The ranking reflects what dominates the very start of 0.5. At the top are the ascendancies best honed for leveling: Martial Artist in melee, Spirit Walker and Deadeye at range, Tactician on the Mercenary, and the Lich combo with Essence Drain and Contagion on the caster side. The Plant builds (Vines and Entangle) remain ultra accessible and reliable controller in hand. The A and B tiers gather solid alternatives, sometimes a bit more demanding in gear or setup, but perfectly viable to reach the end of leveling.
