Nurse Harrow is picked in 73.0% of this season’s Phantom 1+ matches, and wins 49.8% of them. The same day, Rat King, present in 81.7% of matches, wins 54.7%. That is what the October 24 snapshot (around 1 p.m. Paris time) on Deadlock API shows: the six new Deadlock heroes from the September 29 City Never Sleeps update have neither the same strength nor the same success. To our knowledge, Valve publishes no per-hero win rates, so every figure comes from third-party sites.
The six new Deadlock heroes, side by side
Three snapshots taken on October 24 sit side by side below, next to the launch figure we published for each hero. Presence is the share of matches in which the hero appears, on Deadlock API.
| Hero | At launch (our snapshot) | Deadlock API, Phantom 1+: win rate (rank out of 44) | Deadlock API: presence | Blitz, Phantom+ | Statlocker, all ranks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rat King | about 61% | 54.7% (1st) | 81.7% | 53.1% | 55.6% |
| Baba | 43.8% | 53.1% (5th) | 44.5% | 58.0% | 54.3% |
| Nurse Harrow | released October 20 | 49.8% (25th) | 73.0% | 49.9% | 51.2% |
| Violet | 42.4% | 47.8% (34th) | 72.2% | 50.2% | 51.3% |
| Solomon | not recorded (44.1% on October 18) | 44.9% (43rd) | 44.7% | 46.8% | 45.7% |
| Deadman Danny | 27.9% | 41.2% (44th) | 68.6% | 45.1% | 50.2% |

Rat King and Baba on top, Solomon at the bottom
The three sources agree on the extremes. Rat King stays near the top everywhere, between 53.1% and 55.6%. Baba wins between 53.1% and 58.0% depending on the site. At the other end, Solomon never gets above 46.8%.
Change since launch says more. Rat King opened at about 61%, as we noted on October 6, and has dropped by more than 6 points. Baba, at 43.8% when she came out, has gained more than 9 points. Violet, at 42.4% at the start, has gained more than 5. Deadman Danny went from 27.9% on arrival to 41.2%, 13 points, without leaving last place. The first days of the new Deadlock heroes therefore give a poor picture of what follows, probably because players learn how to use them.
These snapshots come from different dates and scopes, not a curve followed day by day. The direction of the movement is still beyond doubt for Baba, Violet and Danny.
Nurse Harrow: popular, not broken
Harrow came out on October 20, last in the vote. All three sources put her around 50%: 49.8% over 10,374 matches on Deadlock API, 49.9% over 10,589 matches on Blitz (tier A), 51.2% on Statlocker. A hero who wins one match in two is not overpowered, and what stands out lies elsewhere: her presence. Statlocker shows a 79.4% pick rate and Blitz 89.8%.

These rates do not count players. Statlocker states that pick rate is the percentage of matches in which the hero appears, and the average confirms it: with twelve players for 44 heroes, a hero picked at random appears in about 27% of matches. Harrow is therefore in three to four matches out of five depending on the site, but not because of strength. It comes from a recent release and a vote that drew more than 110 million votes, according to deadlock.one. Deadman Danny (68.6% presence, 44th) shows that high presence does not prove strength, and Rat King (81.7%, 1st) that it can go along with it.
On the patch side, unDeadlock describes Harrow as a « Marksman healer », with leech jars and fear. Since then, build 6812 of October 21 touches map decor, and the October 22 data update on Warden’s Last Stand (an ability of Warden) changes no value, according to the same site. No rebalancing explains the figure.

Which new Deadlock heroes to play to climb
On these snapshots, the answer follows the Phantom 1+ figures from Deadlock API. Rat King (54.7%) and Baba (53.1%) are the only two new Deadlock heroes clearly above 50% in all three sources. Baba has the advantage of discretion: present in 44.5% of matches, she surprises more than a Rat King seen in four matches out of five.
Harrow is the middle choice. Her best allies on Deadlock API are Wraith (+3.2 points) and Baba (+2.8), and her biggest counter is Deadman Danny (−5.8). Her best-ranked item, Ricochet, wins 58.0% over 4,361 matches in which she buys it (42% of the time). Violet holds 50% on Blitz and Statlocker, but 47.8% in Phantom 1+. On these snapshots, Solomon and Danny are to be avoided for climbing, until their rates go back up.
What these new Deadlock hero figures do not say
The three sites do not measure the same thing. Statlocker pools all ranks, Deadlock API and Blitz stop at Phantom, and Blitz only counts since the October 20 patch. The gap on Danny, from 41.2% to 50.2%, probably comes from that scope, though no source explains it. A win rate also says little about how a hero is played: a healer wins with her team, and a rarely played hero attracts players who have studied it. The next snapshot will show whether Harrow follows Baba’s slope or Rat King’s.
