as the rune biter’s alloy which adds five charges of Puppet Master). These optimizations are reserved for big budgets, but the build remains excellent well before reaching them.
