Farstrider turns wilderness knowledge into party value: group-wide mobility and Horn buffs ready before every fight. It's the utility Ranger — the one who sets up every pull and keeps the group moving.
Your damaging crits spawn a Dream Flower: an ally who walks over it heals up and gets a burst of movement speed.
The closest retail analog is Augmentation Evoker: like Aug, its identity is built around empowering allies' output (the Horns' haste/crit auras, Battle Screech's attack buff) while still doing solid personal ranged damage on its own Advantage loop, with only minor incidental healing rather than a real healing rotation.
Why is this spec not rated like the others?
Combat logs only rank damage and healing. This specialisation does neither as its main job: it supports the group.
Its rating therefore answers a different question: is it brought to raids?
Across 671 fights of raids, all difficulties with at least 90% of the roster known.
The expected share is what a spec would get if slots were split at random between those competing for them — a tank and a damage spec are not after the same number. Above ×1 it is brought more than its share; below, less.
This rating never exceeds A: it describes what groups choose, not what a specialisation produces. A spec can be strong and rare.
