The plague specialization: seventeen distinct rot, plague, and decay effects make up the densest DoT kit in CoA.
Load every plague you have onto the target and let the attrition math close the fight — a maximally proactive playstyle where your damage was decided ten seconds ago.
Damage from Crypt Swarm applies a stack of Crypt Plague, and Lichfrost applies two — a wound that ticks Plague damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds, stacking up to 10 times (fresh applications don't refresh the duration).
Closest analog is Unholy/Blood Death Knight with an Affliction Warlock veneer: like a Death Knight it runs on Runic Power and stacks diseases rather than casting direct heals — Flesh to Worms and Plague of Undeath are a disease engine, not an Atonement-style damage-to-healing loop. The DoT-stacking (Crypt Plague to its cap, Necrosis duration), spreading (Crypt Explosion, Pandemic), and disease-refresh (Virulency) layer is pure Affliction Warlock. With no external heal anywhere in the kit, it isn't mechanically close to any real allied-healer spec (Disc/Resto/Mistweaver/Holy/Preservation).
