Entering the Worldstone Chamber portal too fast was enough to make the seasonal quest impossible to finish. It is one of the fourteen fixes in patch 3.2.2 for Season 15, "Season of Hell's Legacy", released at the end of September: on the 29th according to the official notes, on the 30th according to d4guides. No balance number changes in this update, and hotfix 4 of September 22 comes on top of it, after the September 17 hotfix already covered on the site.
What patch 3.2.2 fixes in the season
Blizzard's notes, relayed by Icy Veins (Miril, September 25, 2026), cover build 73764, across all platforms. Fourteen fixes are named, along with a "stability, performance and visuals" line with no detail. No value is changed: these are bug fixes only.

- Seasonal quest: it became impossible to finish if you entered the Worldstone Chamber portal too quickly, where you fight the Echo of Baal.
- Lester's Farm, Waking Nightmare: going down into the hive too fast could lock up the dungeon.
- Chamber of Bone: rewards were not being handed out.
- Nihlathak: the boss could teleport out of his arena.
- Henri's Perquisition: this unique charm (Necromancer, Sorcerer, Warlock) could not be crafted in the Horadric Cube.
- Edge runeword: the Tir + Tal + Amn recipe applies to bows and two-handed weapons, with the affix "+7.5% chance for an extra item from the Purveyor of Curiosities". The bug gave two items at once. Only the bug is fixed, the 7.5% stays the same.
- Lore runeword: on a helm (Ort + Sol), the helm turned invisible. The defect was purely visual.
- The Tower: the Artificer's Obelisk did not show on the map and minimap that rewards were available.
- Horadric Post: a new Season 15 feature that delivers rewards and resources. You could not interact with it while mounted.
- Interface: the leaderboard button appeared in the Eternal Realm on controller, and the pinned currency was not highlighted.
Pulverize, Incinerate, Sol: the three fixes that affect builds
Three points directly affect how you play, and d4guides (eRnstl, September 28, 2026) breaks them down. On the Druid side,
Pulverize, the Werebear skill, could lock a Staggered boss in place indefinitely. That is fixed, and the damage of
Pulverize is unchanged.

In practice, boss kill times measured with
Pulverize before the patch are no longer a valid reference. If a boss stayed frozen under the bug, the timer looked flattering, and it needs to be redone.
For the Sorcerer, burn damage from Incinerate Enchantment did not trigger the Tal rune. Blizzard does not say which of the two Tals is meant. d4guides reads it as the Season 15 Tal Rune of Ritual, but that is their reading, not an official confirmation. An Offering cadence built around Tal and Incinerate Enchantment may therefore have been underestimated until now.
Third point: the damage reduction of the Sol rune did not activate when it should have. Sol is the Season 15 Rune of Invocation: according to d4guides, it costs 350 Offering and grants a temporary 15% damage reduction. Those figures come from their analysis, not from Blizzard's notes.
Hotfix 4: Fiend of Abaddon is back, the Prime Evil Council pays out less
Posted on September 22, 2026 on the official forum by community manager "filthierich", this hotfix 4 (version 3.2.1) contains nine fixes. The most anticipated one concerns the Warlock: the Lesser Demon Bonus of Fiend of Abaddon allowed unintended damage. It is fixed, and the upgrade, disabled the previous week, is active again.

- 5-piece bonus of the Song of the Old Mountain talisman, combined with the Grief runeword, dealt unintended damage: fixed.
- Prime Evil Council fight gave too much experience and loot: the loot cooldown has been increased.
- The Butcher could be summoned endlessly: fixed.
- Tristram Fountain: it consumed Wirt's Lucky Coins without opening the portal.
- Switch 2: the skill variants from the Lord of Hatred expansion were unusable.
- Class quests: several cases where they could not be completed.
- Horadric Cube: materials were not given with the Kurast Undercity Tributes.
- Seasonal reputation Resplendent Cache: it did not give its Resplendent Spark.
Our Season 15 builds: which ones are affected
Two Warlock builds use Fiend of Abaddon: Cri ardent speed farm (Searing Cry speed farm) and Cri ardent fosse 150 (Searing Cry Pit 150). The reactivation of the Lesser Demon bonus affects them.
On the Druid side, Rocher à trillions (Trillion Boulder) relies on the Song of the Old Mountain set. The fix to the 5-piece bonus with Grief may affect it: check whether your version used Grief.
None of our Season 15 builds uses
Pulverize or Incinerate Enchantment, so those two fixes change nothing for us. The overall ranking remains available in our Season 15 tier list, which patch 3.2.2 does not call into question.
