Time is the rewind healer. Instead of pumping raw throughput, it restores order by turning wounds back along their own timeline — a Holy-leaning mix of rewind healing, shields, and undoing damage. Its defining trait: it's the most reactive healer around. Damage happens, and you make it not have happened. Bring it when spike damage is the problem.
The whole spec pivots on one heal, Epoch, and the four Aeons that re-shape it — all four share a single cooldown, so you're constantly re-toggling stances to match the moment. Aeon of Resilience (signature) is a cheap, fast Epoch that also cuts the target's damage taken. Aeon of Protection layers a damage-absorb shield worth a slice of the heal. Aeon of Renewal trades direct healing for a delayed effect over time. Aeon of Oblivion is an expensive, high-crit Epoch that also buffs the target's damage dealt.
Teaches Aeon of Resilience: cuts Epoch's cast time by -25% and its mana cost by -10%, and healing done by it now reduces the target's damage taken by -5% for 6 seconds.
Closest analog is Preservation Evoker. Like Preservation, Time is a hybrid that heals through hard-hitting direct and HoT spells (Epoch, Accelerated Recovery, Correct the Mistake, Ripple) while re-toggling a shared-cooldown toolkit mid-fight: the four Aeons work like choosing between Evoker's empowered-spell levels — burst, mitigation, or HoT mode on one button. The layered absorbs and damage-reduction (Shield of the Ages, Aeon of Protection's absorb, Time Out!) echo Evoker's cooldown-heavy defensive fantasy, and The Vast Infinite's pool-the-damage-then-heal-it-back is its own 'store the damage, release the heal' signature.
How is this number calculated?
Measured scope: Zul'Gurub, all difficulties — High Priest Venoxis, High Priestess Jeklik, High Priestess Mar'li, Bloodlord Mandokir, High Priest Thekal, High Priestess Arlokk, Jin'do the Hexxer, Hakkar, Gri'lek, Gahz'ranka.

The index compares each spec to the median player — the one sitting exactly in the middle of the ranking — on the same boss and the same group format: 1.00 matches that median player, 1.40 means 40% more damage than them. Only each player’s best fight counts, never their average — otherwise a player posting fifty fights would count as much as fifty different players, and averaging would mostly reward beginners still learning the spec rather than those who’ve mastered it. The comparison always happens on the same boss and the same format: a two-minute fight and a seven-minute one aren’t comparable, and a flex raid doesn’t give the same support as a 25-man.
Tiers (S, A, B…) aren’t picked by hand: the cutoffs are calculated from the real spread of every measured spec. A spec under 15 distinct players or 30 fights isn't ranked at all, rather than given a made-up grade. For healing specs, only fights where the player actually healed are counted — several healing specs are often played for damage, and counting those would unfairly drag their score down.

These talents are a PvE configuration. The Arena and Battleground grades shown above rate the specialisation’s PvP potential — not this tree.
Rewind healer: heal/shield formulas scale off Spell Power, but Sands of Life converts Spirit DIRECTLY into healing power (reinforced by Rippling Power and mana regen), making Spirit the top throughput stat, not just sustain. Haste compresses spike-coverage casts; Intellect and Critical Strike are close and swappable to taste (Crit shaves Ripple's cooldown via A Ripple In Time and feeds Cadence of Time). This is pure healing — no spell-hit line, so Hit/Expertise aren't itemized.
