0.5.4, 0.5.4b, 0.5.4f: seven weeks of patch notes in a single article

Between June 25 and August 13, GGG published three separate revisions of what remains, in a player's mind, a single version: 0.5.4, then 0.5.4b, then 0.5.4f. Combined, they add up to 170 lines across ten sections. The centerpiece fits in one sentence from GGG itself: "This patch introduces a brand new Atlas Passive Tree for Runes of Aldur." Around it, the rest is a stretch of fixes spread over seven weeks, from Skill targeting to end-of-act boss fights.

Version 0.5.4 Date 2026-06-25
  • THE HEADLINE CHANGEA whole talent tree devoted to Expedition, unlocked boss by boss through the "The Grand Expedition" questline. Alongside it, a new currency, Liquid Verisium, which starts a Runic Remnant Encounter on demand.
  • A BUG FIXED SEVEN WEEKS LATERThe bug that made Skills target the wrong direction after locking onto an enemy, which GGG itself describes as "responsible for a large number of player reports of incorrect targeting behaviour," wasn't fixed until the August 13 revision.
  • LATE-GAME BOSSES EASED UPKulemak, the Arbiter of Divinity, the Arbiter of Ash and Phya each get wider reaction windows or less punishing phases, in the July 2 0.5.4b revision.
  • A CRAFTING RESTRICTIONNine individually named corruption Augments can no longer be socketed into a Corrupted or Sanctified item, which then becomes unmodifiable. It's the only line in the patch that closes off a possibility rather than opening one.
  • STABILITY, THROUGHOUTAcross the three revisions combined, GGG counts 14 client-crash fixes and 10 instance-crash fixes: 24 stability fixes in seven weeks.

Official notes combined from three Path of Exile 2 forum threads: 0.5.4 Patch Notes (June 25, 2026), 0.5.4b Patch Notes (July 2) and 0.5.4f Patch Notes (August 13). This article groups them under a single version number, 0.5.4: a reader searches for "patch 0.5.4", never "0.5.4f". Official GGG patch notes

Runes of Aldur Changes

14

This is the patch's centerpiece: an Atlas Passive Tree entirely dedicated to Expedition, unlocked boss by boss through the "The Grand Expedition" questline. Alongside it come a new currency, Liquid Verisium, which starts a Remnant on demand, and Grand Expeditions now loaded with one to two extra Map modifiers. Two unique bosses, Uhtred and Vorana, lose part of their cold resistance: it's the only line in this section that directly touches a fight's difficulty.

Fixes and additions

  • Added an Expedition Atlas Passive Skill Tree. You can earn Atlas Passive Points for this by defeating each Boss in The Grand Expedition questline.
  • Added a new currency, Liquid Verisium: Immediately start a Runic Remnant Encounter with a random Runic Inscription This can be purchased from Farrow using Verisium, after allocating the new Feeling Lucky? Expedition Atlas Passive Skill.
  • Grand Expeditions now have 1 to 2 Expedition Map Modifiers applied to the area. The following new Grand Expedition modifiers have also been added:
  • Increased number of Runic Monster Markers
  • Runic Monsters are Duplicated
  • Area contains additional Remnants
  • Remnants now randomly choose which Rune slot will propagate to further Monsters in Expeditions and Grand Expeditions, rather than randomly which Rune will propagate based on each recipe.
  • Added a highlight to the Rune that will be propagated upon completing a Remnant in the Runeshape Recipes list.
  • The chance for Runic Monsters from Expedition and Grand Expeditions to be Rare now correctly scales with increased to Monster Rarity and Rare chance.
  • The Aberration now stops its arena Meteor Rain on death.
  • Reduced the Cold Resistances of Uhtred, The Stardrinker and Vorana, Last to Fall.
  • Added an icon to the Endgame Map to indicate which Ocean Maps are Grand Expeditions.
  • Thaumaturgic Fluxes now counts towards the "Any Flux" condition for The Artisan Challenge.
  • Thaumaturgic Fluxes now appear in the Fluxes section of the Currency Exchange.

🌌 Endgame Overhaul

Endgame Changes

8

Four new currency items, Orbs of Sacrifice, can drop after defeating Atziri, the Red Queen: they upgrade a Corrupted Enchantment at the cost of randomly removing an Explicit Modifier. The rest of the section eases up on the Arbiter of Ash (reduced Chaos Damage bonus, buff duration cut from 30 to 20 seconds) and lowers the resistances of several Pinnacle Bosses, which GGG itself calls "unintentionally too high."

Fixes and additions

  • After killing Atziri, the Red Queen, her Vault now has a chance to drop 1 of 4 new Orb of Sacrifice currency items. These currencies upgrade Corrupted Enchantments on items, at the cost of randomly removing an Explicit Modifier.
  • Reduced the Chaos Damage bonus granted to The Arbiter of Ash when he plunges his sword into the Chaos Sphere.
  • Reduced the duration of the damage bonuses The Arbiter of Ash gains after plunging his sword into the Chaos or Cold Spheres from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Improved the visual timing of the Orbs of Divinity being orb-sorbed and granting the Divinity buff in the Arbiter of Divinity boss fight.
  • A number of the Pinnacle Bosses have had their resistances lowered as they were unintentionally too high.
  • Reduced the damage of the Lightless Serpent's Burning Ground in the Vessel of Kulemak boss fight.
  • Doryani's Refined Formula Atlas Master option now additionally has Grand Expeditions have only 5 Explosives. This overrides the maximum of 1 for Expeditions in these Maps.
  • Fixed a bug in Expedition where Runes were not being empowered by Power Runes that were propagated from previously unearthed Remnants.

Expedition Improvements

14

Fourteen lines, almost all bugs that kept an Expedition from wrapping up: invisible and invincible monsters, underground-area loot redirected to the wrong Remnant, five Grand Expedition zones that could be attempted indefinitely without ever succeeding. One line cuts the other way: Medved, Vorana, Uhtred and Olroth are now recognized as Powerful Map Bosses, which GGG says gives them "notably more Life" than before.

Fixes and additions

  • Logbooks that add a Boss Expedition now prioritise replacing regular Maps over Grand Expeditions.
  • Modifiers in Grand Expedition now appear in the map stats list when inside the area.
  • Added an additional option to the Expedition Atlas Tree "Double or Nothing" Notable, allowing players to select no change if desired.
  • Fixed a bug where some monsters in Expeditions could become invisible and invincible.
  • Fixed an issue where Medved, Vorana, Uhtred and Olroth were not considered Powerful Map Bosses. This means they also now have notably more Life.
  • Fixed a bug where Verisium Sentry minimap icons would not disappear upon activating them.
  • Fixed a bug where the Barren Atoll Map did not have a Grand Expedition Atlas Marker.
  • Fixed a bug where Underground Areas in Expeditions and Grand Expeditions could sometimes spawn with all their monsters dead. This would occur if the underground area was opened with an explosive that also activated a Remnant encounter and that Remnant encounter had the Life Rune. The monsters in the underground area would then have their life shared with the Remnant monsters and would thus be killed when the Remnant monsters were defeated. This was also why Styrn, Fallen Knight of Aldur would sometimes be dead when entering his cave.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from rerolling Remnants when using a controller.
  • Fixed a bug where the loot from Underground Areas in Expeditions and Grand Expeditions could be redirected to a Verisium Remnant. This would cause the monsters in the underground areas to appear to drop no items.
  • Fixed an issue where underground areas in Grand Expedition could sometimes be accessed without detonating the entrance.
  • Fixed a bug where Oath Rune could spawn monsters in blocked or inaccessible areas.
  • Fixed a bug with Verisium Remnants in Grand Expeditions where monsters (without Oath Rune necessarily) could spawn out-of-bounds and prevent completion.
  • Fixed a bug where the following Grand Expedition areas could be attempted infinitely: Craggy Peninsula, Lush Isle, Frigid Bluffs, Barren Atoll, and Exhumed Ruins.

Endgame Improvements

25

The section's longest stretch in the patch, twenty-five lines, is also its quietest: most of it fixes Atlas Passive Skills that weren't applying, from Lord of the Runes to Whispers of the Waving Grains to Trapped Subordinate. Two fixes tighten an overly generous effect instead: the Head of the Snake and Untold Histories options now only buff Pinnacle bosses, and Styrn loses the 50% bonus he was incorrectly receiving instead of the intended 35%. The item Rarity dropped by Monsters Corrupted through Offerings to the Queen doubles, meanwhile: from 50% to 100%.

Fixes and additions

  • The Queen in the Mists can now only have 1 active Whirling Slash at a time.
  • Monsters Corrupted by the Offerings to the Queen Atlas Passive now have 100% increased Rarity of Items Dropped (from 50%).
  • The Distant Origins Atlas Passive Skill now notifies the player when it reveals The Ezomyte Megaliths on their Atlas.
  • Fixed a bug where Doryani's Head of the Snake and Jado's Untold Histories Atlas Master options were applying their bonuses to non-Pinnacle Endgame bosses.
  • Fixed a bug where Jado's Untold Histories Atlas Master option was not applying to Expedition Bosses, except for Styrn, Fallen Knight of Aldur who was incorrectly receiving the 50% bonus instead of the 35% bonus.
  • Fixed a bug where Hilda's Gutting and Skinning Atlas Master options were not working on the Vessel of Kulemak, The Raven Trickster, and Atziri, the Red Queen.
  • Fixed a bug where the Lord of the Runes Atlas Passive Skill was not applying the toughness from Monster Effectiveness.
  • Fixed a bug where the Whispers of the Waving Grains Atlas Passive Skill was not applying.
  • Fixed a bug where the Trapped Subordinate Essence Atlas Passive Skill was not adding additional rare chance as expected.
  • Fixed an issue with the spawning condition of the Immured Fury. It is now able to spawn any time after you have completed 3 Corruption Nexuses, so you can complete additional Corruption Nexuses to find the boss if you failed to kill them the first time.
  • Fixed a bug where the From Distances Untold Cleansed Atlas Passive Skill was applying to non-Cleansed areas.
  • Fixed a bug where the Sole Purpose: Destruction Breach Atlas Passive Skill was not increasing damage of Skills granted by Ailith.
  • Fixed a bug where the Expanding Territory: Remnants and Warring Survivors Atlas Passive Skills, as well as Hilda's Mighty Prey and Patient Battue Atlas Master options were not applying their random chance to apply correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where the Training and Preparation Atlas Passive Skill did not apply when opening the Temple of Atziri from the Vaal Ruins in Act 3.
  • Fixed some cases where certain standalone bosses, such as those spawned by Summoning Circles could disable area transitions. This could cause areas such as the Sun Temple Map to be uncompletable.
  • Fixed a bug where maps with an extra completion objective would not complete if a player had completed the required objective but later died to the map boss and respawned.
  • Fixed a bug where Atziri's Temple was sometimes created at the wrong monster level.
  • Fixed an issue where some players were unable to get a replacement Origin Cradle from Doryani in the Tower of Origin, preventing the use of the Precursor Reactor.
  • Fixed an issue where Delirium Fog Banks spawned on Atlas nodes it shouldn't have.
  • Fixed an issue where Grand Delirium Mirrors in the Deforestation Map could not be interacted with.
  • Fixed a bug where areas could preview the incorrect amount of Deliriousness when being selected from the Atlas Map.
  • Simulacrum areas no longer preview any amount of Deliriousness when being selected from the Atlas Map. This is purely a visual change.
  • Simulacrum icons on the Atlas Map are now described as "Contains a manifestation of Delirium". This is purely a descriptive change.
  • Fixed a bug where some Azmerian Wisps could cause Breach encounters to be uncompletable.
  • Fixed a bug where players could get stuck in the Ancient Lexicon room in The Burning Monolith.

Unique items that grant a Skill now work from level 1 onward, at minimum potency, then scale up as the Skill's requirements are met: the Lifesprig wand cited by GGG is the example given. In exchange, three Uniques (Sacred Flame, Eventide Petals, Choir of the Storm) gain a level-55 requirement they didn't have before. The new Unique, The Master's Reach, rounds out the batch, along with two quality-of-life additions: holding Alt now shows a Currency item's count across the whole inventory, and a checkbox hides the "You have Died" screen.

Fixes and additions

  • Unique Items that grant Skills now use the lowest level of the Skill that you meet the requirements of when equipped, scaling up to the maximum described level on the item as you meet the Skill requirements. As an example, the Lifesprig Unique Wand that grants Level 20 Mana Drain is now able to be equipped at level 1, which will grant level 1 Mana Drain.
  • As a result of the above change, some Uniques have had a level requirement added:
  • The Sacred Flame Unique Sceptre now has a level requirement of 55.
  • The Eventide Petals Unique Amulet now has a level requirement of 55.
  • The Choir of the Storm Unique Amulet now has a level requirement of 55.
  • Added a new Unique item: The Master's Reach. This has a chance to drop from the Vessel of Kulemak Pinnacle Boss Fight when he's fully empowered by the Liches.
  • Holding Alt on a Currency item or stackable Fragment will now show the count of that Currency or Fragment within the same inventory, including trade windows.
  • Added a checkbox to hide the "You have Died" UI while you are dead.

Boss Improvements

29

Four late-game boss fights are retouched in the same pass, published July 2 under version number 0.5.4b. The Vessel of Kulemak loses its final-phase minion-summoning skill and spaces out its Volatiles into bursts, the Arbiter of Divinity gets larger hitboxes on its Clones and reliably-triggered voicelines ahead of every telegraphed hit, and Phya cuts down the firing rate of its Generator while removing its chilling ground. The pattern is the same across all four: more time to react, fewer silent traps. Tor Gul even loses the majority of its stun and freeze immunity windows.

What changes

  • The voiceline used by the Arbiter of Ash when doing his skill which creates lanes of fiery death now plays at the start of the skill, instead of after he rises up to the air.
  • The Dashing Sunders skill now correctly deals Physical damage, instead of Cold Damage.

Fixes and additions

  • Removed a majority of the stun and freeze immunity windows from all versions of the Tor Gul, the Defiler boss fight.
  • Improved the Minion Phase in the Tasgul, Swallower of Light boss fight.
  • Fixed a bug where It That Was Esh could sometimes fail to advance phases properly.
  • Fixed a bug where the Arbiter of Divinity could rarely drop loot in an unreachable location.
  • Defeating the Arbiter of Divinity now re-enables the exit elevator.
  • Extended the time the player has to get into the first Flame Seed during the combo skill that begins with the Large Laser in the Arbiter of Ash boss fight.
  • Made the following improvements to the Vessel of Kulemak boss fight:
  • Fixed an issue where it could get stuck after its Teleport Slam skill during the final phase of the fight.
  • Disabled the skill used during the final phase of the fight that summoned minions.
  • The Volatiles spawned during the final phase of the fight now spawn in bursts, with a significantly longer time between each burst. This is to allow for more time to fight and damage the boss.
  • Improved the visual feedback of the portals during the final phase. Further improvements to these will be coming at a later time.
  • Adjusted the blocking of the abyss in the middle of the arena during the final phase to more closely reflect the actual shape.
  • Fixed a bug where after killing the Vessel of Kulemak for the first time in a given instance, reviving at checkpoint would not put players in a new instance.
  • Made the following improvements to the Arbiter of Divinity boss fight:
  • The voicelines used by the boss are now guaranteed for his notable skills, as opposed to having a low chance to play.
  • The voicelines used by the boss now have less variance, so you can better correlate specific lines to specific skills.
  • The Divinity Clones created during the second phase of the fight now have a significantly larger hitbox allowing them to more easily be hit and killed while you have the Divinity buff.
  • Increased the windows of time between certain attacks and many of the combo skills to make dodge rolling these skills more consistent. This is also accompanied by a number of visual telegraphing improvements and reduction in aggression on target tracking speed.
  • Made the following improvements to the Phya, Sentinel of the Cradle boss fight in The Matriarch Halls:
  • Improved telegraphing and visuals of the Dashing Sunders skill.
  • Reduced the frequency and count of projectiles fired by the Generator.
  • Removed the chilling ground from the projectiles fired by the Generator.
  • The Generator will now stop firing projectiles during the Gravity Well and the Turret Sunder phases.
  • The Gravity Well phase will now correctly hit you if you fail to make it to the safe zones anywhere in the arena. Previously you could avoid this by hiding behind the spheres in the four corners.
  • Gravity Wells can no longer be created outside of the arena.
  • If you fail the Gravity Well phase while Shapeshifted you are now transformed back into a human and thrown into the air. Previously nothing would happen to your character and you'd just take damage without knowing why.
  • Improved the visuals of the 'dash' skills to look more like a teleport as intended.

General Changes

11

This section brings together two distinct moments: the opening line from June 25, announcing the new Runes of Aldur talent tree, and a list of fixes that wouldn't land until seven weeks later, in the August 13 revision. The most notable bug in that batch made Skills target the wrong direction if the enemy got locked onto right after the cast started, a flaw GGG itself acknowledges as "responsible for a large number of player reports of incorrect targeting behaviour." Four microtransaction fixes and three stability fixes (one client crash, two instance crashes) round out the batch.

Fixes and additions

  • This patch introduces a brand new Atlas Passive Tree for Runes of Aldur, expanded Expedition customisation, level-scaling Unique Items, a new currency item for Atziri’s Temple, and more.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause skills to target the wrong direction if you locked onto an enemy within a very short window of starting the skill. This bug was responsible for a large number of player reports of incorrect targeting behaviour.
  • Fixed a bug where some Boss Skills that grab you could lock you into an animation indefinitely if you were shapshifted when grabbed.
  • Fixed an issue where you would sometimes perform another Dodge Roll when releasing the input after sprinting.
  • Fixed a bug where shapeshifting would disable the energy waves created by Charged Staff from triggering once you swapped back to using a Quarterstaff.
  • Fixed a bug where the Evertree Map Device microtransaction did not visually bloom correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the tracking display of the Fateweaver's Map Device microtransaction could not be toggled when using a controller.
  • Fixed an issue where the icon for desecrated currency was not visible on the Tracking Scroll of Exotic Items microtransaction.
  • Fixed a bug where the Undying Syndicate Merchant microtransaction would not track gold outside of your hideout.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur on PlayStation.
  • Fixed two instance crashes.

General Changes and Improvements

3

Nine individually named corruption Augments (Astrid's Creativity, Katla's Gloom, Kolr's Hunt, and six others) can no longer be socketed into a Corrupted or Sanctified item, which then becomes unmodifiable. It's the one real restriction in the whole 0.5.4 patch, and it hits high-end crafting directly. The section's other two lines are minor: Gorian, the Moving Earth's tail is shortened so it stops blocking the Simulacrum, and the controller Trade Market UI gets several fixes.

Fixes and additions

  • The following Augments can no longer be socketed into Augment Sockets on Corrupted or Sanctified items, as those items would not be able to be modified: Astrid's Creativity, Katla's Gloom, Kolr's Hunt, Medved's Tending, Raven-Touched Shard, Serle's Triumph, Thrud's Might, Uhtred's Sidereus, and Vorana's Carnage.
  • Gorian, the Moving Earth has had his tail amputated to prevent it blocking other monsters or locations as it was causing Simulacrum to be unable to be completed.
  • Made various improvements and bug fixes to the Trade Market UI when using a controller.

Bug Fixes

24

Twenty-four unrelated fixes, from the Ritual Foretold Proliferation modifier (which was mistakenly increasing the cost of favours instead of reducing it) to Omen of Refreshment and Omen of Resurgence, which only triggered below 25% life instead of at the announced Low Life threshold. The "Fabled Showdown" Atlas Passive Skill changes shape along the way: it used to grant Rare items with two Modifiers, it now grants Tier 5 Rares with four Modifiers. Twelve stability fixes close out the section: eight client crashes, four instance crashes.

Fixes and additions

  • Fixed another instance which prevented the "This item's price differs from the one you initially travelled to this shop for" warning not appearing in certain situations.
  • Fixed a bug where Runes socketed into the Rune-only Sockets granted by the Martial Artist's Runic Meridians Passive Skill would not count towards the total number of Runes you had socketed.
  • Fixed a bug where Atlas Passive Skills were not applying to Abyssal Depths areas.
  • Fixed a bug which would allow selecting multiple Delirium Shards in Simulacrum without the Are you sure you want to do that? Delirium Atlas Passive allocated.
  • Fixed a bug where the additional rewards granted to Bosses from the Fabled Showdown Atlas Passive Skill was rewarding Rare items with 2 Modifiers, it now rewards a Tier 5 Rare item with four Modifiers.
  • Fixed a bug where the Gutting and Skinning Hilda Atlas Master option allowed you to scavenge Unique monsters that did not naturally drop items.
  • Fixed a bug where the Ritual Foretold Proliferation Modifier that grants Increased Tribute for Sacrificed Monsters was instead increasing the amount of Tribute needed to buy favours.
  • Fixed a bug where the player version of Spirit of the Owl possession was unable to spawn owls.
  • Fixed a bug where some players could not be able to select a Relic reward at the Medallion altar in the Valley of the Titans.
  • Fixed a bug where filling the Breach Splinter slot in the Fragment Tab was causing the Splinters to be converted to a Revelatory Wombgift.
  • Fixed a bug where Strongboxes with the Guarded by X packs of Rare Monsters could sometimes fail to open.
  • Fixed a bug where some Augments added stats in incorrect ways that overrode other values in some cases, most notably Rune of the Prism and Mind over Matter.
  • Fixed a bug where Omen of Refreshment and Omen of Resurgence were only consumed when current life was below 25% rather than actually on reaching low life like they describe.
  • Fixed a bug where the Monster Modifiers that created Fire, Cold or Lightning Explosions when the Rare's Minions die could be invisible.
  • Fixed a bug where Ritual could not spawn near the boss in the Slash Map.
  • Fixed a bug where the Savannah Map boss was unable to be damaged when in certain parts of the arena.
  • Fixed a bug where there were two "Arsonist" Passive Skills, one has been renamed to "Pyromancer".
  • Fixed a bug where you could not change the tier of Honour Guard Dodge Roll Effect microtransaction when playing with a controller.
  • Fixed a bug where you could become stuck in the UI inspect mode when using a controller.
  • Fixed a bug where character portraits were not displaying correctly in the local player list when playing on console.
  • Fixed a bug where Legacy of Ruby would incorrectly display as Legacy of Quicksilver in Spanish.
  • Fixed numerous audio issues in The Bodach boss fight.
  • Fixed 8 client crashes.
  • Fixed 4 instance crashes.

General Improvements and Bug Fixes

34

A grab-bag of thirty-four lines, with two fixes worth singling out: the Dominus' Providence Passive Skill wasn't granting the elemental weakness protection it promised (it now grants 30% reduced Curse effect instead), and Runic Reprieve's Quality was mistakenly increasing damage taken from a Blocked Hit instead of reducing it. Five client crashes and four instance crashes are fixed along the way, bringing the patch's stability total to 26 fixes across the five threads combined.

What changes

  • The Dominus' Providence Passive Skill no longer provides Unaffected by Elemental Weakness, which was not correctly applying. It now provides 30% reduced effect of Curses on you.

Fixes and additions

  • You can now copy a placed hideout decoration by right-clicking it, then left-clicking to place it. This allows you to quickly replicate Hideout Decorations if you need to place many of the same one.
  • Added support for upgrading runes using a Masterwork Rune in the Martial Artist's Runic Meridians inventory.
  • Advanced Runeshape recipes now indicate when a Skill reward level has reached its maximum.
  • Updated the Map Pin art for the Great White One to convey the fact that it now gives a quest reward that grants permanent character bonuses.
  • Added support for the Martial Artist's Way of the Stonefist Ascendancy Passive for the Master's Reach Unique Gloves.
  • Temporarily disabled the damage from the burning ground created by Birth of Fury Unique boots when equipped by a Rogue Exile.
  • The Orb of Sacrifice currency items have been added to the Currency Exchange.
  • Azmerian Wisps can now only be released from a monster once, the first time a monster is killed.
  • An inherent Skill that has had a Perfect Jeweller's Orb applied to it now correctly transfers all the sockets when transformed to Fists of Stone.
  • Passive Skills allocated from using the From Nothing Unique Jewel are now properly reset when fully respeccing.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the buff granted by the Rain of Blades Skill to be removed early when gaining a different buff.
  • Fixed a bug where monsters in Abyssal Depths were not benefiting from increased chance for Abyssal monsters to have Abyssal or Lichborn Modifiers. In addition to the guaranteed Abyssal Modifier all Rare monsters in Abyssal Depths have, they will now have a chance of an additional modifier, and a chance of Lichborn modifiers.
  • Fixed a bug where the Meteoric Demise Abyss monster modifier dealt no Damage.
  • Fixed a bug where the Untether Skill (granted by The Master's Reach Unique Gloves) gained a second Quality stat from the Gemling Legionnaire's Advanced Thaumaturgy Passive Skill.
  • Fixed a bug where Runic Reprieve's Quality when you have the Gemling Legionnaire's Advanced Thaumaturgy Passive Skill allocated was instead increasing the amount of damage you take from Blocked Hits rather than decreasing it.
  • Fixed a bug where you could create a Portal to Town while being hit. The animation is correctly interrupted again in this case.
  • Fixed a bug where Torvian's Leap Slam would sometimes not move him at all, and sometimes he'd go backwards.
  • Fixed a bug where the Recover X% of maximum Life when you use a Warcry modifier was recovering life on all Skill uses instead of just Warcries.
  • Fixed a bug where items that are consumed by interacting with certain objects, such as the Pinnacle Boss Key used to access the Vessel of Kulemak boss fight, would be consumed from both the main inventory and the Titan's expanded inventory needlessly.
  • Fixed a bug where Essence of Horror encounters could spawn permanent invulnerable minions.
  • Fixed a bug where Quality did not apply to some Jewel modifiers.
  • Fixed a bug where Lightning Arrow could not chain to Lightning Rods created by Shockchain Arrow.
  • Fixed a bug where Cursecarver was unable to generate with Vulnerability as its chosen curse (those cases instead picked Elemental Weakness, leading to higher rates of that option). This does not change existing items.
  • Fixed a bug where the Ironbound Unique Bow was not granting Armour.
  • Added a verisium Runeforge upgrade for the Ironbound Unique Bow.
  • Fixed a bug where Monstrous Treasure was used for the name of 2 different Ancient Modifiers, the version that grants Map Bosses a Unique Item is now named Behemoth's Bounty. This is purely a descriptive change.
  • Fixed a bug where Rite of the Nameless progress was not migrated across leagues, such as when migrating out of SSF.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Explosive Transmutation supported by Spell Cascade to deal damage in the wrong location.
  • Fixed an issue where the quest markers on Map Pins in Act 4 weren't visible when you were choosing an area to sail to.
  • Fixed a bug where the Thaumaturge's Crossbow Skill microtransactions were not updating their visuals properly without reloading ammo.
  • Fixed an issue where the view patch notes button on the login screen led to an incorrect webpage.
  • Fixed 5 client crashes.
  • Fixed 4 instance crashes.

Seven weeks separate June 25 from August 13, and the most-reported targeting bug in the batch did not disappear until the very end of that stretch. The substance of the patch does not move over that time: a new talent tree for Expedition, a full pass on late-game bosses, and a pile of fixes that keeps growing revision after revision instead of closing all at once. The next expansion, Forbidden Rites (0.5.5), picked up the baton in early September.
